Lishkra walked further away from the inn and then looked back at it. Such a marvelous structure. It has defenses enough, but not on the outside. Most of the inn is vulnerable. Although the bunker would survive a massive attack, I'm afraid the rest of the inn wouldn't.

I need extra precautions. I'd rather not have my inn vandalized, or destroyed. Lishkra stared at the inn thoughtfully. We need to make a mote. A wall around the mote, not stone...not yet.

A wooden wall will do for now. Spiked, preferably. The mote shouldn't be to hard to dig up. It will be very time consuming. I'll have to post double watch outside, to protect the supplies.
Now, what to fill the mote with. Water? Spikes? Burning wood? Looking at the side of the inn, Lishkra noticed Athena sitting there.

Smiling he walked over to her. "Good morning, Miss Athena. What are you doing on this fine day?"

Athena opened her eyes and smiled. "Hello Lishkra! I was just flying with Amor then practicing my swords play. I can't stand to be inside when it's such a beautiful day out." She smiled again and looked at him. "You seem well rested and in high spirits today. Did you have a good sleep." She asked with a half smile. Amor nudged Lishkra with his nose also wanted to be addressed.

((Oh well yeah I could do that. Though I also need to finish up my work for tomorrow >> I'll see where I am in an hour.))

Amor snorted and tossed his forlock.

Athena smiled. "Yes I'm ready to start work. And yes we can use Amor." She looked down at her clothing and half smiled. Whats wrong with my clothing? Oh wait...I get it. She said to herself. The elf smiled and looked up at Lishkra. "Do you like what I'm wearing?" she asked as she looked up at Amor then Lishkra. She was not meaning it in anyway. She just wanted to know what he thought since she was not allowed to read his thoughts.

Lishkra smiled. "Hmmm. Well, it is too revealing, but I guess that doesn't matter in the wilderness. I bet it allows you to move easier, but we won't be fighting in town, so it's impractical there. Do I like it?"

Lishkra thought a moment. "Well, it looks nice on you." Lishkra looked away for a moment. "Anyway, let's get on with the work. We'll need to start cutting down trees to start off on the wall."

"There is a woodmill in town that will cut the trees for us. I'd rather cut down trees more than buying the actual planks. It's a lot cheaper." Lishkra looked around. "I'm sure Seza can handle cutting trees and digging part of the trench, but...have you see anyone today besides Halen and Seza?"

Before Athena could answer, Lishkra turned towards Alonzo. "Yes, I would appreciate that greatly. There are two shovels in the stables. Would you please bring the other one to Seza and ask her to come out? Along with Klaudia, the fresh air will do her good."

Lishkra turned his attention back to Athena. "Sorry about that. So, who have you seen?"

Athena smiled. "Alright if it puts your mind at ease I will change before going into town. I have seen only one person that did not talk to me. I don't his name but he said he was the cook." She shifted her weight and stood up. The elf smiled again at him. Amor went to eating on the grass as they talked. Athena dusted herself off and took a deep breath. Wow he does seem like someone I can trust. Athena said to herself.

Hearing her name, Klaudia looked over from where the voice came from and waved. "Hello!" She cupped her free hand around her mouth and called a greeting back to him.
Alonzo zipped past her to go find the shovels. He was a speedy kid, and not quite so clumsy now that he was far more awake.
