Celebor's eyes narrowed. "You sure know a lot about Idhril and Joruri," he accused his son in a challenging voice. "You have been a liar since you were born, and you've done nothing but hate and despise those around you! You have always taken pleasure in others' pain!"

Armus nodded, her bright blue eyes dulled by guilt.

"That matches his wounds perfectly," she murmured. She buried her face in her hands. "It's my fault ... I should never have let him go ... I should have chased after him ..."

Corrah said nothing, but stared at Ruran relentlessly, trying to peer through the boy's defenses and see the truth inside of him. It was true, the dagger had disappeared when Ruran had ... and as the boy himself had admitted, he had left the mountain ... but on top of all of that ...

"There is one more thing that you should know," he said quietly, turning his gaze to Celebor and Niyana. "Take it how you will ... Ruran has been acting quite inappropriately with his sister, Kanis ... touching her in places and ways that only a mate should ... she is thus far blissfully unaware of what it means, though I did see discomfort in her eyes."

No, in his mind there was no doubt. Ruran had attacked his aunt: the boy was capable of anything.

Ruran tensed and his glare turned to his father. "I only know what I saw when I first met her! That stupid doll should not exists. If anyone rapped her it was him, they were in that cave for two days!" He sighed a bit and shook his head, "So what if I enjoy pain...my aunt was suppose to be my woman!"

He tensed and really wanted to kill someone now. If he knew were Kanis was he would have ran to beat her senseless.

Niyana watched everyone and sighed. "Armus do not blame yourself...Our son is really tainted." she was at a loss. She didn't know how to stop Ruran. She didn't know even where to stop. "He feeds off of his own pain too..." The words Corrah said sickened her. She didn't even know how to approach that.

"Ruran...you might not believe this but your too young to be engaging in any form of sexual acts. And I know you are angry about me being with your father...but two hybrids to no equal a pure blood. And brothers and sisters should not try and mix their genes." She said sternly.

Ruran glared. "Don't talk about me as if I am not here. And Kanis was not disturbed. But if you think it is wrong mom you should talk to your daughter and her disgusting wolf...they touch more than Kanis and I ever did!"

Celebor's eyes narrowed. If Ruran knew how long Idhril and Joruri had been in that cave, he had obviously been to see them - and then came the near confession, both to the accusation about him and Idhril, and him and Kanis.

"Corrah," he growled through his teeth, "I release you from our agreement ... I will not make you responsible for training a monster. And as for you ..."

He glared down at his son.

"Don't you ever come near any of us again," he said quietly, his voice shaking with anger. "Not me, or your mother, or any of your siblings, or Idhril or anyone associated with us!"

Corrah's eyes grew cold and piercing once more, and he agreed with a single nod of his head. He would be more than happy to be rid of the boy ... he was only sorry that he had already provided the boy with enough training to do the damage that he had.

Niyana winced a bit at Celebor's words. She thought that Ruran was talking about the first time he met Idhril. She was proud of how Celebor had handled it.

Ruran glared more. "You can't do that! I am still your child! And I am not going to stop training until Corrah gives me the blades he promised me!" He was fuming and slammed his fist hard into the nearest tree. "How dare you accuse me of something like that and if I want to get with my sister or sisters i have every right too!" He was going to to make them all pay one b one he would make them all pay!

"And how dare you even pretend that anything you have ever done in your life is even remotely acceptable!" Celebor shouted back at his son. "From your arrival in this world you've been nothing but a monster! You have no rights to be with your sisters, not even to look at them!"

He couldn't believe the words that he was hearing from his own son. How could he have brought such a being into this world? How could he be responsible for him?

"Now get out of here while you are still able!" he ordered through clenched teeth. "Because if I ever catch you with anyone - your siblings, my siblings, or your mother - I will not hesitate to kill you!"

Corrah looked coldly down at Ruran.

"You may consider those blades that I showed you recompense for my time wasted with you," he said in an icy tone. "Be thankful that you are being allowed to escape with your life."

His eyes narrowed, and they were just about glowing with fury. "Now ... get off my mountain ... because unlike your father, I have little self-restraint when it comes to killing ... and you are not my son ... so I have no reason not to kill you."
PostPosted: Thu Oct 16, 2008 2:51 pm

Ruran glared at Corrah, "YOu did not waste your time I was your best new student! I learned and did what you say...I even stopped touching Kanis!" He tensed even more to where it looked like his small frame might just break. "Those blades are mine!"

He didn't know what was wrong, why his family was being like this to him. He growled and started to run off. "When he was far enough he turned and looked at them, "I will make sure you all pay for this!" And he disappeared into he trees
.

Niyana sighed and looked down knowing she had no place to talk. Ruran did not respect things that were not elf. And Corrah and Celebor were the only ones he really respected. But she could not believe she had just allowed her son to be casted away from her and everyone else.

She looked to Corrah. "I am very sorry Corrah..." She then looked to her mate, "I do not think his threat was empty Celebor...the girls and Ruque will have to train a lot harder...and your sister with her new child will have to be very careful..."

Rhea nuzzled against Aras' hip. As much as he wanted to take her mind off of what was troubling her he knew he could not....causae if they got caught it would end ever badly. So he tried to comfort her as best as he could.

Corrah shook his head sadly at Niyana.

"Do not apologize," he told her quietly. "It is not your fault. I did not watch him as I ought to have ... and rather than correcting his temper, I worked with it to fuel his desire to train."

He knelt to one knee in front of Celebor and Niyana and bowed his head respectfully.

"I have caused your family great danger," he said firmly. "I will do my utmost to continue to train your daughters to protect themselves and others, if that is still your desire. I understand if it is not ... I have failed you once already."

Celebor put one arm around Niyana's shoulders and drew her close, tucking her head under his chin and hugging her gently.

"We must all do what we can," he murmured. "Niyana, I have no objections to Corrah continuing to train Aras and Kanis ... do you? Perhaps at some point we could help as well, but I think ... that there is something that we must do first."

They both needed time to heal, both from this incident and from whatever it was that had grown between them ... they needed some time just to themselves, without interruption or worry. Only when they were what they had once been together would they be able to help their children. The girls could stay with Corrah and Armus - they would be safest there. Ruque would be fine with his aunt and uncle for a few days, he was sure. And while he hadn't yet suggested his idea to Niyana, he knew that it would be good - for both of them.

Aras was sitting at the top of the cliff that she and Rhea climbed to get to their den, watching the trees anxiously for her parents or her trainers, wanting to know what was going on.

"I hope Mommy and Daddy let me stay here with you," she told Rhea anxiously, scratching behind his ears absently. "I don't want to go home ..."

Niyana shook her head. "No Corrah please do not worry about it, It was not your fault...our son...you only did what would be best for him, Though I would protect the blades he spoke of." She slide and arm around Celebor's waist. "And we would be honored and greatly appreciative if you would continue to train our daughters...I trust them in your hands...though I would like to see Kanis..."

Rhea nuzzled against Aras and lay down so his arms and chest would be over her lap. "Then I shall go with Arras....and stay by her side." He licked at her pants.

Corrah bowed his head again, then rose to his feet and looked at Celebor and Niyana grimly.

"Then I will do so," he murmured solemnly. "Come ... I will take you to Kanis ... Armus, please go see Aras and Rhea, make sure they are all right ... and we will be down to see them shortly."

He wasn't worried about them running off like Ruran had, but he was worried about Ruran perhaps finding them and causing more problems.

He turned towards the trees and beckoned for Niyana and Celebor to follow.

Celebor hugged Niyana again, then took her hand and started after Corrah.

It might be best to leave Kanis and Aras with Corrah to train, he thought to Niyana, even though we had planned to take them home ... it would be best for them to get as much training in as possible ... and if Kanis's leg is as bad as they made it sound, it might be a good idea not to move her and risk more damage.

Niyana followed Corrah, "Thank you sir." she said and watching him. She was surprised by all of his scars and his solid form. She nodded, Yes you are right they should stay here...I will get some herbs for her and we should return to Ruque and idhril for now...We should be with them for a bit more...warn them.

She was still upset when what happened. "Corrah that you for all you have done...and will do. We owe you a lot. She wanted to be with Celebor and try to mend the gap that was growing between them but they could not do that yet...they had too much to do."

Kanis and wrapped her self up in Corrah's blanket and was resting like she promised.

It was about a ten minute trip up the mountainside with the three of them before they finally reached the place where Corrah had left Kanis. He was glad to see that she was still resting when they arrived.

"Kanis," he said quietly as he appeared out of the trees, "your parents are here."

A moment later Celebor and Niyana appeared right behind Corrah. Celebor was still holding Niyana's hand, and until the moment when he saw Kanis his grip was tight with anxiety - but once he saw that Kanis seemed all right (besides her broken leg) he relaxed a bit.

Niyana followed Celebor in silence. She was worried about her daughter but she needed to be strong for Celebor though she knew that if it was really bad Corrah would have told them.

She smiled and moved over to the bedding where her daughter lay curled up, letting go of her mate's hand. She looked at the dagger. "I take it that was to take care of herself when you came down to check on the others?"

She pulled back the blanket to look at the leg. "He did do a good job....but your fixing is excellent Corrah!" she said in a slight gasp. His mending was wonderful...his stitching which she thought would be a flied dressing was with the skill of a surgeon. "Though there is a small infection...it should not be a problem...I have the herb with me that will clear it right up." She smiled up at Celebor.

Kanis thought she herd Corrah's voice and she felt someone moving the blankets so she opened her eyes shocked to find her mother looking down at her. "Mother?" she looked around and saw Celebor and blushed, "Father?" She sat up. "I am sorry I got hurt..." she said softly. She for some reason felt herself more worried now that her parents were here, they looked so worried. "Did something happen to someone else?" she turned and looked at Corrah, "Sir are Aras, Ruran, and Rhea all okay?"

Celebor was relieved to see that Kanis was all right - considering her broken leg - and he was more than happy to let Niyana take over and check her over.

"I have every confidence in you," he smiled at Niyana, looking calmer than he felt. He was still shaken by his son's actions- he was sure it would take him a while to get over it, if he ever did.

Corrah knelt next to Kanis and smiled at her. "Armus is with Rhea and Aras," he told her quiet, his voice full of assurance, "and they are all fine. Ruran ..."

He hesitated, then looked to Niyana and Celebor. He would let them tell her what had happened, if they wished to ... it was not his place, after all.

Kanis nods, "What's wrong with Ruran?" She asked. Her eyes despite Corrah's warm reassurance were filled with worry.

Niyana smiled, "Its okay Kanis...Ruran will not be training with you any more. He is healthy...but I need you to do a favor for me...if you see him before Celebor finishes training you, run to Corrah or Armus...your brother did something he shouldn't have and I don't want you to get hurt."

She said warmly trying to comfort Kanis. She smoothed her daughter's hair and then nods, "You you get to stay with Corrah as much as you like..."

Kanis looked confused. "Um...okay...as long as he is not hurt...." she looked down at her leg. she didn't like that her brother was some where else...but she would not ask. At laest she did not have to go home.

Rhea lifted his head and looked over the cliff. His tail started to wag. "Mother! Is all well?"

Celebor squatted next to Niyana and Kanis and looked at their daughter seriously.

"You must listen very closely to your mother," he advised her quietly. "Ruran is dangerous ... you mustn't let him harm you in any way, all right?"

He put one hand on her shoulder. "Corrah will take good care of you," he nodded, "so you can trust him with anything. Aras will be staying here with you as well. But promise me one thing - that you will work hard and do all that Corrah asks of you, and become as good as you can, all right? Become strong ... as I know you can."

He smiled then, and leaned forward and kissed Kanis gently on the top of her head.

Armus waved up at Rhea and smiled. "Ruran is gone," she called up to him and Aras, "so you and Aras can rest safely now. But if you do happen to see him again, don't let him near Aras, all right?"

Aras blinked at her trainer. "What happened?" she asked, perplexed.

Armus thought a moment about how to explain it. "He attacked your aunt," she said finally, "and your father and mother have banished him, I guess ... he will no longer be training with you, and is no longer welcome on the mountain."
