DavidGemmell ...you start using foreign pronunciation rules when speaking in your own language. ALL THE TIME. And by doing so I pick up some sort of ridiculous accent. It has become normal for me to have a slight French accent. I like the Russian one; it makes me sound like a vampire. xD Of course, I'm not very good at Russian accents. gonk

... when you get annoyed (and sometimes confused) if your CD player (or other electronic) is set in your mother language
... when you start applying the spelling rules of another language to your Mother language
(Gulity of both)

I like the Russian one; it makes me sound like a vampire. xD Of course, I'm not very good at Russian accents. gonk Well, I haven't exactly picked up an accent that way (although apparently I've picked up a slight Welsh accent from university), but I've started accidentally using Dutch vowel sounds for English words.

I really like the Serbian and Russian accent ever since I watched a few seasons of 24. I am now using it ever so slightly for fun weeeee.

Mainly Japanese, French, and German. I only read English or Chinese when I'm actually looking for something. (Meaning: I spend too much time reading random things on the various Wikipedias)
