It wasn't long until Ace had fixed the tail fin that the Captain had told him to do. Ace made his way to the closest speaking tube. "Problem fixed captain. Do you need me anywhere else?"

Overhearing Talon's request, and Daniel's reply, Elliot calls over to her. "Miss, though in future you may want to select a gun from the armoury as your personal weapon, I have a number here as this is a might easier to get to if we are ambushed. Any weapon of choice?"

Emelia nodded to Penelope and began to follow the younger girl to the lower levels. She looked behind her before going through the entrance to the hallways.
"Do you...do you think we should be armed at all?" She seemed concerned, looking back behind her to the deck, and down the hallway to the cargo bay, as though waiting for intruders to burst in any moment, or come running out taking something important.

The Admiral nodded and followed the Captain. "You have permission to engage. Try not to kill them, but if you have no other option then blow them from the sky."

Talon thought for a moment any thing that you only need one hand for medium range that you dont have to reload a lot if possible. Reloading on the back of a moving ship wile being attacked isnt a good idea." She patted her portable welder. "As far as close range I have that covered."

"Very well then." Elliot nodded, rummaged in a container at his post, and pulled out a curious-looking gun, presumably a ray gun of sorts. He threw it deftly towards Talon. "Catch. Its a Weta model, so it should be reliable, for one fight at least, and will keep charged long enough to have a nice little spree, should you so desire. Meanwhile, its very accurate, and should be of little effectiveness against the ship, should everything turn for the worse."

Sasha hearing talk of a fight smiled and pulled out one of her home brewed concouctions. It was the Gas powered gin she was working. she made a few more modifications and attached the gas cylander into it's slot in the handle of the pistol. she then attached a small and narrow clip into the handle aswell smiling. "It'll make em hurt" she said to her self as she placed it into her apron and snatched one of her large aircraft wrenches and held it in one hand. "Let them come near my ship or the ships in my hanger" she said with a littl to happy smile

"Alight crew, lets be ready,"Dan calls out, "Eli have the gunners target the less vital points, shoot to disable, but feel free to take what ever measure you deem necessary."
Daniel heads up to the cockpit chair and hooks his wings back into it and settles himself. Flipping a switch, panels along the hull open and roll out shutter like sheets of iron plating previously hidden between decks.
taking off the auto pilot, Daniel circles the enemy craft well out of cannon range. he didn't doubt a fight was coming, in fact he looked forward to it, but they had to make the first move.
------
Aboard the black ship: A tall man dressed in black leathers strode across the deck. His crew jumped at attention as he clomped past. The tall dark man did not seem to notice them. Moving to the helm, he glowers at the distant flying city. "You refused my help once O Amaranth. You ran me out like a plague. Now i return to deliver a true plague on your happy little toy." His laugh is rich and full of hate. The long dreadlocks spilling out from under his tattered hat like snakes.
One of the pirate band cautiously approaches the dark man, obviously afraid of the captain. "Sir! Our agents report your little package is in place!"
"Excellent." Said the Captain "Have them detonate our little gift for the good Admiral."
The pirate nodded, quickly hurrying off to a communicator. Before long, a thundering boom could be heard from the mighty city, as part of the warehouse district burst into flames - sowing fear and disarray amongst the people of the city.
The captain smiles cruelly, pleased with the distraction. "Prepare to engage"
"Aye Captain Dart!" the sailor hurries away.
(i made up the pirate captain Dart, hes our bad guy of the week ^_^ did i do ok with the villain part?)

Things certainly had come around, hadn't they? The black ship seemed to be hostile. Albrecht rushed into the section of the gun at the Bow, speaking to the clank in place briefly, just enough to get a run-down. Despite his accent and seemingly uneducated manner of speech, Albrecht had a genius mind behind those wild eyes. He could analyze the gun with just a little bit of instruction.
Boom-Boom rushed right up to Albrecht's side. There was something unusual about the preparedness in its step, like it was somehow expecting to be of great use.
[ Edit: If I could find when you guys are actually ON I'd be a lot more active. D: ]

"Men! Permission to fire your weapons! Target is Black ship, weapon systems and engines only! Do not fire at the deck or baloon! Feuer frei!"
Having given the order, and having no doubt that even the clank members of his crew could manage the order with no further direction, Elliot pulled out his rifle and surveyed the deck of the ship, comtemplating a nice shot to the Captain.

The evil man aboard the black vessel grinned, showing perfect white teeth. "Engage the Anachronism boys!" the pirates rushed about, the cannons rolling out and spitting flames.
------
Nobody missed the cannon fire. Or the explosion on the guildship.
"Prepare to engage!" Daniel shouted into the tubes. Gunning the ship to max speed, he charged the pirate ship. "Gunnery crew fire at will, fire at will."
The battle was on

"Gunners! Change Targets! Target is Black Ship, and whatever part of it you damn well please! Only one stipulation: DO NOT MISS!"
Normally he would have liked to be a bit more specific anyway in target acquisition, but with the Anachronism under attack it would seem foolish to waste time, particularly when they only had one target and they wanted it done.
Turning back to his own rifle, Elliot passed over the deck. The Captain was now obscured by a length of superstructure, ruining the shot even at Elliot's accuracy. The crewman who appeared to be navigating was less lucky.
Elliot braced himself, the gun firmly in his shoulder, and all 2 metres or so of the weapon held still despite the motion of the ship. Vidal's trenchcoat tossed too and fro in the wind, but this did not affect his aim. When Elliot was confident he had compensated for the ships' movements, he fired the shot, which rang out and struck the navigator in the temple, killing him instantly, with no sound on the deck of the enemy ship other than that made by the gun itself. The navigator slumped across his station.

Myles stands at the navigator's station as the captain connects himself to the chair. The musician obviously has good sea legs, as he moves with the rolling of the ship with nary a stumble.
"Should I bother asking the odds, Daniel?"

"ALRIGHT, ALREADY! HOLD YOUR HORSES!" And that was when, of all the insane things he could have done, Albrecht grabbed up Boom-Boom by his mechanical tail and stuffed him rather unceremoniously into the Bow Gun's loader. Lighting up, he fired.
"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRR!!!!!!" Came the mechanical, hollow howling noise as the critter went flying from bow to stern, slamming headlong into the Black Ship and plowing into its deck, at which point it stood up a little dizzily, whoozling about and stumbling quite clearly. As it did so, it seemed to vomit a small, round black object from its muzzle, easily the size of a fist, which rolled away slowly... And then the little pup began stumbling off in a completely different direction, now on-board the black ship.
