"Come on. Tell me what's wrong, please. I'm sure it'll help." Baylor said as he walked into her room closer to her bed.

Eros approached the castle, studying the shadows in the windows. He gazed at Devinity's window longest. He identified her silhouette immediately. However, there was a nother presence with her. It was not that of Jusaku, Eros could see the demon's silhouette in his room where he belonged. Eros quickly ran to the castle door, slamming it open, and continuing up the staircase. He slowed to a walk as he reached the corridor. The sight that met him wasn't pleasant. Baylor's back was not what he wanted to see.

Devi got up from the bed quickly, brushing the tear from her cheek. Slightly startled by Eros sudden appearance. She stared, not quite understanding why he was here...She backed away, trieing not to meet his gaze.

"Huh?" Baylor quickly spun around to see Eros in the doorway.

Eros did not allow his thoughts to linger on Devinity's reaction of his arrival. He placed a friendly yet firm hand on Baylor's shoulder.
"It is alright now Baylor. She had told you she is fine. I wish to speak with her now. Would you kindly excuse us?"
His smile was accompanied by a slight squeeze to Baylor's shoulder. Eros' muscles were tense, the stress of his and Devi's situauion was affecting him.

She looked up at him, thinking she had never seen him this way. So set on something. She looked him over more slowly, trieing hard to control herself. Somehow feeling thrilled and excited by the whole event. His presence was different than usual, no longer a calming wave over her.

"Um, ok?" Baylor left the room to leave Devi and Eros alone, but was hanging outside the door out of sight to listen in on their conversation.

Baylor_The_Modern_Hero "Um, ok?" Baylor left the room to leave Devi and Eros alone, but was hanging outside the door out of sight to listen in on their conversation. Jusaku left his room. He saw Baylor. "Its not nice to eavesdrop on other peoples conversations." He laughed. "I suggest going to sleep."

Eros smiled to himself. He turned slowly and calmly paced to the shadows beyaond the door frame. He stopped a scant few inches from Baylor and Jusaku.
"Baylor, I suggest you take Jusaku's advice. One day, someone might punish you for so rudely listening to what they have to say in private." Eros gave a soft smile to Jusaku and returned to Devinity's room, closing the door silently behind him.

Devi leaned against her bedpost. "What are you doing back?" She said, sounding bitter and careless. A weak mask for her true feelings. She never took her eyes off of him. She twirled her hair in her fingers slowly, carelessly.

Baylor continued to listen to the conversation, completly ignoring both Jusaku's and Eros's advice.
