"Alright," Bowie sighed as they walked down the street. A sudden storm cloud seemed to appear. Only a few drops of rain fell on his face before the storm ended, just as suddenly as it began. A few minutes later, the two reached their front door.

"Alright, Bowie... this... is goodbye. But... I promise to come back when it is all over..." Gustave said.

"God Luck," the boy replied, staring at the yellow fairy that was his brother for a moment before entering the house.

Zelda was just finishing pulling on the pair of pants that the Sheikah had packed for her when Link started playing his ocarina. She paused, surprised. "That's the song of..." she murmured, then trailed off. "Storms," she finished finally. She thought it was, anyway. She pulled a blue tunic out of the saddlebags and pulled it on, then began lacing up the boots. They were a little big, she realized with a grimace. Finally she braided her hair back out of her face, and pulled the braid up into a knot at the back of her head with a leather tie. That'll keep it out of my face, she thought with some satisfaction.
She picked up her saddlebags, and then dropped them in absolute shock. Link was playing... "My lullaby," she whispered, her eyes wide. She stepped out from behind the pillar, but had to watch him play for a few more seconds before she thought there was a reasonable chance that she could be coherent. "How do you know that song?" she asked, quietly. It occurred to her that she wasn't just surprised that he knew it, she was angry. It felt like a violation of a private sanctuary, one for the memory of her mother.

Link looked up in surprise at the girl, surprised at the slight raggedness of her clothes. A warm smile graced his face despite the glare he was receiving, "My mother taught it to me. It's been passed down a few generations since my great great grandfather. He called it, Zelda's Lullaby."

Gustave smiled, and quickly flew back to Zelda and Link...

Anger softened into confusion. "Zelda's..." she trailed off, then nodded slowly. "My mother used to sing it to me. I suppose it could be one of the song keys, though I never thought-" She swallowed and changed the subject. "In any case, I'm ready to go."
She reached back behind the pillar and grabbed the two saddle bags. As she did so, her intricate gold circlet fell out of one of the overstuffed bags, hitting the tile with a soft clang. Zelda rolled her eyes, exasperated. "Oh, for-" She grabbed the circlet and stuffed it back inside, then moved back to her bedroll and started packing it up as well.

Here, Ley me help you with that," Link smiled as he lifted one of the bags then headed towards the entrance, "I'll be outside when ya'll're done."

"I just said that I was ready," Zelda replied, putting the remaining saddle bag over one shoulder. She gasped as her sore muscles protested, but grimly followed Link. She could do this.

"Hey girl, you get a good night's sleep?" Link smiled at Epona as he pet her snout. He imagined she was fairly hungry, but that would have to wait a little while. Carefully, he attached the saddle bag and stared at the princess on the other side, "We'll go by foot out of the town, I don't really feel like drawin' a crowd with that man still aroun'," Link explained then walked over to the door and opened it to reveal the warm sunlight and a small yellow fairy.

"Sorry about that, I think we're done here," Link commented then signaled to his horse to come, "So, is he upset?"

"Sorry, but we really don't have the room..." Link replied nervously, but suddenly his tone change and his eyes averted the yellow ball, "Besides, your parents deserve to know that at least one of their sons is safe."
