I think pomp is a nice peice but the problem is haveing to play it 11 times in a row hurts after a while. especialy with braces D:

Bari Sax Man Blue_Vampire I saw a lot of people putting this and I have to disagree... Pomp and Circumstance. I like it! Not the easy junior high/elementary school version, the real version. I like it. Yes it's a bit slower then my own personal taste... but I still like it! When my Band plays it it sounds really pretty. Yeah it sounds good... the first time you hear it, not after you hear it at every graduation ceramony ever. Yeah, but that's only for people who go to a bunch of graduations. But for me, it wouldn't matter how many times I hear it, it's playing music and being surrounded by my band that makes it fun for me to play.

~The Hey Song (for tuba, it's all quarter notes... crying )
~Flight of the bumblebee. (it is a great song, but tubas can't tounge that fast!!)

~ANY LATIN JAZZ! (that's all Pennsauken plays, and I moved, and got another band that plays it)

Hey! Latin Jazz is awesome (drools over festival de ritmo)
Anyway, there are songs that should be burned, but I can't really think of any right now.
Pomp and Circumstance comes to mind, though.
And the pep band arrangement of eye of the tiger. Its bad. Its really bad.

Tohru Honda-san Pomp and Circumstance but I will NEVER have to EVER play it AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause I'm a Senior, but that is sad too even though I hate that song SOOOOOOOOOOOO much. I never have to play it again either xD ..except when my band rehearses it in June.. <.<''

Its really bad. eye of the tiger is annoyin, but everyone else seems to be okay with it, and like it. they havnt heard the original song which is just as annoyin.

After The Love is Gone. Its too slow, which requires us to march slower. I'm ALWAYS off step when I play it.

I learned we'll be learning PEICES OF ME for marching band. xD You don't know how much this makes me cringe; its not like the band teacher likes it either I suspect because we're entertainers and we conform to the taste of the public but anyone with any taste in music will know this s**t is god awful. gonk

Notre Dame Victory March should be BURNED in the fires of HELL!
Well, it is quite a nice song. Simple enough with good range, but having to play it 20 times in one game = BAD.
We play it twice through every time to get a touchdown + coda-to-end if we get the extra point. [Also after every quarter...]
56 to 0 in the first quarter.
I wanted to shoot our DM.
