I wouldn't mind a good Darksiders RP . . . with humans all but gone and only remaining as remnants and mindless beasts, the war-torn worlds fighting with what remained of the White City's peoples and the dregs of Hell carving niches in the torn landscape . . .
Naturally the cannon characters would be out- like the Horsemen and chosen, but members of the Hellguard might be flying around as well as some more intelligent soldiers of the dark.

Another good series with post-apocalyse setting would be the Legacy of Kain series. Go into the far flung future, and you have a world that is dying, humanity huddled in their keep to stay away from the hordes of vampires, and the politics failing among the immortal ones as both the food supply dries up and as the clans evolve into such vastly different forms. The Dumahim once dominated, and are now little better than scavengers. The Melchiaim little better than mindless decaying ghouls. The Razielim thought to be extinct, but who can be sure? The Rahabim ruling the waterways like vampric mermen, and the Turelim psionic titans in their own right kept in check by having nearly none around.
I see much potential there. Of course, you could go for other time periods, like the humans versus humanlike vampires with the Sarafan wiping them out, or the decaying world as the pillars begin their decay.

Hope this isn't being pushy, but it's been several days since I posted my role play. You don't have to join if you don't like it, but I'd appreciate it if a couple people would check it out. Thanks~. ^w^

Oh, I get it. And I totally understand. I'm probably one of the few people in this guild without a life to do things other than role play on gaia. XD

I wouldn't go that far. It's just a guy and no longer seems to focus on role-playing anymore. This guild was created years ago to be a place where role players could, was open, and friendly. The trouble is, if nobody wants to role-play as heavily, then why bother coming tool guild based on multiple role-plays? It's just that this refuge has fallen on hard times not that we don't want to role-play, but there's not much to role-play about. The older people but still come here have very fond memories of this place, myself included.
On a personal note, using a dictation program is weird, but it may turned out to be a good time saver.

Blarg. Easter events. I swear they get more complicated every year. Or I'm turning into a grumpy old coot. "HEY YOU KIDS! GET OFF MY LAWN!"

Yeah, some of the first roleplays I've ever participated in were in here. Ialo and Cumulus were born in this guild, as were Samantha and her brothers - Robert, Chester, and Tim. I developed much of Ozzy's character and her backstory through bantering in-character with Zahzi in Dragon's Paradise Inn. I fleshed out some background characters in N.A.T.A's Red Stone Tavern. The first RP I ever set up died in here, along with many other stories that I've just sort of forgotten about.
