I haven't been around, and now I feel guilty. >.o;
Sigh.
I need a new video card. Mine's dated by now... but to do that, first I have to get a job and not be fired (again). And also, buy a new violin. My baby got cracked quite horribly through no fault of my own, and will never sound the same... I'll get her fixed, but only for sentimental purposes.
Yeah. Not feeling so great, really. ~_~

Because I clicked new post instead of edit and am too lazy to fix it, I'm posting again. Go me.
Have any of you have heard of/played "Skies of Arcadia" (DreamCast) or "Skies of Arcadia: Legends" (which is basically a port for the GCN of the first)? I think that I like the setting (flying boats, islands, and sky pirates!) enough to use it for an RP, but I'm not sure what I would do for a plot. >.<;
Either that, or a "Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean" type thing.
Of course, I wouldn't base them directly off of the games, since not everyone has played them, but I might borrow a few concepts. I especially like the cultures/island politics of BK...
OMG, BATEN KAITOS AIR PIRATES WITH WIIIINGS!

Right, inspiration struck and I will now write up island/continent descriptions.
I also have a plot. Suddenly. O_o;
And it will have pirates.
FLYING pirates.
... this might be one of the oddest serious RPs I've ever created.
I'm pretty sure I've effectively combined the two games. X_X

Hehe. Well, it'll end up having plenty of content... seeing as I'll need to explain a bunch of stuff.
Thing is, I rented the two at the same time. Plot-wise, it's more like Skies, setting-wise, it's Baten Kaitos, pre-ocean. XD
Now I need original pirate group name things. And a title for the RP ( gonk ). I have boat names, though. :3

I have a cool idea for mine. Mine also might be Latino. Dunno. Haven't tried something like that before. I'll have to ask Shazzy if Spanish exists in that world.
