lol...But I use the failures as trading fodder...
Plus, the unhatched eggs...I dunno if they're failures or not, so they could be some uber egg move babies with epic natures ^_^
only problem is, I dunno what's in the eggs anymore...>,<

Running into a released Pokemon would be weird.
Sort of like trading something on the GTS and seeing it up for trade a year later.

Yea I'll remember to write this crap down this time lol.
Also 1 more thing, lets say they hatch from the egg so you know lvl 1. I give them rare candy till lvl 20 then begin EV training, will starting the training at such a late lvl hurt their stats?
Also back in B/R/Y I was able to battle pokemon I released from my box. 3nodding
In these newer ones, I've yet to run into one.

No, when you give them rare candies, they raise the stats without taking into account the EV's.
So, to answer your question, no. It won't impact your EV training...What will happen after you're done EV training, is that you'll see bigger boosts to stats...Let's take for example my cousin's Metagross, he did the same thing, gave it rare candies until a certain level, and as he finished EV training, and leveled it up normally, he gained stat boosts of like +11...
