Katherine didn't feel shock at that information. She would have done better had she been armed but she fell beside Black as well. She looked over to him for a moment for his noise. She rasied her head. One hand was at her leg even though she was kneeled. She didn't look up at Matachi something else that was foolish. She could easily get them out of this but getting himself killed that was far from smart. He wouldn't listen to her though so she didn't speak.

"Tsk tsk tsk..." Karmine said, raising his hand to the air and turning his head to the side. The guard standing beside her knocked her upside the head with the hilt of his weapon. "I will execute you in the middle of the capital, but not before telling them how much of a monster you are. Then they will cheer as I kill you and we will have a new age in Llyr." He outlined, laughing when he finished.

Arem took a step towards Matachi, dismissing the presence of Karmine and picking up Matachi by a piece of his armor to making him stand. "You look pathetic right now, Matachi. I should execute you here and now, but the prospect I watching you fall apart in battle is too promising. Name the field of battle."

Suddenly, one of the guards hoisted Black up and brought him in front of Karmine, to which he was made to face Katherine. Karmine stood up and unsheathed his sword, holding it to Black's neck. "Would you really try and kill me now with your brother's life at stake? One stroke and his head comes clean off. Give up now."

((No one is in the tunnels... also to mention the archers and mages are on the walls outside the castle.))

Sekain had disrupted the chant by the death of a mage, and was now on the hunt for the rest, but he was difficult to keep up with as he was now enveloped by his powers, and was currently airbourne, spotting two more mages he went in to the kill.

All the archers and mages had turned their sights on Sekain. Each of them unleashing waves and volleys of arrows and magic.

Karmine on the other hand moved away simply from the knife, preferring to throw a random soldier in the way. As so, the vial shattered violently, a purple flame shot outwards, causing a decent group of soldiers to fly in a few directions. When the explosion settled, a bonfire of purple flame still burned there. Standing up, Karmine scoffed at Katherine. "You're such fool. KILL HER!" He shouted at the guards who began to encroach upon Katherine and Black now.

Before all the action had happened, Arem dragged Matachi through the halls and into the training grounds as the action finally started up in the next room. As soon as they made it out, he tossed him to ground. "Duel, the usual rules. One sword each. Forfeit equals death. I have yearned to claim Sky Tear."

Matachi smirks not having Sky Tear only holding the llyr sword "You'll find it in the door holding back a good amount of your soldiers." He smirks as he stands up. "If I win you will die and before you die I will drag your dieing corpse to them to announce who is in control, Katherine." He says to him as he brings the llyr blade in front of him. He wasn't worried about Katherine he knew she could handle those guards.

"No matter..." Arem said with a grin as he held up his sword. "Battle stance first Matachi. That's a good boy." He said, standing in stance himself. "I expect a good fight out of you... and may the best swordsman win." He said before charging forward. Just as fast as any other skilled swordsman, he brought his sword down hard at Matachi.

In the meanwhile, Karmine had simply disappeared from the scene. His soldiers however gave chase with Katherine and Black.

Black looked at Katherine as she dragged him along. "WHOA! You're strong when you want to be." He said as they kept going. "Yeah, I'm fine. I had a plan against him, but there it goes."

On the outside, a large group kept up their assault on Sekain while another engaged the other troops. There would be another meteor assault if they couldn't find the other mages.

Katherine gave a flash of a smile. They were running upstairs she waved for him to stop as she headed back down. Black wouold hear a man scream and a loud crash. Katherine was then soon back at his side. "I couldn't just sit still and watch that happen." She opened the door to her room. She went into it and took her sword belt putting it on. "Listen I have a plan for this. We are going to seal off the castle. Sek is takeing out the mages. All there leaders are here in the castle i am going to destroy it. Make them fight on open ground with us where we out number them."
