Alexander Magnus welian I'm not really into vampire fiction, I much prefer dragons. I love you for saying that. And I love you.

WELL, were it a case in reality, get a reasonable amount of crude oil and a match...
Magical..? I'd say something along the lines of the same use of oil with whatever fire magic...I don't even know what the hell I'm saying for this part. XD

Electric Kool-Aid welian What do I need to set a river on fire? See: Cleveland in the 1960's. This. This river goes through my town, though where it actually burned is up in the city, near where it meets the lake. Ah, famous local history. I also live in the town where college students were shot by National Guardsmen in 1970. Aaaaaand now you all know where I live lulz

My bf is from Cleveland. Also, Great Lakes Brewery (good beer) has a pale ale named after the event (Burning River). Mmm mmm.

Great Lakes Brewery is awesome. Their Christmas Ale is legendary around here. It sells out in stores weeks before Christmas, though you can usually still find it on tap. Mmmmmm.

I did D&D once upon a lifetime. Spent far more in the rather heady system of Palladium Fantasy. Now I had some damned epic times there. For magic, most were bad rolls that summoned up demons, turned our mage blue for 6 months, and then the time (while still blue) he turned himself into a moose for a week.
yes, a blue moose.

I'm starting a Shadowrun game tonight. Never done any games before, but my sister and her bf (who is running it) have done them for years and years and have talked about them often. They finally convinced me to try it out. I am a cybernetic geek who can leap up to a third story window, hang upside down from the ceiling, and have two guns stored my thighs. I am 75% metal and my legs transform from normal human legs to faster animal-shaped ones, plus I have a retractable metal balancing tail. I can see in the dark, record what I hear and plug a camcorder into my brain. I have groscopes that pop out of my wrists that let me shoot better.
