*Clever closed her eyes again and sighed. Akito made her feel good, she wished she wasn't tired and dizzy or else she might have to pounce him. She smiled and put her hands on one of his knees.*

Zac looked down at her outfit. At the time she had bought it she thought it was nice, now it was just more clothes she'd have to squeeze into her closet when she got home. She already had an old room in the house converted into a closet, and even now that was to small for all her stuff. If Zac was addicted to anything it was clothes.
Thanks. I'll need to find a place back home to put all my clothes when I get back...if I get back..
She muttered this last part to herself, as she looked at Hikaru sheepishly, wondering if he could tell she was the kind of girl who loved to shop.
A nice dip in the pool is always fun. I think I saw Akito with Clever when I came down this way in the main tavern, but I didn't stop to talk to them.

*Akito smiled softly when Clever spoke. This made him feel good. He looked down at Clever still, looking over the soft feature of her face. He brought his fingers to her soft skin, running them gently along her cheek. He felt the same tingle from before when she touched his leg.*

*Hikaru smiled when Zac talked about her clothes, although he sensed a hint of uncertainty when she mentioned returning home. He wondered if she really had plans to go back home, as he knew he didn't. He also wondered how much clothes she must have if she had to worry about finding room for this outfit. Apparently she was a shopper. When she mentioned seeing Akito and Clever his heart sank. Were they just talking? Or was there something more there? He still didn't know how Akito felt about Clever, if he felt anything at all.*
Oh...were they...just talking?
*Hikaru was obviously a bit saddened by this subject, and it stopped him from walking any closer to the doorway.*

*Clever smiled, her cheeks felt hot as she blushed. She wanted to do something that would make Akito feel just a special as she did but it would have to wait til when she felt better, for now though she sat up and kissed him gently on the lips; savoring how soft they were.*

I think so, but I can't be to sure. I didn't rally pay that much attention.
Zac could now feel that same pain in his soul that she had felt the night before, and wondered if something to do with Akito and Clever had trigued his hurt, especially when he stopped moving towards the door, his words uncertain.
Hikaru.....did something happen with Akito and Clever? You feel awefully sad.

*Akito blushed when Clever said this to him. He really didn't think he was anything special. He tried to say something, but felt Clever's lips against his before he could. He wrapped his arms around her gently as he kissed her back softly. He felt a bit of excitement in his body and mind as their lips met. When he pulled away he smiled and his eyes sparkled with delight.*

Well, I don't know really, heh...If something does happen, I'll certainly feel sad...but right now, the only person that is on my mind is Clever.
*He sighed softly and slipped his hands in his jacket pockets. He wanted to go out there and get something to drink, but he was frozen with fear, convinced he would see something that would break his heart.*

Zac moved back towards the door to the pool room and leaned against the wall looking Hikaru over. So this was the sourc of his pain, he had a broken heart. She should have known, as it always felt the same in the past, the reason why she had tried so hard to block it out.
You really liked her didn't you. What happened?

*Hikaru thought about what Zac said. Yes, he had really liked Clever, and he still did. He stopped just thinking and started speaking, facing Zac but not really looking at her as he spoke.*
...She was just different...and I liked her, enough to be with only her...and then I told her, and it wasn't what she wanted...in fact, despite the fact that she had at one point really liked me, she didn't want me at all...She...wants Akito, not me. I lost her, to my own friend.
*He shook his head and sighed, clenching his fists in his pockets.*
I'm not mad though...not at Akito either, I know he didn't do anything...but it just...hurts...and I'm sick of feeling hurt...I avoided it for so long, and then I feel right into twice, back to back...I should have just stayed the way I always was...

Zac sighed to herself softly. It was at times likes these that she wished she knew how to help better. Never haven been in this situation it was hard to relate, but she tried as best she could.
To say I know how you feel would be a lie. I've never been in this situation, because well it's like I mentioned before...
She didn't feel there was a need to repeat what she had already told him about her not being able to love, and so didn't.
I'm sorry you're hurt, and that things didn't turn out the way you wanted. But hiding behind being a flurt won't keep you from getting hurt, it'll keep you from experiencing life to the fullest. I find that if something doesn't go right it's best to analyze the situation, learn from it, and move on, taking what you've learned.....
Her voice kind of faded out then, as she didn't know if what she was saying was the right thing to say and rather Hikaru was getting her at all.

*Hikaru nodded at Zac's words, he remembered what she had said about not being able to love. He understood what she was trying to say, but he wasn't so sure. At this point, he was thinking that going back to the way he used to be might be for the best. He shrugged and looked at her with a smile. She was very nice, and he appreciated that. He moved over to her and gave her a gentle hug.*
