Haha.
Actually they're more common than you'd think. A lot of old accounts that've been abandoned end up as broken images too.
But my guess is most of them aren't as active on gaia as I am. (Though most of my activity is in this guild...)
My original reason for not changing my avatar was because a gaia announcement implied they would 'refresh' all avatars that hadn't changed to go to the new avatar system, so I decided to wait for that to happen...
And I'm still waiting. XD
