I don't suppose anyone in here would mind populating my magic school RP in the Barton forums with students for a school-wide tourney? Granted, teachers are accepted too, but what I really need are some girls walking around....

I take too long to respond in RPs as it is, so I think I'm a little slow for Barton Town stuff. XD Otherwise I would.
You know, Ruined could just join up with Thought and the Nightmares, probably.

I find Alchemy utterly frustrating.
On one hand, they FINALLY offer full-scale wings to us, but on the other, you have to spend absurd amounts of gold to get anything at all. I tried getting one formula, and found I needed three angel imp potions, at 30K+ a pop as material components . . . and that was level freakin 1.
Just another thing I will always want, but never have. crying

It sounds fun in concept though. And they give you that nice little starter recipe to make a silly little item, and you're like 'oh good, a way to get rid of all the things I get from the daily chance!'
But no. They have no other recipes that give you something not so stellar that use mostly things you have in your inventory. Instead, they use SUPER EXPENSIVE items, and lots of them, for the CHANCE to make a recolor or something that's cool (or at least different. Some of the items didn't seem too interesting). And I bet if you fail you get nothing and you've wasted tons of time and gold.
Obviously they needed this gold dump, as there seem to be plenty of alchemized items in the Marketplace already.
I, for one, will treat this like the random item boxes and not partake, unless they add some more fun but less spendy options.
