I introduced myself once before somewhere in the confines of this guild, but I've been gone for quite some time.
So, for a second time, hello! Nice to be here again. I've assembled a rather new avatar for the occasion after a long time of saving up, so hopefully it fits the occasion of my second first arrival, haha.
Erm, I've been into steampunk for quite some time now. I'm 18 now, so I'd say I've been into the genre since I was 11 or 12, actually.
Hopefully I'll be able to post here and be active as opposed to last time.

I'm not really sure how long I've been into steampunk, but I've always loved the style. Plus, isn't the thought of sailing in an airship just wonderful?

Hello all. I'm not sure if I've introduced myself or not. My name is Yuuki Belmonte. You my call me Yuuki, Yuukz, Drake, or Monty. I think my first real "steampunk" love was with Jules Verne's works. I became facinated with how the Nautilus was designed. I came upon works such as Howl's Moving Castle, and eventually found the term "Steampunk" while researching. Now you've got me as I am today! ^_Q

Greetings! I am Captain Amadeo Allen Algeddon! You may call me Algeddon, or maybe Amadeo for more casual conversations. I run the airship the HMS Grommet Airship. It is a flying mechanic ship/garage. I take pride in my work there, and even have recently learned a few tricks to makin' steam powered trot-bots! I've got me a proto type down below if ye want to see it? Anyways, I've been into steampunk ever since I was young I know. Can't remember the exact age I discovered it, but mostly I love the machines, the gadgets, and the clothing styles. Hmm, that covers most of the genre I believe.... And I've always liked pirates. Throw those together, and you get me! I hope to do steampunk clothing later in life, but for now I'll stick to paying others to do so until I learn me some of the skills necessary to carry on myself. So, the only thing I forgot is that I'm new to this guild, and that otherwise didn't really need mentioning.... Well, I'll stop here before this blather continues on any further, and good day to you all!

I'm not quite sure if I am well remembered or not, but I do believe I have posted here before. But allow me to re-introduce myself.
My name is Alexa Jordan Tailen, or just AJ for short, and I join a ways back hen I was just a wee little kit to Steampunk. But now I have matured to become the Full Fledged Forum Fox I am. May your steam stay hot!

Hi! I'm Krysta and I'm an English major; which sort of goes with the idea that I'm a cultural movement junkie. As a child, my mom often dressed me up in Victorian fashions (along with my little brother and sister) and often has Victorian-esque stuff decorating the house (especially for xmas). So, I think my mom got me interested in this all this sort of stuff (steampunk, Victorian) firstly, secondly would have to be 'Wild Wild West' with Will Smith (I know, pretty terrible movie, but the fashion and props were great). I'd love to learn more about the origins of the cultural movement as well as any new manifestations of it or offshoots. That's why I'm here.

Hi all,
You may drop the "The" from my SN and simply call me Gimps, or shorten it even further and call me "TG". I've been known to answer to other things as well such as "Bro", "Dude", and "Hey you". Any of those works.
So a few months ago I was on some random forum and saw the term "Steampunk" for about the billionth time and thought to myself "Self, what is Steampunk?" Since I'd seen the word for years. Well I looked it up and realized I've loved it all along and just last week came across this guild much to my delight.
I've been alive more than 2 decades, am in college aiming for a double major in English and Psych, and if I live long enough at the pace I'm going, a minor in World History as well. I love forums, I love writing, I love RPing. I'm fairly new to Gaia and haven't gotten around to doing up my profile all nice and pretty yet but I shall and then you'll be able to learn so many other things about my boring self, though I'm not sure why you'd want to. Anyway, I'm here to make friends. I look forward to jumping into the discussions here and meeting you all.

Ello, I am Elcia and I have just recently joined this guild.
I have also rather recently found myself perfectly suited to the Steampunk genre. It was one of those realizations that I had been in love with it all a long yet had never know of it's existence.
So I am pretty much a greenhorn in the field but I am genuinely eager to learn.

Hello, everyone! I'm Greenie, I joined today. I am an 18-year-old university freshman. I am majoring English and I am working towards teaching certification, as well as a minor in Women and Gender's studies.
Honestly, I have been interested in Steampunk for only four years or so, so to some of the vets here, I'm still a new kid to the genre. However I am quite the ambitious lady as I am about five chapters into a novel set in a Steampunk/Alternate History setting. I hope to find inspiration here for the story.

Haha, well, hello. I joined in... January, I believe, but I just now worked up the courage to introduce myself. I'm Margaret. Or Bin. Whatever you would like to call me. xD
I just realised not so long ago that I like Steampunk. I've been fascinated with the Victorian and Edwardian eras for quite some time, but it took a little nudge from a friend to get me interested in Steampunk.
Unfortunately, it's difficult for me to get my head around the workings of machines, so I'm rather clueless when the situation for inventing something new for my stories (settings, really, but still). Nevertheless, I hope that the more I expose myself to Steampunk, the better I can pick up on things!
I'm very pleased to be here. Even if I am shy, I like to chat, so feel welcome to drop a PM or comment. :3
