Lord over Pawns As Xeen began to penetrate the barest outset of her mind, he felt a sudden wave of cold was over his mind as it was forced back from Erica's. "You need not waste your will-power on her, Xeen Soltari. You will need all of it you can get." A dark, sinister voice called out to him. Time stopped for Xeen Soltari, his eyes unable to move as they stared into Erica's unconcious face. "Xeen Soltari....U'Daria is not gone....it is returning for you, it's most prized possesion." The voice purred, full of malice. Xeen's world was swept away as he saw back to when he was ruled by U'Daria, the stone around his neck. "Promise your legience to me when the time comes, Xeen Soltari, and I will grant you immunity from U'Daria's thrall. I will give you the power to prevent him from reclaiming you. "Do you agree to my terms?" Xeen was speechless, his blood ran cold and his stomache drop out, his breath caught in his throat. This was the one thing that, above all else he feared, the dread stone returning for him as this voice had shown him. "Y-Yes... An-Anyt-Anything to stop this... Please..." He replied, his voice choked with fear and loathing.

The voice disappeared as Xeen was unfrozen.

((It would be rather interesing If Lord were to give one of these run ins with Pulse....I would be surprised if he could even find anything to use even XD))

Umbra saw Baranar walking away, looking quite flustered. He went to where Xeen and Sufference were to check things out. When he saw Sufference, he broke into a run, and stopped in front of Xeen, a worried look on his face.

Erica blinked awake a moment later. Xeen by her bed, was looking frightened and ill. "Xeen?"

"Damnit," Erica stumbled off the bed and walked over to him, checking his eyes, and putting a hand on his forehead. As she touched him a rush of fear and loathing rushed into her body. She was forced to break the contact and step back. "Umbra...I don''t know what''s happening." A lost look was on her face.

Umbra approached Xeen, and looked closely into his eyes. He paused for a second, and then sent a tiny psychic blast into Xeen's brain, hoping to give it a jumpstart.

He replied, his voice heated as he rose, walking from the room, a pronounced air of hatred around him.

"Xeen.." Erica called out, but he had already left. She sank down to the floor and leaned against the foot of her bed. She felt the baby kick, and quiet sob came from her throat.

As he walked from the HQ, he raised his hand signaling the Dreadnought to him, and set off into Haven. A certain homocidal rage had welled up in him, and he had every intent of sating it.
