Silly Genji Dragon Sneeze Silly Genji Dragon Sneeze Silly Genji A tree rose up taking the full brunt of the attack, as the bag hit it, the tree slowly decayed and died. Mokuhakai was angered by this and swung his arm horizontally, hoping to break her arm.
* * *
"Ion isn't in danger..." Shinji stopped in his tracks when he caught sight of Ion. "Yohiro... Chiyo's here." The branch hit Ifuuki snapping her arm like a twig. Using the forward momentum, she rolled over it and tossed three more scalpel and a second bag at Mokuhskai's face. ~~~ There was silence over the com until Sabu spoke again. "Then Ifuuki is here. Take Chiyo out if the need arises, but stick with the plan. Find Ifuuki and lead her here." His voice sounded strained. Mokohakai had the dying tree grow an extra branch that stopped the bag and the scalpels, save for one. Once scalpel chipped the edge of a branch which diverted it's original flight path, but dug itself into Mokuhakai's shoulder all the same. He screamed in agony. * * * Shinji was silent for a while to think about what his team-leader just said. That was a direct order he couldn't disobey even if he or Sabu wanted to. "Yes, sir," he said as he crept onto the battle field. Ifuuki flipped over the branch and came down on Mokohakai heavily. "Why don't you come back to me? Yinko-chan misses you." She said evily. Sakurai's feral experssional melted away into the look of defeat. And just below, "Ganeni, the plan! Knock out the girl on the crane, take her somewhere safe." And with that he swooped up the distorted tree flipped up onto the platform and slammed a fist into Ifuuki's mouth. Ifuuki flew back and bounced off of a brach violently. She stood, blood flowing from her nose. Her arm had reset and she used it to feel her face. "You. You're a Hyuuga aren't you?"

Rio, Akira and Issui had watched the unfolding circus of mayhem that was the ninja battling. Akira's summons had been out watching for signs of trouble and had alerted the trio to the hysteria through Akira. They had not been able to get to Ifuuki before the tree had grown, but had watched Ion escape, pursued by a lady on a crane summon.
"Akira, if you would," Rio said as they moved to intercept the woman before she could get to Ion. They arrived just as she taunted Ion and Akira landed, bitting his thumb, summoning a lizard in a large plume of smoke. This one looked more like a dragon than a salamander, but was still very much a lizard. It was decked in samurai armor and carried one large O-naginata, slung over it's back, the lizard itself about the size of a lion.
"Time for the birdie to get it's wings clipped," Akira said as Rio and Issui took positions around Chiyo and her crane, Rio facing her as Akira drew his swords and Issui looked ready to perform a quick string of seals.
"I think you might want to reconsider your interest in Atehameru-san lady," said Rio as his hand ran along the shaft of his large, double-sided kwan-do, though it was still in it's wrappings. "Or we'll have to change your mind for you, and Akira's lizards like fried bird."

Then he walked up to Ion, picking him up and threw him over his shoulder. "Hey let me go!" Ion yelled kicked and punching around. "STOP IT KID!" Ganeni yelled back " It's not safe for you here!" And with that he went after Shinji

"Well that changes this a little bit," Rio said as the enormous hippo appear. The cat was another obstacle, but a human sized one. "Akira, leave the cat to your summon, he's one of your fastest, even with that giant sword over its shoulders. We need to team up on the big guy."
"Makes you wish pops had signed you up with the alligators doesn't it?" Issui said with a smile, they all knew what he was talking about, more than half the summons they had seen come from Onryou were as large as two houses, at least. Still, they had been taught on how to bring down foes larger than themselves.
With a signal they started in unison, each making a string of hand seals.
"Doton: Kamizori Sento no Jutsu!" Rio said as he smacked the ground with his hands, an invisible flow of chakra from the Tomo Tree at his waist super charging the move to create much larger spikes of stone of diamonds to appear in a circle around the giant hippo. The spikes stopped just short of hitting the large animal as Issui and Akira finsihed their hand seals.
"Suiton: Takisusedan," Issui said as water from one of his flasks and from a sewers in the streets below mixed int he middle of the air before turning into a spiral that aimed itself at the hippo's feet.
"Katon: Hotaru Unshuu!" Akira said as he breathed many glowing orbs that flew out and circled around the hippo, weaving around the spires left by Rio's jutsu.
Their plan was a simple one, the water attack was meant to put the hippo off balance or at least slip, then the fire attack would explode, sending shrapnel from the earth jutsu into the hippo, and causing the large creature to fall on the remaining spires, skewering it.
At least that is what they hoped would happen.

Then from the depths came an enormous torrent of water, enough that any person would mistake it for an exploding dam. An unprepared person would drown in an instant. Shizami drew his knife and padded up to his opponent backwards, still blindfolded. With lightning speed he slashed behind him at the summon.

Just as the water came down on them, Rio, with Akira right behind him, used Issui's shoulders as stepping stones and jumped up, beyond the water. Issui would he fine, there was no such thing as too much water for an Ookawa. While still in the air Rio grabbed Akira by the arms and chucked him as hard as he could in the air just before they began to fall, aiming just above the summon's large head. Thankfully for them, Akira's fire jutsu had exploded when the water had made contact with it, causing a large cloud of smoke and mist to erupt in a ring around Goto, hiding Akira's approach. Akira's summon did a quick clock wise flip that landed him on top of the flat side of the blade that had just tried to cut him, he did so in a flash. Then, still using the momentum of his spin, the lizard whipped the naginata around, aiming to cut strait through cat, the chest level as he said, "sssss, Travel well foe."

Shinji span around and threw a kunai at her and continued running. The kunai stuck in her chest. Yanking it out she threw it down on continued on unfazed. "You should know that doesn't work!" She pulled out ten scalpels and flung them in Shinji's direction.
