Eilynne was quiet for a long moment and then she turned and met the dragonlord face to...well technically about stomach but she did look up. "I trust all creatures, large and small, but in varying amounts. Some have my complete trust for they have earned it. Hunter has only that given to a created being, that is why I did not send him alone." She followed behind him and fiddled with one her star clips. "If two on your guard are having problems with each other, what do you do to calm tempers and engender brotherhood?"
"I suppose. Alright then, what precisely do we need to get?" She followed along behind Savvy, heading down to take a look at the lower decks of the ship. "Is Hunter's crew going to be going with us? I really didn't like the looks of more than half of them. Wandering eyes and searching fingers."

Her elbow scar, case in point enough. She was a funny one for sure, that Jae. Always literally head over heels but stayed optimistic through it all. "I hope the sandstorms don't cover it all up again. That would be a pity..." Though a blink down at her actions for a moment until he understood what the purpose of her stripping was. "Oh... good idea..." Picking up the wrapped book in his arms but looking back to her. "I'll wash it and return it to you as soon as possible." Well, she had just sacrificed her own clothing for his interests. That was interesting and appreciated. "Do you want to go back now?"

"Wise decisions." Continuing in his strides, arms tucked under his wings and behind his back. A glance thrown at the body of water that had now become a whirlpool, watching Guard members taking care of the orders that had been given them. A look back to Eilynne though. "Usually? Make them spend time together until they annoy each other enough to work it out verbally, knowing that if they raise arms or hands to each other, they have to deal with me. I can be very unforgiving if motivated right." Nodding his head to that and then clearing his throat as they made thier way up to the tower. "I've had some maps prepared for your journey as well, so you don't have to waste time searching places that we have already looked."
"Well, we need to get our clothes, I need my weapons, we need to call our horses and all. We should stock on anything we know we're going to need. I think supply runs back to this place may be rather few and far between, and whomever is sent will only bring back the essentials." Turning a look back to her friend, even if she couldn't really see her. "Need them to run the ship, so yes they weill be. Don't worry, I've dealt with men and such like this before. I'll make sure you're perfectly safe when you take reverie. I'll either stay up and guard you myself, or I'll leave a fun boney guard puppy." Of course anyone who knew Savvy knew that 'guard puppy' tranlated into 'skeletal dire wolf'.
"Winds have been in a steady direction lately, I'm sure it will be fine for a good few months of exploration by yourself." Nodding to him as he picked up the book. "Take your time, it's not like it crucial to my life." Though then a giggle at him. "We might as well before we find more things to take home and I find myself naked." Walking over to stand under the shaft of light from the hole they had used to enter. "Should we climb back up or just hold our breaths and fly out?" All that dust, bleck.

He cracked a smile at the prospect of more adventures in the old city but then glanced over at her. "You should come too." He nodded but decided that it would still be best to get the wrap back to her soon. Clothing was an important personal possession, at least it was to him. He had most of his custom designed and made. Shifting the book in his hand, he followed her to the hole in the roof and squinted upwards. "Flying would be the most efficient way, I think. You go ahead." Thus ducking his head to shade his face from the sand, he let her fly up and then went himself.

"That an invitation? Just tell me when you're going and I'd be glad to come." Giving him a smile then a nod at the decision, making sure that he was protected before taking off and heading back out, breathing in the nice fresh air. That place was kinda stifling if you weren't ready for it. She stayed put where he was until she joined him so both could flip direction and start heading back. "See, you spend the day with me and you get fun little things to bring back home. And nothing bad happened."

"They do not call my kind wise for nothing Lord Lycear." She listened to him and then nodded, "Which is exactly what I have done. If either of them comes back speaking of the other's actions in an unfavorable light, they will be punished. Punishments are typically harsh where I come from, meant to break both the mind and the body of disobedience. They will not disobey again." She glanced around, watching the guards and nodded. Lycear had been a good leader of this city for more years than she could count. "Maps? Oh thank you Lord Lycear. You have gone to so much trouble for me but it is very much appreciated."
"I don't know if I like the thought of bringing Spyrit on board though Savvy. She's not used to dragons for one thing and..." A glance around. "What if someone tries to steal her?" She followed along behind her heading off the ship to go back to Kaz's house. "I'd prefer you use the puppy, you need your reverie as well." She laughed for a moment. "Or maybe I'll just bring Sundance. She looks like a good guard dog, doesn't she?"

of course, Sundance was at Hunter's feet, having a nice little note secured to her near invisible collar to scamper back off, and looking over at Kronos.
"Correction. As of your involvement, your serving on my ship. while the dragon lord and the little girl have authority bound only by my grace to grant them passage in return for potential vast sums, you are not. you came of free will, and as such, just like those elves, yer part of the crew far as I'm concerned."
then a small smirk.
"you may have been born in the sand, but I was breathing it since the day I was left to rot in it. I know her moods as any sailor knows the ocean. As for the city...I know enough to know that some of these things are of human origin, and the wheres and hows to get them as fresh and discretely as possible."
casually flinging a knife behind him as he turned around, it he caught it, fine, if not, it at least would land at his foot with a thunk..and attached to it was the list.
"the plants I'll let you deal with. I'll get the fleshy stuff."

It was very nice to be able to breathe fresh air again. Even a few minutes in the temple, breathing in sand and dust was irritating his lungs. He certainly would have to think of some solution to that if he was planning on exploring more down there. "So I did." A pleased look at her. "If every trip was so full of fun and surprises, we will have to do this more often." Then unfolding his wings and beckoning her to follow, he leaped gracefully into the air and started in the direction they had come. "Are you staying for dinner tonight?"

"What a shame that the sand did not finish its job, it would have the world a better place." Kronos caught the knife easily enough, scanning the list he knew where he had to go. "Try to hurry pirate, I don't like to be kept waiting. And remember I will be watching you." he laughed as he summoned his board once more and rising over the head of the pirate, slamming s much energy as he could into the board he exploded into the city, the large wall of wind generated by his movements moved towards hunter, along with a large amount of sand, "You should remember that smell fondly methinks." he laughed as he vanished into the maze of city streets.

"I see your point. There is no need for unrest among those that are supposed to be working together. It is common these days though I'm afraid." Sighing lightly before giving another nod to her, holding the door open for her as they reached the tower and took the stairs. "They are in my study, I thought it best that you were prepaired as possible. It is our folly that the Orb was stolen in the first place, I feel we should make you aid in this as easy as possible."
"Mom's horses are smart, you know they won't let someone get them if they don't want to be caught. Besides, maybe if they can keep up with the ship, we can ride instead of handing around a pest infested group of humans whom may be giving rather lusty looks and such our ways." Following the other elf back across alternate routes back to the dragon lord's home. "Except she could get hurt. Undead things take away that fear about them, you can't kill or hurt what's already dead."
"Oh come now, you know that every trip with me can be like that. Something is always bound to happen with me around." Another melodic laugh before following him him from the roof and then she made a twirl in the air and then continued to follow him, see how well he knew the way back from how they got here. A blink at him then a smile and a nod. "If you are inviting me, then I'd be glad to take the invitation." Working ahead of him a little to give direction back to Ilindal instead of the ice caves."

Hunter didn't even so much as narrow his eyes at the sand and wind. that boy was going to get his. and he hoped that he got to do it...or at least be there when it happened. but on with his part of the buisness. so backalleys and dark places. maybe thirty minutes passed, hunter now in possession of a small trunk, and a mutilated body at his feet being eaten away at by the 'stray' dogs. in the trunk of course were the required fleshy bits and pieces form teh donor laying at his feet while he cleaned his cutlass off.
Of course, as far as the law might be concerned, if they even found a remains...it was self defense. take one poor, miserable drunk, edge and aggravate him on to murderous intent, and then pit him against a sober, well seasoned killer. first swing to the drunk, second decapitating swing to the non-drunk. assault with a deadly weapon returned in kind...just not his fault the one that swung first was way outclassed when sober, and not even worth the spit on the ground drunk.
So picking up his prize, and whistling lightly while sheathing his cutlass and heading back to his ship.

There was more than just a grain of salt in her words. True, she was always the spontaneous and happy go-lucky one. Surprises up every sleeve and sometimes, she had a lot of those, and pockets too. "I'm inviting you, Jae." He did get confused a few times along the way back but she directed him in the right direction again and soon the city's tall walls were in view. One sweep of his eyes across them told him that the guards stationed there were short quite a number for a shift around this time. Swooping in and landing, he quickly asked one of the nearby humans. "Where are the others?"

"Yes, there will be many tests during this journey that will involve the possibility of trusting another to keep them safe and alive. I need them to be able to do so without a qualm. We are in for a long and arduous search because I do not intend to rest until the gift is back where it belongs, either in my realm or yours." She passed through the door and then stopped for a moment.
"Folly is not to be placed on any, Lord Lycear. There are other powers at work here though of their intent I'm not quite sure. Hunter thought he knew what I was looking for but he was far off. I choose not to tell you either at least for now." She entered into his study and took a seat, waiting for the maps to be handed to her. "These will cover all of the ground in it's entirety. How much land do they cover and how up to date are they?"
"My mom's too, you know." Laughing and nudging her friend slighlty. "But yes they are and Spyrit is what her name implies. She would chew any of their legs off. It only worried me because others have tried to steal her before." She blinked for a moment and then grinned, "I'm sure they probably could. And they'd be much happier than cooped up on the ship all day. Of course all we have to do is call them from where they are during the day and have them roost with us at night as well. Either works." Entering Kaz's house, she headed up to her room and gathered together her clothes and such. "We need to get supplies from the city or did you put them all on your list?"

Kronos laughed to himself as he stood in the middle of a garden in which was seaching for some of the things that were on the list. He had left the last one, which was a little dangerous until the last possible moment. "I can't believe the idiot fell for it. That's was too easy, just bruise his ego a bit and you're done." he smiled as he sat on the floor for a second and began to chat, his hands placed together in a strange triangular shape. Kronos had been pushing the pirate the moment he had the opportunity, it was true that Kronos was not fond of pirates so it wasn't that hard of an act to pull, but it was all an act. All he wanted to do was have an excuse to blow sand in his face. And Kronos knew what kind of man Hunter was, not the kind to squint, not at all.
Kronos smiled once again, as a silver ball of energy began to take shape in between his hands. You see sand wasn't the only thing that Kronos had thrown in Hunter's face, but a magically potent powder, which would when absorb through the eye would allow Kronos to see what Hunter saw and the best part, he could store it, and replay it later. "Who's controlling who?" he laughed, you see the dust had another power, Kronos could momentarily gain control of Hunter's body if need be. As long Hunter didn't blink or squint while the dust was being absorbed, Hunter was so easy to play.
The sphere of magic in his hands formed into a silver eye, cuping it one hand, Kronos quickly stuck into his forehead and for a moment he had three eyes, until the third hid once more. The last and greatest thing about this spell? Because the catalyst was so small Hunter wouldn't never know it was there, until it was too late.
"Just one more item to get" he laughed as he made his way out of the shop.

"Good then, because I'm probably not going to be invited to master's table tonight. He does that when I 'act up.' " Quoting the air at that but then seemingly letting the fact roll off her back like water on a duck. Though as they neared the city...it was easy to see things were different. Wrong in a sense. Landing next to him, she happened to catch what he was told by a human about the strange whirl pool and the plans that his father has set forth and ordered.
Suddenly she didn't feel so well, turning a half guilty look to Kaz. She had promised him that nothign bad was going to happen while they were gone...why did fate conspire against her? She had a funny feeling that he wasn't going to have a good reaction to this.
Moving to his desk and gathering up maps as she sat down, he put them in a satchel before handing the whole thing over to her. Seemed that he was still not privy to what information she had. But he supposed that she was holding off for good reasons. "They are up to date as of last night, I sent the apprentice strategist who happens to be our best cartographer out to make sure they were. They entend for a good few miles...Ever since the storms, keeping track of things is hard, what with the shifting sand all the time."
"usually horses with fangs will scare a human off anyway. They don't like things with sharp teeth trying to eat them. But yup, they're good horses who can take care of theirselves, besides you know how they like to tear up the land...they'd want to try and race the ship as well as keep pace with it. Good exercise for them too." But up to the room they had been offered, making sure to grab everything that hse was needed, Chylithair helping out some in his own falcony way. "Anything personal for us we need to pick up ourselves. We probably won't leave till a day or so."
