In the city build view, click on the embassy to enter it. It should give you a couple of additional options besides just upgrading the embassy. One of those options is probably Arcadian's invitation to you. Keep in mind, there are quite a few buildings that work this way, that need to be entered to use some of their abilities. Marketplace, Palace/Residence, Academy and so forth.

...and now I can build an army TWICE the size of what I currently have. TO ARMS MY MEN! (and their neighbors, relatives, children, unborn children, distant cousins, friends, enemies, acquantances, local merchants, nearby mercenaries, small mammals, mythical creatures, pieces of paper, and origami figurines.)

So... I've had an invitation to join an alliance. So at least I know my embassy is working and functional. sweatdrop Pity it's from LOH.

And he may be the biggest player in his puny alliance, but he is still alot smaller than our larger players and his alliance doesn't have any linked alliances. talk2hand Unless he is stupid, he is likely bluffing. (Though I would avoid his villages. Ouch. stressed ) Also I can send you some extra defenders if you like, just in case.

Nah. I am just going to send my measly few people over to Balc, and try and level up my stone mason over the next 17 hours. If he continues to be a pain, then maybe, but I am sure his alliance leader won't care if he sends a one-time (okay, four-time) attack against a smaller member. (Ring, our ally, has an NAP with Drunks. We sadly do not.)
If he tries to start a guild war or anything stupid, then his alliance leader might be contacted to bring him back in line.
