He saw Yuki hugging Chris too.

Chris wiped the tears from his eyes and looked at Alex.
"And now he's coming back..
I don't know why or how, but he'll be here tomorrow."
He covered his face with his hands, shaking from fear.

Yuki had no idea what was going on. What did Alex do to Chris? Who was coming?

More tears welled up in his eyes as he leaned against Alex for comfort, shaking out of fear and shivering from the cold that ran through him.
"Of course he has to reappear now..
Right when it's almost been a decade past, on my birthday of any other days, too.."

Drakul smiled a little at Alex, feeling safer now.
He looked at Yuki before wiping the tears out of his eyes.
"Ask Alex..
I don't feel like remembering it anymore."

"The person that turned Chris into a vampire is on his way here. We can feel him coming." Alex said to Yuki.
Yuki nodded at Alex and frowned.
"I'll be ready when he comes..."

Drakul shuddered, still shivering.
"I need a blanket.."

Alex grabbed the blanket that Drakul brought down earlier and wrapped it around the boy's shoulders. "I'll make sure you don't see him. Try to rest. I'm here. I'll protect you."

Chris nodded and smiled softly before laying his head against Alex, closing his eyes again.
He fell asleep again with Alex and Yuki next to him the whole night.
He kept having flashbacks of the night of his birthday ten years ago, wishing he could sleep peacefully, until he finally did.

Alex stood awake. Chris was sleeping in his lap and Yuki's head was resting on his shoulder.
He didn't want to let his guard down. The person that haunted Chris' dreams was getting closer and closer. He would be ready for him.

Chris woke up the next day, still laying in Alex's lap.
He lifted his head and looked to the door, making sure he wasn't here yet.
"He'll be here today..
Later.."
He laid his head back down, trying to go back to sleep, but he couldn't.
He lay there, waiting for the time to come that he would see the person who ruined his life once more.

"I'll be ready for him..." Alex growled and ran his hand through Chris' hair.
He was a bit worried about Yuki. He was the only human around as far as Alex knew. He would make a nice snack to a hungry vampire.
