Picking his way through the rubble, Focht stops and helps the citizens move one of the larger chunks of a building blocking a doorway. Finishing with that, he continues roaming.

Shadow arose outside the town still in his form as the dark man. He walked non-chalantly towards the wall even as he was hailed by a defender. He listened to this hail before yelling. I'm here to kill all that are within these walls. Even as he saw shock register on the faces of many of the people he acted by reaching out with his earth magic and causing the outer wall to collapse with the defenders still on and around it.

Shadow stepped forward and watched as innocents ran to their houses and soldiers approached him. As he moved forward he drained the souls of those that had died in the wall and finished off those that had not. He then reached out with his full power and every house within a two hundred yard radius bent to his will becoming a death trap as wooden spikes filled every room.

Shadow's eyes began to glow a deep red as he moved forward towards the defenders. There were a large group approaching him and a good number seemed to be carrying bows. These stopped and loosed a volley before reloading quickly and releasing another. Shadow paused and with a gesture made the walls of the houses nearest him flow outward so that they formed a demi-sphere that would block all of the arrows in front of him. As the second volley hit the arrows were absorbed by the wall which then made all of the arrow heads surface.

Shadow rested his hand against the wall and sent a pulse of pure earth magic into it causing it to explode and send the shrapnel towards the defenders with the force of a claymore mine. These arrow heads would shred the defenders and the houses nearby.

Shadow continued deeper into town and where he went his aura twisted the buildings so that they impaled all within them on wooden spikes.

Shadow then tapped one of his greater gifts and used his souls to create a spirit void which would draw all dead souls to him and could also draw the souls out from those that were weak or badly injured. The old and young of the town both began dying as their souls were pulled from thier bodies as did the badly wounded. Still Shadow continued headed for the center of town. There he would unleash true horror.

Shadow reached the center of town and knelt. He placed his hands upon the ground and drew more of his earth magic to himself. It was time to finish the games. He sent a massive pulse into the ground and this caused a ripple to spread through the actual earth outwards. As the ripple passed it had the same effect as Shadow's aura but in a more grusome manner. It caused the wood of every building it came in contact with to become sentient and create tendrils and spikes of wood that would beat and stab any living human it sensed to death.

As the wave reached the outer wall it bounced back and the buildings shot spikes outward at all living things even as the insides became normal. It also pulled the souls of the dead back towards Shadow and as it reached him he absorbed what was left of the magic and the souls. He was forced to pause for a moment though and draw a steel dagger from his belt which he focused on until it was glowing before dropping it to melt into the ground and travel deep into the earth to where the obsidian dagger lay.

Shadow nodded before saying. There is no reason to bother with the wood. I'll take care of the repairs when we return it will be far quicker than the skeletons doing it. Shadow looked around at the devastation for a moment before smirking and saying. Not even the lady 9 is capable of reviving this town. Not when you possess the skeletons and I possess the souls. Even if she get's the bodies whole they will simply be zombies if they do not have souls. With that Shadow melted into the ground and headed towards the ruins of the tower.

*Having sensed the destruction KB came to a hill near the town where he could easilly see it.As his gaze swept over the town he smiled widely. It was now perfect,finally destroyed forever he thought to himself. Making note of the skeletons he assumed there was a necromancer involved,for it seemed to be an unholy raising. He then wanders back the way he came,wondering what 9 would do about this,and wondering who/what had attacked the town.*

Shadow rose in the center of the town once more and threw back his head before letting lose a loud howl. The noise from this howl spread outwards and as it did each building it touched collapsed as thier foundations crumbled and the wood itself exploded outward. The sound reached the outside of the city and his work was done. The town was no longer anything but blood, flesh, and rubble. Shadow grinned. The destruction was complete. He melted back into the ground and returned to the tower to continue his studies. He was almost ready to attempt the creation of his first skeleton. He planned on taking his necromancy a step further than Nazgoth though it would take time to accomplish.
