Brayden spotted the flash of blue fire out of the corner of his eye, reaching for his belt as he spotting the abnormally-hued Ponyta dashing across the plains. He summoned his Dragonair, calling out Taranis with a grin, "Come on, buddy, lets catch us a Ponyta!"
The Dragonair emerged with a cry, prepared for battle as he faced off against the Ponyta.

"Taranis!" Brayden called, "Start out with a Slam!" The Dragonair nodded, charging forward with surprising speed, slamming into the Ponyta full-force, which was enough to make the horse stumble.

The Ponyta charged, throwing out an Ember at Taranis, breathing searing blue flames that matched his mane and tail.

"Keep it together!" Brayden called, "Use Twister to weaken it further!" In response, the dragon released a miniature tornado that lifted the Ponyta from the ground for a brief moment, flinging it to the ground the next.

The Ponyta stumbled to his feet, before releasing another Ember towards Taranis.

Brayden then took the opportunity to throw a Poke Ball towards the Ponyta.
((less than 1/4 health left, 90% chance of capture. Rolling a 10-sided dice I'll be going 1-9= capture, 10=escape I like this new system. Its gives a chance that the Pokemon'll escape. =3))
The Ponyta vanished into the Pokeball, struggling for a moment, before the Pokeball lay still, signalling its capture.

"Hey, don't condescend it, I've been waiting for a year to catch one of these buggers," Chloe ordered, "Let's make this quick, use a Flare Blitz!"

Kaze nodded, releasing a huge blast of fire towards the ground type.

The Trapinch managed to endure the hit, however it was clearly in trouble. It used a Bite, chomping down onto the Charizard's leg. Kaze's eyes widened, as he shook his leg, trying to dislodge the small set of jaws with legs, but it was no use, as the Charizard flailed comically.

"Hold still, Kaz!" Chloe complained, trying to get a clear shot with her Pokeball. She finally saw an opening, throwing the Pokeball towards the Trapinch still clamped onto Kaze's leg.
The Trapinch vanished into the Pokeball, much to Kaze's relief.

As the Pokeball struggled on the ground, it looked like the Trapinch was about to break free, but it finally stilled on the grass, as Chloe smiled.

Kaya noticed the oddly colored Trapinch and decided that a dragon type couldn't hurt his team after it evolve."Come on out Bonsai! You're the star of the show!" he called as he tossed the Grottle's Poke'ball into the battle. "Use you Razor Leaf, Bonsai." he ordered, knowing it would have a greater effect on the ground type.

The Trapinch was sruck by the sharp leaves and stumbled back slightly before contering with a Bite.

"Bonsai, use Absorb." Kaya told his Poke'mon, who promptly obeyed.

(+10 to Bonsai, 115 hp remains)
The Trapinch countered the absorb with another bite after he reovered from the blow.

"Poke'ball go!" Kaya shouted as he threw a Poke'ball at the bug-like ground type. He hoped the ball would work as he had nothing stronger right now.

Kaya waited patiently as the ball rolled about in the grass, it's center flashing. He wondered what he might name this Poke'mon if it was captured.

Finally the ball stilled and Kaya ran over to pick it up. The dark skinned Poke'mon would need a suiting name Kaya thought as he considered which Poke'mon to send back to his Box. He decided on Loki for now, transferring the Grovyle in place of the Trapinch.

{{That's cool about the Ponyta, Manga. =o The only shiny Pokemon I've ever run into besides the Lake of Rage event, was a shiny Koffing that is currently collecting dust somewhere on my Crystal Version. XD
The Pokeball info is on the "New Change" thread on the main forum. And yup, you can control your wild Pokemon. ^_^
