Chloe plopped on the beach, thankfully having a softer landing than her last fiasco. After all, she had had plenty of falling in holes, landing in mud, and getting caught in thunderstorms for one day, thank you very much Mother Nature. Alkaid chirruped, flitting to her shoulder, before, after a moment of indecision, settled on Chloe's head instead.
"I don't think you match my outfit," Chloe joked, as the cotton-ball-like bird chirped her contentment and set to dozing. Sighing, Chloe was defeated, as she made her way to the Pokecenter. She fingered the strange rock she had uncovered at Mt. Chimney absently as she waited at the counter for her Pokemon to get a quick check-up and heal. After all, the only way she could get Entreri to sit through a heal at the Pokecenter was when he was in his Pokeball, so she wasn't about to let that chance pass her by.
Despite the miffed lecture she would certainly get at the Sneasel's release from his Pokeball the next time she saw him.

Chloe was still at the counter of the Pokecenter, finally getting back her Pokemon as she stopped at a nearby vending machine to grab a drink. She had recalled Alkaid and summoned Entreri, figuring she might as well get it out of the way.
After poking around a bit, she settled on a beverage, but paused, getting the uncanny feeling that she was being watched. Entreri, who was perched on the top of the vending machine pouting in as moody mindset as she ever saw him, wasn't about to give any help, although he had clearly spotted Sasha entering the center. His sharp gaze watched her enter and speak with the nurses, however he simply turned away, glaring down at Chloe instead, still miffed about being dropped off at the Pokemon Center counter.
"Bah, give it up, you're going to have to deal with the Pokecenter if you plan on helping us out," Chloe stuck her tongue out at the moody Sneasel, who only glared in response, huffing as he hopped off the vending machine to follow Chloe to one of the overstuffed sofas that lined the seating area of the Center.
Taking a sip of her drink, Chloe looked up, finally spotting Sasha at the counter.
"Hey!" she waved with a grin, "Sasha, how're you doing?"
Sighing, definitely not interested in socializing, Entreri flit over to the window, gazing out absently. A moment later his eyes widened as he peered out the glass. Was that a flying Leafeon?

"Oh wow, Alice evolved? That's awesome!" Chloe grinned. "I bet she's as beautiful as ever," she nodded.
"Been doing good. Much better now that I've gotten back to some semblance of civilization," Chloe laughed lightly, setting her drink down as she stretched. "Uh.. let's see, I headed to get a few more badges, I'm getting a bit closer to having all of them. They were fairly easy to get, although I did get in an argument with Fantina regarding her accent," Chloe grimaced.
"That part wasn't too fun."
"Other than that, we dawdled around Mt. Chimney for a bit. All I've got to show for that was some muddy clothes and a weird rock, but at least I got a chance to wash up a bit before heading here," she laughed.
"So whatcha been up to? From what I hear from that mail you sent me, you bought your own place?" Chloe inquired, curious, and oblivious as ever.
Entreri couldn't help but wince at the fall of the man from the roof, but the action was soon followed by a snicker. After all, amusement at another's expense was always entertaining for him. Hopping down from his windowsill perch, he clamored up the wall, waving a claw in front of the door's motion sensor. As the glass doors slid open, he slid down, thankfully not making any claw marks in the wall (Chloe certainly didn't have the funds for any repairs), making his way outside the Pokecenter.
Poking at the pile 'o Kaya, Entreri tried to make sure that he was at least still breathing.
"Snea sneee sel, sneasel?" {{"I take it you need to work on your landings a bit?"}} he inquired with a smirk.
