"No, no, no... No, this is simply too much." With a soft cry, Antigone surged up from the protective cuddle of Ubel, and practicaly flew down to the railing of the Arena seating, to get as close as possible to what was going on. She couldn't seem to focus. So much power and magic and pain... Part her, however, had to respect the fact that both of them were still on their feet. Reaching behind her, the young Sanguine brushed the Oroborous she knew was on the back of her dress. Two snakes, both going straight for the killing blow, never mind defensives or what would happen afterwards. She could see now that neither of the professors had anything left, hadn't saved anything for the swim back, so to speak. It was enough to drive one to weep. And if she was to be truthful with herself, the small bit of moisture she brushed away from her cheek wasn't a misplaced rain drop.

Ubel let go of Antigone and watched in horror, unable to move, to think, to breathe... this was going too far. Too much. His logical mind knew that the two men wouldn't last long, and the typically buried emotional part of him wept over it. "This has to stop," he whispered, clutching at the seat, before moving slowly to get to his feet, trailing after Antigone and reaching out to her. "Anti... Anti, come back to your seat... we can't help," he whispered to her.

Yambati barely caught himself as he practically fell out of his chair in amazement. His mouth hung open, and a small strangled sound of awe passed his lips.
If he was just a better artist, he could have one day had something like that.
He glanced over at the twins to see their reaction, but it was short-lived. Immediately, his focus was back on the two dragons.

"I know," she responded finally after a moment. The Sanguine turned, and smiled sadly at her friend. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have gotten up like that." Reaching out, she wrapped her deep red hand around his out-stretched silver-black fingers. "I'm sorry," she said again, though this time, her words were directed towards the fighting pair, readying their last attack. She closed expressive gold eyes, and wound her fingers around Ubel's a little tighter. "Let's go back, Ubel." Cashimer closed his eyes against the waves of pain that seemed the radiate through him at the sight of the couple before him. Emotions, wants, needs, desires, loves... Could they really drive someone to this? To using such power against another, another who was dear to them? Looking to Lior, blinking sad, soft green eyes at him, Cashimer was sure that love could drive someone to do anything. Anything.

The twins were, as might be expected, utterly and completely engrossed. Their smiles were broad, eyes shining, as they watched the events progress. They cheered when Elias made a definitive blow against Dameron, Aureus grabbing Yambati's hand, "Aha! See! We were right!"
He knew that the lovers wouldn't irreparably harm one another and the sheer beauty of their combat overwhelmed the sympathy both twins felt for Elias and Dameron. They ached in response to the blows and yet wanted to see more.
When the dragons were summoned, Aureus sat back and crossed him arms, looking smug, "Well, that's that. The dragons mean the duel's coming to a close. Elias will win, he has to."
"But the black one's so much larger.... and nastier...." Argentum mused worried.

Aysel froze, eyes wide in sorrow and shock.. and then, she was blindly rushing toward Antigone, who had jumped from her seat...her Antigone, who, for one terrifying moment, looked as though she would topple over the railing and into the battlefield of magic and anguish beneath her. Burying her face in her love's back, she wound her arms tightly around the girl's waist. Oh, oh, that fate and love were so unkind to the professors staggering through their final attacks below! It was very nearly unbearable. With a soft sob, she tightened her arms around Anti, blindly reaching out to Ubel as well, silently pleading for both of them to stay with her. It was too much..just too much. The two dragons were polar opposites of each other..Yin and Yang, she thought mournfully, much like the two fighters themselves...

Ubel held onto Antigone's hands and drew her close, hugging her for a moment. "You don't need to apologize. You're emotional. It's all right," he whispered to her, then he looked up as Aysel rushed to them, purring softly and hugging both of them to him, understanding the upset.
Lior had tears in his eyes. He refused to let them fall, but did hiccup a little, drawing a hand up to cover his mouth in hopes of hiding the fact that he had. Then he looked at Cash, blinking a few times. "It hurts to see them.."

The young Sanguine spread her arms, hugging the two Melancholies to her as best she could. "It's alright dearlings. It's alright." She pressed a kiss to each of their brows, clinging to them. "It's alright, it's alright... They've brought it all upon themselves. We can only watch, now. Please, dearest one... Don't cry," she murmured, brushing a kiss over Aysel's nose. "Smile for me, dearest..." Cash clung to Lior's hand, letting a long sigh out, seeming to deflate as the air left him, his head coming to lay upon the other's shoulder for a moment. "I... I don't know if I can continue to watch this, Lior. It hurts, to know what they're going through, emotionally. Physical pain is more than likely secondary to what they're going through right now in their hearts."

Ubel held onto the two girls, smiling softly as he watched them. Then he stepped back just a little to give them time to each other. He looked into the Arena once more, sighing shakily and hugging himself loosely, getting chills to see how much they hurt each other...
Lior immediately straightened, purring quietly to Cash. "Would you like to go, little one?" he asked quietly, already beginning to get to his feet. He didn't much want to be there either, but his main concern was making sure that Cash was all right.

"I can't smile.." Aysel whispered, closing her eyes and leaning lightly against the two of them. "Such anguish...even when the duel is done, there will be no victor..for they will only have expressed their frustrations, and not resolved the conflict at all. This duel will only repeat itself..until one of them slips..and the other one lies dead." Flinching as Ubel drew away, the melancholy gave a soft and shuddering sob, then went on, this time speaking solely to the Sanguine she held. "Promise me...that if we get to be like that...promise me that you will not let me harm you..."
