? We call it soda here! In Chicago, they call things like Coke "pop," while a soda describes an ice cream drink.
So it's actually not the Midwest. blaugh

Illinois is Mid Western. So is Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Missouri. A s**t load of states are Midwestern...

My ex boyfriend did and he was from Michigan. I would assume people from Minnesota and Wisconsin do...I don't know if people from Missouri do...Probably northern, but southern Missouri is it's own little world.
Southwest Missouri is horrid.

Anyway, everytime I go there is always some hillbilly trying to hit on me. I'm like,"Excuse me, I'm from Bentonville and I prefer guys who pronounce their "ING's."" I find it kind of funny.
