Mizu sighed turning towards Zion with an expression much like a mother of five would pull after a long days work. Valerie had escaped from Mizu's grasp and was sitting on the floor tugging at the hems of her skirt with a pouty face wringing at the wet material

"Aww man....no more Sake...no more for me!"

She sighed crawling along the floor sitting down beside a tree twirling her blonde locks in her fingers. Following the teen Mizu sat next to her an muttered about how it was like looking after a child.

Lance was rather surprised to find that the 'thing' lurking invisible behind the backpack was actually another human being. Sort of. It was female, roughly the same age and height as himself, except she had splotchy green skin and darker green hair to match. Judging by the fact obvious fact that she could blend in with her surroundings confirmed she was too, a mutant.

"Oh," he said, looking from the chameleon-girl to the intoxicated Valerie sitting stupidly under a tree, "let me guess. You're another one of Mystique's new recruits, right?"

The male creature was starting to fume at the thought of yet another addition to the team. Damion and Valerie were enough for one day.



"Pizza?" said Victoria, her voice perking up at the slightest mention of food, "Count me in."

As if on cue, her stomach trembled ever-so gracefully. Not surprising though since she hadn't eaten lunch that day. Not to mention, getting held hostage by a demented Frog-boy took a lot of energy out of a gal.

It had been god knows how long since Kidd First closed her eyes on that ice float in the bay. she was stressing out as her body pushes through a new barrier of her mutant powers. as she slept her body was growing and becoming strong developing new powers that Kidd had no idea how to use or control the ice burg has grow to twice its original size and had begun curl around her, like it had done only a few days earlier. ridges of ice were forming in her body. she shut her eyes tight and hugged her arms and legs, the doctor had told her this could happen but she chose to shrug it off. mistake number one. then she decided to go out for the day in public. mistake number two. hopefully she wouldn't strike out.

Samara looked at the pool, wondering if a dip would be a good idea. Shrugging, she pulled her suit from the trunk, changing where she couldn't be seen.

Walking towards the pool's edge she grinned, her hair streaming down to her waist. Her black halter swim top fit her form perfectly, contrasting to the boy's swim trunks she wore, hiding her legs in mystery. Sitting at the edge, she placed her pale feet in the water, smiling at the feeling.

Looking around at the people, she decided that she'd like her new home.

Victoria's attention was diverted away from the pizza box when one of the boys, the one who had just took a slice, made an effort to kill the silence by introducing himself and asking everyone else to do the same. The idea was elementary, but it was effective.

"My name's Victoria," she started, hopping off the counter to steal a slice of pizza before it was all gone, "call me 'Vicky' and I'll be forced to kill you."

She hopped, one handed back onto the counter before taking a bite of the pizza slice in her hand. "You're turn," she said, pointing to the blond kid with the wings and the pizza box.



The lizard-girl blended into the surrounding environment again as she ask Lance the rather innocent question of 'who was Mystique and why would she recruit her'. It was getting tiresome, he thought having to explain what was going on every few seconds, one of the few curses of being a team leader he supposed. But even so, everyone should be given a FAQ as soon as the were drafted into this war to avoid tiring moments like this.

"Mystique," he stated, wanting to get this done as quickly and painlessly as possible, "she the founder of the this team, the Brotherhood of Mutants."

Damion would pop up and go under again and again. If it was one thing he missed about being completely human was the fact that he could hold his breath back then. It wasn't that he no longer had to breath but it was a function of his body now not to breath underwater; kinda like a reflex. He could not of course explain why something as uninportant as holding his breath was so dearly missed but it was. After about three or four atempts to reach the bottom of the deep end without his head exploding he gave up. and pulled himself onto the edge. He had been wondering for some time which of the two older boys was the real leader around here and he could not figure it out. Between Piedro and Lance both seemed to demand every one's atention and their was obviously tension in the air but Damion had a feeling that if he asked Lance regardless of the awnser he would go balistic.

"ok thank you" becky replied. she really wanted to get to kidd right away.
