Darian slings his bag, which he had been using as a pillow, over his back and follows Jay. The elf walks softly, prefering to stay unnoticed by anything unpleasant.

The being slips back to his companion's side and says in a whispered tone, "Why must we always be getting in trouble? Are we not to arrive at our destination?"

Darian went to the Towers of the Elders and was told to go to the Hidden Sanctuary to talk to Marcus Silverwind (grandfather of Jay). Then there was the whole "at home" thing before getting on the road. Darian ran into Arelen, and now they're off (again) to the Hidden Sanctuary.))

(OOC:If I remember correctly he was supposed to talk to Jay's grandfather to find out where it is.)

The black-and-blue haired elf blushes, twittering something under his breath. He can't believe that his mind is failing already, but that's what is happening to him. There is nothing he can say for a few minutes, fairly embarassed by the fact that he lost their destination for a while there.

"It was bound to happen eventually," Darian says, "It'll happen to me too, just happened to you earlier because you age a bit faster due to the bluejay part of you." With that he places his left hand on Jay's right shoulder. "Now cheer up, we've got a long journey ahead of us and if anyone has a reason to sulk it's me."

After about two hours, Jay finally says, "Let's see here. The path to the right, here, is the way towards home."
He points to the beaten path, showing Darian the way and letting the blue-haired elf to take the lead (for a bit).
"We're not too far, but that's just to see Grandpa."

"Yeah, the gods know how long it is after that," Darian said with a laugh. He was enjoying travelling again, for he knew it would result in his regaining his memory, and then he would be able to meet up with Margem again and settle down.

Turning down the road to his Grandpa's, Jay hears some birds chirping nearby. His elvish ears perk up so he can listen. He chirps something out to the birds and five birds go fluttering down the path.
He smiles, "Grandpa knows how to speak the dialects of the birds. He'll know that we're coming, now. ...also, a few of the birds here were wondering who we were. ...they've been known to attack unknown people."
Just as Jay says 'unknown people', three masked beings come out of the bushes in front of the two travelers. "Silverao, Moonliat, vi co nost."
Jay frowns, "Ummm... What?"
((OOC: I'm making a dialect of Elvish, starting now.. xD "Silverao, Moonliat, vi co nost" would mean "Silverwind, Moonleaf, come with us". ...influenced by Spanish? A sarcastic: Nooooooooooo.... razz ))

"They want us to come with them, and know us, it seems," Darian explained, before turning to the masked figures. "Par quo?" he asked them, feeling that since they addressed him in Elvish, it would be prudent to do the same for them.
(Just in case you're unsure of my attempt at your Spanish-influenced elvish dialect, that's meant to be "What for?", or "why?", based on "Por que?")
