She stood there, looking around the noisy would, her facial expression not changing at all. It was bright, noisy, and of course, she wanted to examine it thoroughly. She could absolutely spend hours here, taking notes, examining textures, trying to taste them (not that she really could).
However, upon further examination of things, she realized there was a yellow exclamation point up ahead and wandered towards that instead. Better play by the rules.
This was her first game like dream, after all. She had a feeling that wasn't all there was to this..

JadeOrchid arched a brow when she accepted the quest and wandered off to examine trees. Well, at least she got a quest she was thrilled with. With a tiny, tiny smirk on her face, the Dormouse reached out for the first tree she saw and let out a startled noise when it started talking to her! Fascinating! Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea, playing this game... in her dream.
The tree told her to leave and come back when it was clean, and so, that's what she did. She wandered away and stood there for a few moments, humming to herself. But when she came back, the tree was gone.

Wandering a little ways away, JadeOrchid examined her second tree. This one seemed to be covered in signs! Reading them, she arched a brow and stood there a moment, thinking about what that meant. This way to nowhere and everywhere?
Curious. "Simply curious," she whispered again, reaching out to touch this tree. At least it didn't talk to her. It felt... like a tree. Might as well continue on with the quest.

The next tree to look at was very easy to point out because it was crying. With wide eyes Bao Yu bit down on her lip and listened to the trees story. Lost it's glasses? Poor dear. She knew what that was like.
"I'll try to help you," she said, nodding. "I know I would be sad if I couldn't find my glasses." Because without them, Bao Yu was honestly blind as a bat.

The colours. The shapes. The sounds. This was awesome! The wendigo was entirely thrilled by what she was looking at, and spent a time or two just swivelling her head this way and that, taking in as much of the delightful sights as she could. That was when she noticed something in front of her; a box, asking her for a username. Her head tilted and she hummed, before announcing quite clearly: "NomAllTheThings", which appeared just as she wanted it to within the box. Next the sights shifted, looking at glass screens of various job classes. They swiped through, coming to the forefront as she looked at them, until she gave a delighted shriek. "THAT ONE! That one's perfect!" Suddenly, the hand she was pointing with was draped in the default green of the Mad Hatter class, and the alternate colour palettes came in to view as the other job classes faded from sight. Her coat became white and, after looking down noticed that her outft was made of various reds and oranges. Awesome.
Next popped up a tutorial, and after going through that, she was allowed to proceed. NomAllTheThings (henceforth known as Natt) wandered forward until she found a sign post that...spoke? So cool! It talked on about a quest and trees, but really, Natt just picked at her ears. Or rather, where she thought she should have had ears.

*Rei [Undying=Borg] entering Tugley Woods*
After what seemed like an Online Game registration process...and ALOT more tutorial, Rei concluded that HE SHOULD NOT JACKED HIS HEADPHONE TO WHAT LOOKS LIKE A VR GLASSES anymore.
He opened his eye...and find himself-no, not just himself, in a middle of something that looks like a pinkish-colored woods.
Okay. ALICE AI did say that this world...VR world, is named "Wonderland"...so that coloring scheme is not a surprise for him.
Then that means...those characters around him are PC? Or was this only his dream, that makes them NPC?
Welp, better check it later. Something in the distance blinked with yellow, BLARING yellow light in shape of "!"
-which anyone can deduce that's probably means a Quest.

The woods are infinite, each tree a different colour, branches seemingly merging into other branches. It feels all sorts of noisy, strange honks, wheezes, rustling and crunching evident around the vibrant woods. Music plays in the distance. Keep in mind, trees are very shy, yes some are shy indeed, and some are just too noisy those trees, full of surprises. Examine five trees, and come back to me when you're finished!"

I'm so very sad, said the broken tree, which was already obvious considering she had heard it sobbing from a few good feet away. The tree actually reminded her of someone, but she couldn't quite place who. Someone who was always as negative nancy, anyway. Natt tilted her head and stared at the broken thing, trying to figure out why it was so upset. Maybe because it was split in half? That could have done it. So, so very sad indeed. I left my glasses around here and now I can't find them. Can you help me out?, the tree continued, much to Natt's surprise. The tree had glasses? Well, of course it did. That made total sense. Real, honest sense.
"HOKAY!" Natt shrieked in all caps, and dropped down to the forest floor to do a thorough, crawling sweep of the place.

JadeOrchid looked around. She started closest to the tree, working her way around it and to the back. Then she moved off to one side, and then back. She examined the ground, other tree branches, in case one of them picked them up. Who knew, right? If trees could talk here, and need glasses, they could probably be alive enough to grab them.
However, on her way back to the tree, she saw something in the ground that was off colored. Moving over and picking them up, JadeOrchid realized she had found the glasses! With a rush of happiness, she went back to the tree and gave them over. In return she got a fragment of something.
Well.. on to the next tree.

This was a horrible place for Wykid to end up. The alchemist in her screamed from all the odd trees, the bright colors, the oddities. It was like a fantasy land that she had dreamed of. Something she could only wish for had come true.
Except...it wasn't real. Not entirely....it felt real.
Eyes shifted towards the sign post with the giant exclamation point over it. Curious, she approached. Pushing back her cumbersome Caterpillar cape before bending at the waist to give the post a good look over.
Then it spoke and she instantly snapped to. Expecting a face or a mouth. Something. But no. As it babbled on, she took hold of the sign with both hands, peering behind it to see if there was someone there playing a trick. But there was no one.
She only caught the tail end of what the sign said and she was eager to oblige it. Examine the trees. Oh ho ho YES she had been waiting for this. Not that she would have waited for permission in the first place.

Her mouth is covered by a mask hiding the bottom half of her face and the sleeves of her shirt are larger than normal, slightly translucent at the wrists giving a small peek at her bone arms. Its hard to tell her disposition at the time unless you are watching her body language. But even that can be a bit tricky. But for the most part she's fairly good natured.

-somehow, he managed not to repeatedly smashing his head against the tree after uttering those words. He has fallen too far into this chaos, he now fully realized that.

The first tree she came upon was stripped. Oh! It reminded her of trees she had seen before. But they were not quite so colorful.
Wykid poked at the tree, a grin slipping across her lips as her nail scraped across the bark. "What a silly thing you are."
And then it shook. And spoke just as the sign had. One again no mouth. How did these creatures project a voice with no orafice to project it from. Her mind screamed for her to figure it out. Perhaps a big of dissection was in order, or if she could get just a small sample...
Now this was just getting stranger. The tree wanted her to shake it? Well, what did she really have to loose honestly? Wrapping her arms around it's slender trunk Wykid shook the tree as hard as she could. And out popped a fragment which she plucked off the ground. Holding it up, her brown eyes sparkled in amazement.
Ok, she needed more of these.

This willow tree was absolutely beautiful. She stood there, examining the low hanging leaves, feeling them with her fingers. If she were awake, this would be the kind of tree she would bring a flashlight too and read under for days, uncaring of the world passing her by. Odd though,s he couldn't see it's eyes.
Attempting to push back the branches, the tree shook it's head and she let out a startled yelp as leaves started raining down and then the tree started batting at her! "Rude! Ow! Stop that!" With a huff and a whine, JadeOrchid moved away, rubbing at her arms and legs where the branches snapped her.
"So rude."

Though the tiny tree hadn't had an answer for him, it looked like this one had enough answers for everyone in the forest. When he got close to it, however, Punchy realized that its informational signs were as useless as legs on a steak.
He kicked at its trunk, earning a muffled 'ow' as he look off toward Nowhere.

"-uh...I think this is yours?" Said Borg, lifting an item labelled 'Broken Glasses' from the ground.
The broken tree is not BAWLING anymore, its eyes turned into a broken hydrant.
"SORRRY!"
Borg quickly took off from that place, before the jet of water can blast him away...

A tree with stripes? Very silly! jadeOrchid's smile grew wider with laughter as she looked this tree over.
Then the tree seemed to be reading her mind. With wide eyes, she listened to the... riddle? Well, she listened to the tree and gave a snort. Possible and impossible at the same time. So far she hadn't experienced that, therefore she didn't believe this tree.
However, she indulged the tree and gave it a good shake. She put her hands flat against the trunk and shook it hard, at least, until something fell out. Blinking, she stopped and grabbed another fragment.
Time to turn in this quest, she supposed.
