No, his other memories were created. His time here was because he had a duty, but the voice had not created him. He felt no remorse for overthrowing the kingdom.

He winced as the Voice piped up again, but he had to wonder. If he was a fragment, wasn't he already discarded? Thrown away? He kept ascending.

He wished there was a way to reply back to the voice, to tell it to shut its freaking mouth. Remi heard it too, that undertone of desperation. That hitch in its voice that said they knew they were losing, they knew they were coming.

The voices desperation meant he was close, they were close. Closer towards the goal, he thought he could see the light at the end of this tunnel...
He could feel the exhaustion settling in his limbs, weighing him down. He knew he needed to get to the top.
