It was the whistle that go him. Balthazar fluttered down from the trees, landed on Freya's arm, and fluffed up proudly. He looked positively glowing with pride at the mess he'd made earlier.

No, not the tiny one. Why did she always go for the small one first? Maybe her sense of perception was off..
She set him up in his cage, fluffed his feathers affectionately, and closed the door.

kurotomato voice near the edge of the booth made him turn around, Sparrow peering over to find a vaguely familiar ghoul standing beside it. "Yes?" he said, with a light smile. "May I help you with something, my dear?" Alice heard a voice from behind the booth. She noticed a man with blonde hair and blue eyes, with a matching blue attire. It suited him well. She smiled slightly. " So you must be the owner of the booth? Um, I was curious as to what happened earlier with the items from your booth on the ground. Did your birds come out of their cages and knock them over?" she asked politely.

Sparrow grinned at Freya. "Of course," he said, and reached through the bars of the cage to stroke at Balthazar's feathers. "He seems to like you, though he can be a real handful. You, however, seem to have somewhat of a gift with him, I see," he added with a wink, his eyes twinkling mischievously.
Flicking his gaze back to Alice, he smiled at her.
"I am indeed!" he said cheerfully, and swept into a low bow, one arm over his stomach, the other tucked behind his back. "My name is Sparrow Heartreed, dear lady."
Blinking a little at her question, his smile turned somewhat sheepish. "Ah, well, yes, something like that," said Sparrow with a light laugh. "They can be quite a handful. Yin was going to help Sparrow out by capturing the black owl that had escaped. It was solely for the reapers benefit of course.

Of course, he missed capturing it the first time because he did not want the reaper to feel too bad about not catching it himself. But missing once was more than enough.

Now was the worst part if he remembered correctly. Trying to figure out which cage it went into. He tried to put in the first cage, but it was not a good fit. Thank you, try again.

Well if it did not go in that one perhaps it would go in the one over here. Yin put Spectacles in, smiling in triumph. There, that was not so bad.

As he was getting Spectacles into the cage...a different minipet managed to escape. Well...he was already here after all, might as well go for Balthazar too.
Especially when he could just reach out and snag him before he got too far.

Now then, to get the peacock colored bird into a cage.
For some reason he tried to put him in the same cage as Spectacles, which obviously did not work.

Still, maybe Balthazar would fit into the cage with Spectacles. Yin tried to make it work.

Why could he not just cram the birds into one cage together?

Finally Yin tried to put Balthazar into a different cage. Not the right cage, but at least it was a different one.
