Raine felt her body connect with the wall farthest from the group. She let out a small hiss of pain, as she landed, feeling bones breaking, and a sharp pain had taken root in her head as it smacked against the floor. She laid there, not daring to move. What the hell was that... She wasn't shocked at being thrown, she should have expected that, but she had never in her life hesitated in a fight before. She lifted her aching head to look at the group that fought among the dead. She watched them for a moment, almost recognizing the way they fought, it reminded her of her own actions in battle. Her headache worsened suddenly, and she found herself wanting to go to them, to help the small pack of rebels (for surely that's what they were), rather than harm them. She closed her eyes, trying to clear her head. Just before the drug that had altered her mind took hold again, she remembered, and she understood why she cared about them. Be safe guys... She told them silently, before allowing the drugs to take hold of her again, wiping all emotion from her heart.

She sat up suddenly, ignoring the pain in her body, and threw herself back into the battle.

As she got up from the ground he could tell she was seriously hurt and in his heart of hearts he wanted to stop and simply wisk her away now. But he knew that would never work with her in this state. "I just want you to know. I'm not gonna enjoy this one bit." He said as he dashed toward Raine as she lept into the battle grabbing her by her hair and without hesitation thrusting his palm toward her head with a blast of wind following. On contact the blast would only be powerful enough to disorientate a person though with her injuries it could actually incapacitate her. "I swear, I'll make sure he pays for this..." He thought to himself visualizing the guy who had taken her from him if not only to further her plan for freedom.

Adara finished unchaining the Prisoners when Vail wanted to leave. "Okay but what about them?" Adara pointed to the guards who she froze to the wall.

Vail looked up at Ro, trying to focus. "The Sanctuary." she said softly. It was the only thing she could think of that would hide them, and since Raine's memory was being blocked she wouldn't remember it. "And we have to leave soon. I don't know how long I can keep this up." she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Raine was floating, her mind lost in the haze of unconsciousness. She floated there, unthinking uncaring, lost in the darkness of her own soul. Dimly as she floated, she heard the sound of a voice, his voice, Stay alive.... his voice whispered. She felt her heart squeeze, she knew him and she loved him. She could feel him leaving and her entire soul cried out for him, "No," she silently pleaded, "Please don't leave, save me from this..." she could feel the darkness closing in, ready to take her back to it, "Please come back for me....." she thought, before the dark swooped him, destroying all thought and the memory of him...
He nodded though inside he wanted nothing more than to run back to Raine and take her into his arms to bring her back with him. He felt a throbbing in his chest as she forgot him under the influence of the poison in her body. To him it felt like his heart was being ripped of his chest but he knew what it really was. "I'll get you back Raine. I promise." He thought before bringing his mind back to full attention on the remaining group. "C'mon then." He said softly as he lifted Vail into his arms. "I'm sorry, but you just look tired. We can't have you falling asleep on us." He said as he began to walk though quickly picking up pace hoping Adara would follow him.

Raine jerked from her unconsciousness, with a gasp. She tried to move but something cut into her wrists. Her eyes, which had been closed until that point, opened in shock. She looked around the familiar white room. Her hands were bound behind her, and to a simple wooden chair. The room was empty, and the lights her far to bright, and the chair just to short for comfort. She frowned, "Why am I in here, Michael?" she asked, looking up at the intercom on the far wall. There was no answer, and she frowned deeper, surly they wouldn't blame her for the fight.
