Atari nodded to Esca with a bright smile and let her lead the way from the shop to the open corridor of the mall. Where do you wanna look now?

Escarelia smiled, then looked around, thinking, when she spotted a book store. She looked at it a moment, then looked over at Atari. "Do you like books?"

Books? Atari blushed deeply, not wanting to admit that he really hadn't ever read one. What kinds of books? He slunk closer to Esca, not even quite sure what a book looked like since he spent most of his time outside or under things.

"Any kind of book," she said with a smile. "Fantasy, fiction, science fiction, historical fiction, non-fiction, stuff like that."

I like books with pictures? Atari offered, blushing so terribly that it surfaced beneath his lavender skin. Do those count?

She nodded, still smiling. "It's still a book, isn't it?" She smiled again, tilting her head. "I like pictures too."

Atari thought for a moment, of the books belonging to silbings he'd read, and smiled. Maybe you like some of the same books! he purred, inching towards where he saw Esca'd noticed the bookstore.

"Maybe, you never know!" Escarelia said with a smile. "Want to take a look inside?" She nodded at the bookstore, but noted that he'd already started towards it, at least a tiny bit.

Atari still purred softly, nodding in responce to Esca's question. Yes please! He laughed, letting Esca lead the way into the bookstore, as he really didn't know where to find the books he was thinking of.

Escarelia smiled and lead him into the store, looking around. She spotted the tiltes for various sections, thought a moment, then looked at Atari. "What kind of pictures books?"

Atari blushed some still but smiled, glancing over the shelves until he spotted what he thought looked similar. Rather than lead Esca over to them, he looked back to her and started to explain. Well...they're about this thick, and never in color...sometimes you read them front to back, but sometimes back to front...he nodded, hoping he didn't sound like an idiot trying to explain.

Manga? Atari coughed, trying not to laugh. Is that what they're called? He bit his lip some, trying to think of what exactly a 'mango' was, since that's what he was going to offer as the sort of books he liked.

"Ah, manga are japaneese, and then comic books are american," she said, blushing a little. She looked around, trying to spot some, and then pointed. "Like those."
