Valik looked at the wood panels bolted to the castle door. "Unless you can get this down, the only way I can is if I change form." he looked around, nodding towards the few citizens that wondered and sat outside of the castle gates.

Valik chuckled. "Alright then." he walked in after her. His nose curled at the horrid smell. Normally, flesh would smell tasty to him, but not this. "This is the work of some sort of demon." he murmured, though it was already obvious. There were strange markings on the wall that meant different things and different forms of darkness. Valik slid his fingers down one of the markings. When taking his hand away, he showed Selia his fingertips. "It's fresh," he said.

Valik lashed at the air as his painful transformation came over him. He seemed larger this time, he seemed...darker. Valik howled so loud the whole kingdom could hear. He snarled, his giant and monstrous teeth showing under his curled lips. He looked between the two new enemies, deciding on which to kill first. Valik lunged at the Neko, biting at it's mechanical shoulder, aiming to tear off its arm with his giant jaws.

Boothe was jolted from his sleep. A howl. "Lilyann! Valerie!" he yelled up at them, grabbing his sword from the table and strapping it on. "The castle! They're at the castle! They need help!" It was all Boothe could manage to say in his state of panic. He couldn't wait for them, no, not with knowing his brother was in trouble. He burst through the door and into the streets, running as fast as he can, ignoring the pain in his bad leg.

The neko's mechanical arm fell to the ground with a crash, leaving it with no machinery besides its heart. It growled at Valik, then swung at him. Valik dodged with ease, but he wasn't expecting the neko's arm to swing back. Valik was thrown to the wall with such force he broke through it. He yelped at the impact, but was quickly on his feet again and attacking it more viciously. Valik lunged once more. This time getting it's jugular and tearing out it's throat. Valik was already stalking towards Marcus before the neko's body even hit the ground. With his giant jaw dripping with blood, it was easy to mistake him to be some sort of demon spawn. "Let her go," Valik growled demonically. "I won't ask you again." he came to a halt a yard away from Marcus. His eyes swirled red as if the neko's blood was brewing in his eyes.

Valik snapped his jaws at the air, sending blood spewing to the floor. He lunged at Marcus, attempting to pin him to the ground under his giant paws.

Boothe stood beside the two women, watching the scene. "Selia!" he ran to her, holding her head with his large hand, still gripping his bolster sword in his other hand just in case. "Selia, wake up." he gently shook her head. He looked up at Valik and Marcus.

Valik resisted at first, but could not resist the strength of the demon that possessed Marcus. It was as if his mind had rolled himself over. Though, Valik had no idea that Marcus was possessed. He thought Marcus was the demon.
"You think you're so strong," he said as the demon gripped at his thick, pulsing throat. He spit the blood from his lips at him. "You think you're so smart." he chuckled, his voice strained at the clenching of his throat. Behind Marcus, knives raised from the porcelain floor. A few seconds later the knives were just above Marcus. Then Valik's eyes faded, faded, faded, until they were white. "You were so wrong." he boomed in a new and stronger voice. The three knives rushed to find it's place in Marcus' body.

Boothe nearly dropped Selia's head both in reaction to the ink and what his brother was doing. He set her down and stood, gripping his sword. He looked to Valerie and Lilyann, wondering what the hell had come over his brother, what the hell was happening.

Valik felt the grip loosen suddenly. A smile spread across his face, for he hadn't used his powers in a long, long time. Not since he had met Crystal.
Valik stood on all fours, watching as Marcus' body bent so unnaturally. Valik would have realized that Marcus was possessed if he was in his human form. But in this form, his mind was always clouded. All he cared about was blood. Boothe slowly walked over to the group, holding his sword out in case the demon would attack them when it escaped the man's body. Yep. Sebastian really will love this.

Sebastian woke to feel a strange warmth next to him. Lady. "Now, now," Lady said smoothly, gliding her slender hands over his forehead. "Don't get up too fast. You blacked out in a coughing fit you had." she said. Sebastian didn't say anything, just looked at her. He let her take care of him. Feed him, wash his face, give him water. She seemed to love it. Donnie was in the tent with them, polishing his spear at Sebastian's cot. Donnie was the one who carried him here.

Valik looked wildly at the demon, realizing Marcus was possessed. Boothe nodded at the command and picked his bolster sword up in the air, then with a quick force the large sword cut through the demon's scrawny neck. It was done. Boothe sighed as the disgusting body screeched as it fell to pieces, looking like black shards of glass. Valik changed into a human again. His eyes still wee white, but were slowly returning to normal. "Jesus," Boothe breathed.
