 "Welcome. And yeah, this Tauros is. I think I'll nickname him Bedsheet or something." Lamen started taking the tent parts out and lining them up in categories while the two trainers spoke. "...Excellent. This way, if I make any mistakes it'll be on someone elses tent. Mwa ha ha!" (Her fake boisterous evil laugh was impeccable.)
Before she knew it, a commotion had begun nearby a tree. From the looks of it, Meowths were darting around and people were trying to catch them. "Wow. Coordinating with one of those would probably be hard, from how they're running so haphazardly. But yeah, I'm... I dunno, a researcher? Part time trainer? I've done some coordinating, too- it's pretty fun. I'd love to see one of your shows. And hey there, are you here to help pitch the tent?" Lamen grinned at the new arrival. "I'm Lamen. Nice to meet you."

"Cool." Pen took a seat and shoveled noodles into her face. She looked up from the plate with some spaghetti still hanging from her mouth. "I'm Pen, what's your name? Aren't you interested in those Meowth?"

Tinnunculus "Geez.." Alex clicked the phone shut, stowed it in his pocket, and went about setting up the tent again. Without distracting little sisters, it didn't take too long.
Once done, he meandered over to the gathering group around the fire. "She tell you to wear the footie pajamas, squirt?" he asked, ruffling Penelope's hair. The brunette took a plate from the stack, smiling in greeting at another person doing the same.(( Open to anyone around the fire/eating. ))  Lumina peered up as another of the red members showed up. She waved towards him, "Join in, partake in Lucine's noodles." The watcher cast a sidelong glance to her friend, then amended with a chuckle, "Sorry, Lucine's mom's noodles."

 Robin watched with interest as the other trainers tossed Pokeballs at the Meowth emerging from the bushes. He continued gnawing at the Pokeblock, stroking his Onix's nose. Taking care of a rental for a week was one thing, but he wasn't sure he'd be able to support a Pokemon of his own. He left the wild Meowth to the others.

BlackPidgeot Several trainers seemed to take interest in the Meowth, and one of them managed to catch it. Oh well. It was too pink anyway.
"Well actually... I do have some of these..." Brianna said as she sat and pulled out some pink deserts. "Snowball, anyone?" Talk about irony.
She then got herself a helping of spaghetti while Brutus went off to graze.  At the word 'snowball', Lucine's head snapped around. "SNOWBALL!" She cried and quite nearly pounced Brianna.
"They're my favorites!" she sighed and looked hopefully at the other girl.

Two cat pokemon down, how many more left?
The fight in the branches of the tree had been reduced from sounds of spitting and yowls to hisses and threatening growls. Below this, if one listened closely, they could hear the paniced whimpers and tiny sobs of whatever the Meowth were trying to drive out of their home. They sounded ready for a full, final assault when...
A sudden, blinding flash lit up the tree and a violent explosion rang out; a powerful bolt of lightning, seemingly from out of nowhere, raced from the heavens and lit up the tree of a blaze of raging flames.
One set of the angry sounds turned to panic and a feline-like shape could be seen admist the flames, racing away to get to safety.

Jamais sighed softly with a shrug, batter luck next time perhaps. She looked around curiously wondering curiously, she didn't really know anyone. As a mechanic that was a slight unfortunate detail, who knows if anyone of these guys needed a mechanic to fix something for them.
She seemed to be watching for someone to talk to. As she stroked the rental ponyta.

Donut was giggling his ghostly buttocks off at Corn when she actually pulled out a pokemon. Uh oh, whenever this happened, it was bad news. Why hadn't he noticed? No battle! Nonono- oh wait. The Gengar cackled and pointed at the Eevee, his eyes growing to perhaps twice their usual size as he approached the furry pokemon. "GENNNNN!"
