As Tristan moved her arm, Elly met his eyes and listened to him very intently. His eyes were so mesmerising and she found herself becoming lost in them. When he kissed her cheek gently, she froze up like she was just shot. The butterflies seemed to flutter even more than before, like they were trying to escape "I guess we are both thrill seekers, huh?" she said and giggled a bit, looking up into his eyes again, his face very close to hers. She blushed as they stared at each other and then Elly closed her eyes, not sure what would happen next, her heart racing.

User ImageTristan couldn't help but chuckle, shrugging his shoulders lightly. "An unhealthy habit, hehe." He suddenly blushed when he noticed how close they were, staring back at her until she closed her eyes. His heart was racing right along with hers, finding himself sitting up stock straight almost like a board that had been bent over and allowed to snap back up. Clearing his throat, he felt like a wimp but he didn't want to risk rushing anything. Hell, he wasn't even sure what they were at this point in time.

He sat there for a couple of seconds just holding her hands, rather content despite how his nerves were nipping at him. "So um... would you like me to go to allow you to rest or should I stay? Or I mean, would you rather I stay?" He asked, somehow managing to keep most of his nerves from reaching his voice.

Elly opened an eye to see Tristan sitting up straight, her hands in his. She was a bit disappointed, though she would never show it, and passed it off as though she were about to yawn and then did so. As he asked her if she wanted him to leave, she shook her head. "No, i'd rather you stay here, perhaps until I go to sleep? I am quite tired since it's night time and I haven't regained energy yet. But I do not want to be alone cause im scared..." she confessed, something about what she went through made her want to be around people a lot more. She even grabbed Tristans shirt and looked up at him, her eyes saying 'please' as she brought up a blanket at her side, her movements not hurting her now.

User Image(( hehehe, so he's a little dense. xD))

Tristan was berating himself for not taking the chance, his inner mind almost like a gathering of twenty little hims all shouting different things. They ended up fighting and ended up deciding they wanted some coffee and so went off to get some. Oi... he sometimes wondered about what happened up there... Looking down to her as she answered his question, truthfully he was relieved, a faint smile on his lips. "Sure." As she grabbed his shirt his eyes widened a bit, a blush rising to his cheeks and not all from sincere thoughts. Aiya... he was a terrible man...

Recomposing himself, he grinned and let go of her hand to salute, mocking a rather serious face. "Yes ma'am! Guardman Tristan reporting for duty!" He spoke all sternly, but ended up laughing, his hand almost hesitating as he moved to brush some hair from her face. Ugh. He was such a dork. Idiotidiotidiotidiotidiot.....

At the display Tristan gave, Elly couldn't help but laugh out loud at his silliness. It hurt to laugh that hard and Elly winced a bit, but that didn't stop her from chuckling. "Tristan, did I ever tell you that you are too much for me?" she told him with a smile, not meaning it to be taken litterally, but as in she liked him a lot too.

But what really was the reacon why she liked Tristan? Was it because he was the first person this year to talk and hang out with her? No that wasn't it... perhaps it was because he liked her fromt he start.. but how was she to know that? Maybe it was everything about him. Elly couldn't decide but agreed it was because he was special, though it was embarassing to actually say that.

User ImageTristan started when he saw her wince, almost starting to fret when she kept chuckling. Blinking, he gave a nervous grin, scratching the back of his head. "No, I don't believe you have." He chuckled, knowing he always aimed to bring smiles and laughter to people, but it was still good to know he succeeded. Especially considering he had almost caused her great worry earlier by what he had done.

Speaking of calming people... He had a thought. "If it would help, I could play something on my guitar if you'd like. I know it helps Vira when she's having a bad night or day." He offered, not really sure how she'd feel about that. "Hehe... I guess it sounds kinda corny, but I figured I'd offer." oh wait, since he had a new body, did that mean he still new how to play? Much less sing? s**t... I guess I have to hope that my soul can do all the work. I'll have to see.

Ooo... Elly liked the sound of a guitar and also someone telling her that they wanted to play for her. One thing she loved to do was watch, listen and humm to songs, even if she never heard of it before. She grabbed the big stuffed duck on her side and hugged it, the position hurting for a moment but stopped as she got comfortable, rolling on her side. Boy did she hate not being able to move around. How was it that she was going to function tomorrow, everyone doing things for her. It was something she wouldnt be able to do, she knew it. "Guitar sounds great! If it's not too much trouble. It'll help sooth me mind" she told him and smiled, yawning issuing out after that.

User ImageHe was concerned whenever she moved and it seemed to hurt, though she seemed fine after some readjusting so he didn't say anything about it. He did grin, phew... that would also help him relax. Getting up from the bed, his hands slid from hers, finally having to brush some loose hairs from his eyes. "Fantastic! I'll be right back." With that, he was out the door, running down the hall to his room, finding Vira curled up in her bed with Cielo. To find her asleep already was surprising. Well, then again... she had had a rather emotionally exhausting day.

Careful not to make too much noise, he grabbed his acoustic guitar, going back down the hall to Elly's room in a flash. He closed the door softly behind him, having to take his seat in the chair since he didn't want to bump her with anything. "Alright, lets just hope muscle memory carries across into spirits eh?" He smirked, placing the case down on the ground before opening it and taking out his baby. She was beautiful. Ebony with some mother of pearl inlay on the finger board.

Tuning it rather quickly, he thought over what he should try playing, at first just testing out a few chords to find that it would seem like he could still play. Another relief. With that, he soon set his fingers to the right strings, soon beginning to play. Taking a deep breath he sang along, though there were no real words. It was a simple yet enchanting song he found.

((ah, good choice in song!))

User Image

Elly felt the slipping oh his hands as rather lonesome, but she knew that he would be back soon to play for her. When he came back, a look of happiness was on her face as she lay there with her stuffed duck and watched him tune his guitar. Once he started playing, Elly watched his hands as they moved up and down the guitar strings. She listened to him sing, which was surprising considering she never heard him sing before. It was beautiful, just like his playing, and Elly couldn't not hum to the sound of the song. She closed her eyes and let her head weigh on the pillow, sleepiness taking over her eyes as she lay, still listening and humming. One would be ablet o tell that she had fallen asleep once her humming stopped, in which it hadn't yet.

Once the song was done playing, she opened her eyes and clapped her hands gently.
"Play me another one?" she asked politely and softly, her comfort level increasing as time went by.

User ImageHonestly, to hear her hum along, it made him smile. It made him wonder if he should start a band with the two of them with Vira on second guitar. He glanced over and saw her with her eyes closed, reminiscing when he had first taken her back to her room after she had fallen asleep on him, a faint blush rising to his cheeks. He remembered how he had felt then, unconsciously comparing it to now. And well... they couldn't. He felt so much more calm and content now than he did then.

Strumming the last chord, he grinned at her clapping, suddenly gaining a serious face as he bowed all importantly as if he had been on stage or something. Chuckling as he straightened up, raising an eyebrow at her request. "Hmm... I suppose I could. Haha, just kidding. Whatever my lady asks." He smiled, taking a moment to think over what else could be played.

Ah-ha, he knew a good one. Grabbing his capo from his case, he placed it on at the right point, pausing as he remembered this song. "Vira and I learned this together after we heard a recording in a store once. We played it at the corner we performed at in the park." He explained softly, remembering those times with a bittersweetness that still warmed him. "Anyways, here we go..." He began to strum, already able to recall the drumbeats in the back ground, then the second guitar that would come in. His voice rose softly, gentle as he felt the song should be treated. But it was clear he held emotional ties to it. He could tell it was written as a tribute towards someone that the band had lost, and for him, he applied it to the family he didn't have.

(( Heehee, I know! It's a personal favorite. ^_^ Thank you Jimmy Eat World for this song. don't mind the video. It was one of the few with good quality sound. xP ))

User ImageIt was just something he'd thought of from the top of his head. A possible reason. He didn't know how the Elders worked, or how she and Sheryl were made. It was really just a guess on his part. Something she could think on if she was puzzled too much by it. The Greeks, Seiji had read something on them once. No wonder he didn't like these Elders. Toying with people like puppets. Made or born, no one should be toyed with simply for someone's amusement.

Flush? Warm, full of life. It seemed like Ranka was trying to piece something together, or to remember something. Maybe it was the memory she had experienced earlier. Having stopped os suddenly, Seiji let his eyes rest upon her wondering what was wrong. "Hm?" As she leaned in toward him, Seiji thought something must have happened. Her simple reply made him think so. Better not to tread on thin ice. "Alright. So then....I guess we're kind of free to do whatever we like." Seiji said, letting the topic fade.

User ImageAs the topic faded into silence, she listened as some crickets came out and chirped in the night air. Raising her gaze, she nodded once, glancing around. "Indeed. Is there anything you wish to do?" She asked, herself not really sure what couples did. It wasn't like she or her sister really did anything for fun before. They were used to having to keep an eye on things 24/7 and thus work. It wasn't like they ever just relaxed for once. It was impossible for them to.

"I'm afraid my sister and I don't really know anything 'fun' to do. Forgive me if I defer to you too much." She said softly, the moons pale light making her skin seem to glow, her hair shimmering. Yes, this was when she felt most comfortable. The darkness of the night.

((i love this song!!!))

User Image

Elly listened to the song with particular interest, the lyrics in it made her cry. At first she just listened to it, but then she realized that somewhere through it she started thinking of her brother. She really really wished that she could have thanked him for being her brother. She really wished he were there with her now. She then thought of her parents, who had to go through what they did with herself and the thought of their only son dying from the hands of their only daughter. The way Tristan sang it sounded so sad and by the time he was done play/singing it, she was weeping and attempting to whipe them away. "I-I'm sorry for crying like this. The song was so sad that I couldn't help it," she said, giggling at her crying but also crying because of the song 'Tristan you dummy!' she thought to herself.

User ImageTristan felt that familiar pain and resentment settle into his chest as he thought of his parents who had only found such comfort in death than in life. He had gotten so lost in that, that he hadn't realized she was weeping till he was almost done. Startling out of it, he did finish, but felt guilt well up in his throat. Uuuuuuugggh, IDIOT!! You made her cry!! "N-No no! It's ok! I... I'm sorry I made you cry. God I'm such an idiot." He said quickly, placing down his guitar carefully as he rose from his chair, sitting down on her bed again.

He wasn't sure if he should, but he gently pulled her up and held her close, hoping he wasn't hurting her. Though, it seemed like she could move around more without pain. Still, better to be safe than not. He sighed, one hand on the back of her head, the other rubbing her back lightly in what he hoped was a comforting way. "Sorry for being a dummy, I should have thought over it more when I chose what song to play." He apologized again softly, his arms somewhat loose in case she wanted to pull away.

User ImageThis was all very understandable. Even if Seiji didn't know anything of the twins until before two days ago, he knew enough now to see why this was so. Having to watch over the realms of Life and Death were a great deal of responsibility. It wasn't a task for just anyone. Though now that he and Ranka were in a sense together, he hoped he wouldn't get in the way of the things she needed to do. "It's no trouble," he replied. "Well, I guess we could just sit around here for awhile. Most people together just like to be with each other."

Just being with her made him feel better. It wasn't any surprise she didn't know what else to do. After all, this was her first relationship in a sense. She was still learning about emotions, nevermind romance or fun. "People don't always have to do something to be having fun. I'm enjoying just being next to you," Seiji admitted, smiling.
