 Lisa watched Dan as he reacted to this strange man suddenly sweeping her away and into his arms. It amazed her how he reacted, and how angered he was by the man's actions. She wasn't the happiest of people either, but the knowledge that he was defending her was very reassuring and it made her happy. In fact the deep voice that Dan now bore frightened even her.The cosplayer who was dressed up as Mustang sensed the urgency of the situation, and he felt the threats in the angered tone. He put his hands up before him as if to defend himself. "As you were Brigadier General." he said and saluted before he turned and quickly left the couple together.

When the guy left Dan stayed as he was for a moment longer before his shoulders suddenly drooped and all the muscles in his body seemed to relax as he turned back to face Lisa and smiled.
"Sorry about not being able to stop that guy sooner. I didn't realize how far he would go with that game of his." Dan said as he put his arms around Lisa's shoulder's gently. "I am glad he backed down as fast as he did. I didn't want to ruin our time here because of one loser taking advantage of your beauty."
Dan hugged Lisa affectionately wishing the guy did not decide to go for a stroll here while they were together. He was irritated about being slapped but his anger swelled so fast back there it was hard to control it when he saw the stranger violate Lisa with his lips.
"I know I can get a little scary when I lose my temper but....that guy...how dare he be so formal with you? It would be one thing if a friend of yours gave you a peck on the cheek but that guy is lucky I didn't belt him for being so stupid." Dan said softly to her as he held her.

Lisa wrapped her arms around Dan and snuggled close to his body. She sighed, a big breath of air, making her feel even smaller in his arms. "Thank you." She said softly, finally after she processed what was going on. "Thank you for defending me Dan." She said softly. Her arms tightened around him and she closed his eyes. There was no way she was going to let him go now. Her body shook slightly with surprise, but more than anything she just held him to have him in her arms.
The gentle breeze picked up again, a little cooler now than before. It brushed past Lisa's stocking covered legs and ruffled the short skirt. She shivered now from the breeze, but still she clung to Dan. "Thank you Dan." She whispered again. "I love you." She said and pulled her head away from his chest to look up into his eyes. Her heart thumped along eagerly as she awaited the next movement from Dan. Her lips were slightly parted as she stared up into his eyes and waited breathlessly.

Dan felt Lisa shiver slightly and he wasn't sure if it was because of the suddenly cool wind, possible fear, or the sudden drop of adrenaline in her body. Suddenly she looked up and into his eyes. Her lips parted and looked so sweet to Dan plump and moist. Was it possible after that incident she still wanted her first kiss here?
"I will always try to protect you dear lady. My love for you gives me an amazing strength to do that very thing." Dan said as he began to lower down to press his lips against hers.
Unfortunately as he began to descend one of two children accidentally ran into Dan's knee making him yelp in surprise and miss the mark once more as he stumbled sideways so he did not fall. "Sorry mister." The young child said as he went running off with the other child in close pursuit.
"I am starting to wonder if I am somehow suffering some kind of Karmic retribution for something I did wrong." Dan said with a sigh as he he straightened himself and brushed himself off. "I guess this means the day I am able to finally kiss you it will have to be perfect eh." Dan smiled warmly as he returned to hugging Lisa under the Sakura Trees.

Lisa looked away from Dan and blushed. Even after the first incident Lisa felt that would have been a good time. Dan had, after all, stood up for her when that creeper took her away from him. Then there were the kids. She watched them as they scampered away. She had tried to catch him, to be his support, but everything happened so quickly.
Tossing her head she brushed her hair back over her shoulder and looked contently up at Dan. She smiled a good hearted, warm smile. She raised her hand to lay against his neck. "You didn't do anything wrong Dan, if anyone did it would probably be me. I'm the one who asked you to come here and came here without telling anyone if my family that I would be meeting you. But then again, perhaps something is telling us that we should wait, maybe a better time will come." She leaned forward and wrapped him tightly in her arms. "We'll wait, perhaps some perfect time will come. I can't wait for that moment though. I can't wait till we can share our loves." She giggled softly and blushed. She rested her chin on his chest and stared up into his eyes. "I love you Dan." She said softly.

Dan blushed slightly as well at the thought of being so close to Lisa not only in embrace but how close their lips have come time and again without actually kissing. A flash of the guy that left almost kissing her came to mind but he pushed it back not wanting to ruin this moment with a fools antics.
"I love you to Lisa. I can never say it enough to truly express how much I feel within me and it seems to build every time we touch or talk. I feel a great comfort from everything we do together and I too look forward to when sometime I can press my lips against yours gently and complete my contract of love with you." Dan said looking back into her eyes smiling. " Dan couldn't help but inwardly groan a little while keeping his happy exterior as he embraced Lisa. The line was a little corny even for him but it was true in his mind that a kiss was kinda like a contract of love that two people join through saliva.

 "You do know, that guy didn't steal my first kiss." Lisa said softly. "He just wanted to make you think he did." She said as her hand traced his jawline. Her mind swam in the clearness of his eyes. She sighed, picturing a moment of heavenly bliss between a couple united by the greatest sacrifice.
Lisa shook her head and laughed. Dan's words were so sweet, so unbelievably sweet. She didn't care if they seemed corny. Sometimes it was those things that took a woman's heart away from her. Lisa loved everything about her new found love. She bowed her head and whispered into his collarbone. "I can't wait for that moment." She said softly. With that she gently kissed the spot and placed her hand over it to seal her kiss. Ironically the spot was directly over Dan's heart. She could feel its strong beat as it beat under her light fingertips.
She looked up into his smiling face and asked softly. "So, would you like to go join that group over there and play that game with them? It's a variation of spin the bottle, only when the bottle lands on you they glomp you. It's super fun!" She exclaimed as she continued to gently touch his face.

Dan wasn't sure he wanted to be glomped by strangers at a convention or not but his mind was so at peace even if her kisses on his chest excited him. Her hand gently touching his face melted away any doubts as her eyes seem to tell him everything was going to be alright.
"How can I say no to a game you think is fun." Dan said rubbing his face against her hand like a cat. "I don't even pretend to understand being embraced by strangers being as fun as hugging you but I am willing to try anything."

Dan followed Lisa like an obedient puppy with his arm being a leash as Lisa managed to get on the wall without flashing herself as her dress settled properly. He watched where she pointed as people ran at one another and crushed their victim in a crushing hug. It was apparent it was a girls game primarily since considerably less guys were playing then girls. Besides guys are all that known for hugging strangers or even friends generally.
"It certainly is an interesting game. Since it is just harmless fun I don't see why not join in and see what happens." Dan said snaking his arm around Lisa's waist and gently massaging her leg. "If you are up to I say why not."

Lisa giggled. She placed her hand on his, a slight motion to ask him to stop, at least here. He had found one of her many ticklish spots, and she didn't want to end up hurting him in her laughing hysterics if he continued his touch. She lifted up her leg and placed it cris-crossed over the other. She leaned down to hug him from this height, and to kiss the top of his head. With another joyful giggle she jumped forward off the wall, and with a controlled flurry of her short skirt she landed gracefully beside Dan.
"Are you ready to go?" She asked as she took his hand again and prepared to walk over to the group to ask if they could play.

*S-sure." Dan said as gently escorted Lisa to the ring with one arm around her waist and holding her hand and the other hand held her hand as though leading in a dance. He looked for an opening as they got to the group and some people seeing them coming up moved over opening up some spots for the two of them. "Looks like they want us to joining the circle my dear. After you.

Lisa had never really played the game. She usually just watched, never being brave enough to actually walk up and join with the others. She was very happy now, and she felt the strength growing with Dan standing behind her. She nodded to the person who let them into the game. "Thanks," She said softly as she and Dan took their spots. She smiled over at him and winked, hoping to give him the support and strength he might need. "This will be fun Dan, okay." She said and squeezed his hand. Before turning to join the game she smiled at Dan and whispered, "I love you."

"I love you too." Dan said back to Lisa as they held hands entering the circle. The sound of a camera and flash went off not far away. Not an uncommon sound since they arrived and Dan wondered if some person was taking pictures of the two of them or of everyone around them. He realized they were probably as much targets as anyone here for the cameras and videos of others. Dan was glad he was not the type that got embarrassed easily as he raised Lisa's hand up to his lips and kissed her knuckles ready for the next spin.

Lisa smiled over at Dan and blew a kiss back at him with a flirty wink. She vaguely noticed that they were drawing attention to themselves. She blushed brightly and looked back toward the game. A chant was shouted before the bottle was thrown up into the air by a young lady dressed in a very revealing outfit. It landed, skipping around the circle till it pointed to someone. To Lisa's surprise it stopped pointing in their direction, but more than her's it was pointed towards Dan. She looked over at him and laughed before releasing his hand so that the strange girl could give him the hug. Lisa forced herself to be a good sport as the girl would hug her boyfriend. After all it was she who wanted to play in the first place.
