Hands were grabbing him, holding him. Vaguely, he made out a voice, but it was beyond him what that voice was saying. Then there was a harsh strike to his face. Eyes focusing on Micheal, it didn't quite register to the angel that it was his beloved there holding him. With the pain of that slap, all he could see was the face of the white clad demon, laughing, mocking him, inflicting horrors he couldn't stand to think about upon him. "No more!!!!" the tenshi shrieked, a holy fire summoned around him, exploding out, knocking Micheal into the wall and blowing the bedroom door right off its hinges and into the living room where everybody else was.

Micheal hit the wall hard enough to grey out his vision for a moment. The burning nearly drove him mad, and he gave a hoarse cry of pain. When the wave had passed him, he fell hard on the floor, trying to keep his human form by will alone. At best, he was singed, at worse, well he felt like he'd been thrown into a pot of burning pitch. The demon didn't stop to think about who else might be affected by Otori's spell, he just struggled toward the angel, ignoring his own pain. "Stop it. Nothing here can hurt you." He reached out a cracked and burnt hand to grab hold of Otori again. "If you don't stop, Anyone nearby looking for you will find us." The demon was very close to pleading, "Love please, come back."
((MMM crispy demon anyone?))

Rising from the bed, Micheal was no longer the innocent scholar he once was. In his eyes was only a fiery rage, a primal drive to protect himself. He would destroy anything that posed a threat to him. Even if that threat was only in his mind. With a great flap of his wings, the angel sent a gust of air spinning through the room, sending papers, books, and small items flying. Emitting an aura of gold, Otori clenched his fists, leaning back as he let loose a roar to the heavens.

Micheal backed away covering his face with one arm. "Otori. Stop!" The roar threatened to deafen him, if not everyone else nearby. For lack of anything better to do, he leapt at the angel, trying to pin him to the bed. He hoped that, it would shock Otori out of his rage before he started raining down hammers of god or anything equally as painful. Black feathered wings sprouted from his back, the damage from the fire and the pain from the roar broke his control over his human form.
Before he lost all control of it, he leaned forward and kissed Otori, expecting any moment to be tossed away. For all that he was a demon, he didn't have any wish to harm his love, even if that meant his own death.

He would unleash a fury from heaven that would cleanse all evil. He would purify the wicked and pass judgment on the damned. He would destroy all that had ever stood to harm him. He would...until those lips met his. Warm lips cracking through the chill that ran through his broken soul. "Micheal..." Otori whispered, the fiery aura settling into a calm glitter. He was here...with Micheal...his Micheal, no man in white harming him, no more fear, only his demon...and a well demolished bedroom. "Oh Micheal...you saved me. You finally saved me!" the tenshi cried, wrapping his wings and arms around the singed demon in the midst of the miniature apocalypse.

"I think you both going to your apartment would be a good idea. Just... keep your cell on. I don't want you hanging up on me again, got it?" Watari asked with a raised eyebrow before heading toward the bedroom door to let Micheal know what was happening. At least until the door came flying off it's hinges. The scientist barely dodged, and luckily neither Tsuzuki nor Muraki were in the immediate path of the flying wood. They WERE, however, in the funneled path of a rather fiery spell. It was as if a fireball had exploded in his bedroom, and in an instant, Watari had stepped to the side, moving his hands to erect a barrier around himself, Tsuzuki, and Muraki. It held... barely... and as the last of those explosive flames licked the shield, it crumbled... and lit Watari's coat on fire. Cursing, the shinigami threw his coat off and stomped on the flames. "MICHEAL-SAN?!" the blond shouted, running to the bedroom door and looking in. Watari couldn't help wincing. "You... you blew up my bedroom... what the hell happened?"
For his own part, Muraki was standing there in shock, completely blown away that something like this had happened. "A... Asato?" the doctor had no idea that the angel was even in the bedroom, let alone where all that power came from.

Micheal didn't quite wince when Otori wrapped his arms around him. "Glad you're back." He said, managing to keep his own pain out of his voice. At least that much he had control over, after all, this was minor compared to what had happened to him at the will of his master. "Saved you?" He blinked, confusion on his face. He cleared his throat and looked over at Watari. If anything he ducked his head under Otori's wings. "Saving you from the hammer of god?"

"Ok. Then that's what we'll do. I'll see to it my phone is on, and we'll meet here in the morn....oh shi...." Tsuzuki grabbed Muraki, pulling him to the side Watari was leaping toward. "It's ok, Kazu...I've got you." the brunette held the doctor close, back turned to the direction the flames were shooting from just in case. He was prepared to take the burn for Muraki if need be. He couldn't express how thankful he was for the blond's quick reaction to the flames. They might have survived that...maybe...but Muraki, had he been caught up in that, would have perished instantly, perhaps even with Tsuzuki's body taking the brunt of the force. The fire passed and the barrier faded. Tsuzuki let go of Muraki and marched past Watari, right into the bedroom. "Does somebody care to explain just what the hell that was? Huh?" the shinigami bellowed angrily, purple eyes seeming to glow. It was nearly impossible to make Tsuzuki angry, but this...whatever this was...had succeeded. Not only had that nearly cost Kazutaka his life and Tsuzuki and Watari a very painful, slow healing, it had completely demolished Watari's bedroom.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"You saved me...from myself, Micheal." Otori answered back, sitting up slightly, running his hands over the demon's burned but healing form. "Oh god...look at what I've done to you." he lamented, just before Watari and Tsuzuki came into the room. Watari he worried about, preparing to apologize profusely...but when Tsuzuki charged in, so terribly angry, the angel shrank back, fearing retribution.
"Tsuzuki-chan, your yelling isn't helping." Watari spoke, his amber eyes flashing dangerously as he moved to get between the amethyst-eyed shinigami and the angel demon duo. "Ootori-san's under a lot of stress. Don't forget, YOU destroyed the library. Yes you were demon possessed, but you still did it. Ootori-san isn't to blame, any more than you were. It was an accident... on both occasions." If there was one thing the scientist hated... it was fire. At least fire that he himself wasn't in control of...
For his part, Muraki was just relieved that no one aside from Micheal was hurt. He stood, watching from the doorway as the two shinigami exchanged words with the pair in the bedroom. 'He saved you this time... can he do it again?' Turning around, Muraki scanned the room for the source of the voice. "Saki..." the doctor whispered, knowing it was his brother. But how... he should be sealed away tightly... right?
Tsuzuki gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, staying his hand and biting his tongue per Watari's request. "Fine." he ground the word out, then paused, eyes widening when he heard Muraki whisper. "Kazu? What is it? What did you say? Did you say, Saki?" The brunette shinigami was visibly nervous now. Too much going on, too much danger, too much at risk. He wanted to just whisk Muraki away right then and there. Turning his eyes to Watari, then back to Muraki, he waited for whatever was coming next.
"It... it's nothing..." Muraki replied, looking back to Tsuzuki. "Really... I must've just been hearing things. Maybe the explosion corrupted my ear drums." Of course, if he could explain it away with logic... that would make everything better. Right?
Furrowing his brow, the shinigami walked up to the doctor, putting his hands on the man's shoulders and looking into his silvery eyes. "Are you sure? What did you hear? Don't write anything off Kazu...things are crazy, I know, but you can never be too careful, even if things seem unlikely, that doesn't mean they won't happen." Tsuzuki felt a great deal of fear inside him, the fear he had been suppressing wanted to let itself be known. It felt like a living being twisting in his guts. If Saki were able to break free, Tsuzuki wouldn't be able to do much right now. He didn't think anyone would be able to do too much. Not without sacrificing everything. It was a terrible situation, and he needed Muraki to be honest about everything that he felt until this was dealt with.
"It's nothing, really..." Muraki replied, grey eyes focusing on Tsuzuki. "I just thought... well, I thought to myself, wondering if you could protect me if something like that were to happen again and... and well I thought it sounded like Saki but... it's really just my mind playing tricks on me. It's nothing." The doctor really did believe this. After all, he'd been under a ton of stress... it was only natural that he have a few auditory hallucinations...
