I write my real name アダム・ハイガード ("Adamu Haigaado" -- "Adam Higerd"), but I generally prefer to use my pen name when working in Japanese because it was a lot easier to make more natural-sounding: 光田高地 (こうだ・たかち "Kouda Takachi", yes I know that the surname is usually spelled "Mitsuda"). The surname is pronounced the same way as my avatar's first name, and the given name means "high ground" -- that is, "high land".

Edit: By the way...

Bishielurfer: You might consider using a translation of your middle name instead of just a transliteration. The Japanese word for "autumn" is 秋 (あき "aki"), which works fairly well as a name -- I knew a girl in college that used it.

Alisa: You... might want to search for some other kanji. ^^() Those three translate to something along the lines of "less than jasmine silk."
