((This event takes place a few days before Snowy's arc begins.)) A very sweaty and nervous Supreme Imperator entered the library. The last few days had been a waking nightmare for him. He had come to find one of the nobles, but he hoped it would be Hrothbert first. If it had been Emma, the Imperator wasn't sure how he would react. Remus pulled a book off one of the shelves, trying to put his mind elsewhere.

Both the nobles were curled up on a nearby couch, and (unfortunately for Remus) both were in some state of undress. The sorcerer had his shirt unbuttoned halfway, Emma's hair hung loose around her shoulders and her low-cut bodice had a few laces undone.
It was unclear which one noticed the Imperator first, but their clothing seemed to magically right itself as they stood.
"Remus. We didn't hear you come in."

Remus jumped with a little squeak. Seeing Emma's cleavage, even for a second, was not to pleasant for his already sexually repressed mind. A bright red blush came over his face.
"E-Emma....t-thats...a good look for you..." he muttered, biting his fingernails.

The sorcerer knew that look. Silvered eyebrows shot up into his hairline, and he shared a glance with Emma.
It had been a while since the enchantress had inspired that look in anybody but him. While it was a boost to her confidence to see it again, it was also quite worrisome.
"Something wrong? You don't look well." The elf took a few steps forward, examining Remus' features.

"Emma, please don't come any closer. Please..." Remus begged. His urges were beginning to stir and he didn't know how much longer he could hold them in. The Imperator shot a look at Hrothbert. It was one of desperation but there also seemed to be a jealous hatred in his eye. It was fairly obvious at this point that Remus wasn't himself.

Emma blinked in surprise, not looking at Remus' mind out of respect for his privacy.
Hrothbert had no such reservations.
"Step back."
"But-"
"Now."
The enchantress wavered for a moment, but retreated eventually and with some confusion.

Remus felt a sigh of relief, but he was still a little nervous. He looked at the sorcerer, a little apologetically.
"I don't know what's wrong with me. It started a couple days ago. I don't think....it doesn't feel natural."

Hrothbert's eyes flashed as he further examined Remus' thoughts, sensing the magic that was woven into them. "You'll be pleased to know that it is not natural." There was an odd note in his voice, a protective impulse that was coming to the forefront. He had moved in front of Emma, hands still at his sides. "I take it you want it removed."

Remus was relieved at hearing Hrothbert's words and also relieved that Hrothbert moved in front of Emma.
"Please. I don't want some malicious curse hurting those I care about. The sooner the better."

"Well then-" The noble barely moved, but the air shifted around him as he loosed a single, well-crafted spell. If it worked, Remus would be knocked out instantly.
Emma eyed herself in a nearby mirror, strangely casual. "I don't see what all the fuss is about, really."
"You do have fantastic breasts, my dear." replied her husband as he knelt beside Remus, getting to work.

Being a synthetic human, it took a second for the spell to completely render him unconscious. After a few seconds, Remus finally drifted off. His thoughts would be easy to get into, since the landscape of Remus' mind was very organized, though slightly chaotic with information travel.

"Was that entirely necessary?" "I had no intention of letting him anywhere near you." "You're sweet. Sadistic, but sweet."
The sorcerer shrugged off the insult/compliment and dove into Remus' mental landscape, bracing himself for some particularly perverted images.

((I'll be off for awhile after this.))
Surprisingly, there were no sudden perverted images. Hrothbert found himself in what seemed like a circuit board, with several moving holographic screens showing numbers he wouldn't understand. Robotic looking creatures seemed to move bits of information around him, not seeming to notice he was there.

Technology. Fantastic.
The sorcerer took in his surroundings, searching for the outside interference which was causing Remus' malady.
No, malady was not the right term, was it? Emma deserved every ounce of that desire, it was simply not Remus' place to display it.
Besides, she was his, he thought with a sly smile.

All the information seemed to move in and out of a central hub. The hub itself was a rather high tower. Surrounding it were the various archival buildings and other areas of Remus' mind. All of the archival areas were a plain gray color. However, one such building had a pulsating reddish glow about it. It obviously had a corrupted file and it was feeding that corruption to the central hub.
