"How'd he pull that one off?" Riza wondered aloud as Surge's Electrike managed to slam his head into Diemia's chest. Diemia stumbled back a bit but she refused to relinquish her hold on the electric-type's leg. This would come at a big price however as suddenly a wave of crackling static seemed to ripple from Electrike's body and onto the Corphish, and suddenly she could no longer move her body as freely as before. 'Oh no," Riza thought as she saw the static. 'Diemia's paralyzed!' She frowned, knowing that this couldn't be a good thing. But then, a thought crossed her mind and she smiled. 'If Diemia can't move a muscle, then that means her vicegrip on Electrike's leg isn't going anywhere so in actuality this is a good thing!'

"Okay Diemia we've got them where we want them, so give Electrike a taste of your bubblebeam!" Riza shouted. So far this was going better than she thought it would. Diemia struggled against the paralysis that was trying to hold her back and she tried to raise her claw, but was unable to do so. Her other claw remained clamped down as well, though Riza figured that Electrike would probably be able to get himself free if he tried hard enough.

"So you've got an Elekid, huh? Lucky you," the boy said, nodding. "My name's Jimmy, by the way."

Katie nodded. "I'm Katie," she said. "Let's get this underway, then! Kord, use quick attack!" The Elekid nodded and rushed forward, quite eager to show Katie just how tough he was getting. A trail of white light followed behind him as he got closer and closer to the Bonsly.

"Okay! Bonsly, start out with fake tears," Jimmy called. The small bonsai Pokemon took a few steps forward, and suddenly began to shriek loudly, very exaggerated tears flowing down it's cheeks. This stopped Kord in his tracks as he suddenly wasn't so sure about attacking a Pokemon that was crying like that.

"Don't let Bonsly fool you, Kord," Katie called. "Those tears aren't real, it's just trying to get your guard down!"

"Now use copycat!" Jimmy yelled. Just like that Bonsly stopped crying and it ran forward, suddenly using quick attack like Kord just had. The now speedy rock-type slammed hard into the Elekid, knocking him heavily to the ground.

Though the Corphish was now paralyzed, Surge's expression didn't lighten. He clenched a fist, and narrowed his eyes. Perhaps he'd underestimated this girl. The paralysis prevented an attack this round, and Surge knew that it was a lucky break. His Electrike was in real pain from that Vicegrip as well, and he knew he had to get something to try and get the Corphish to let go. "I guess you've got us in a bit of a bind, Girly," he called, once again trying his hand at unnerving Riza by utilizing his favourite tactic - taunting. "But playtime's over! Electrike, Shock Wave, now!" he bellowed. It was a move he taught to all of his Pokemon, as not only was it Vermilion Gym's signature move, but it's unerring accuracy also made it a very reliable attack as well.

Electrike growled and struggled to free his leg from the Corphish's tight grip, knowing he'd have trouble moving around now that it was injured. The crushing pain in his limb also made it hard to focus, but upon hearing his master's order, he let out a howl before generating a fairly strong current of electricity which he directed from his own body into the Corphish.

Crenu couldn't help but feel a little excitement as he watched the match, he was a little unsure when Riza didn't have her pokemon dodge, but a smirk came to his face when she ordered vicegrip instead. "Heh, that was unexpected. But I woulda done that myself. She'd better be careful though, Static or not if the Ekectrike electrocutes her again Diemia might end up paralyzed." The next order wasn't an electric attack though, but a normal headbutt. This of course wasn't a bad attack, just not what he'd expected. But the opponent's leg was still secured by Diema's attack which was good for Riza, until Crenu noticed the static as well. "Hmm, that's not good..." He sighed as he continued to watch the battle, it seemed the paralysis had in fact gripped Diema and now she was paralyzed, giving surge another change to attack.

"Oh my, this is still anyone's match wouldn't you say? Oh but poor Diemia is paralyzed! This doesn't bode well at all for Riza. But Electrike's still trapped, one solid hit could bring her back in the race, maybe another vicegrip or something, oh this is so exciting! Hey don't just sit there Crenu, cheer for your 'friend'! Like this." he said nudging Crenu as he stood up. "Hang in there Riza honey, you're doing great! You to Diema, show that puppy who's boss of the pond!" He said in a loud voice waving over to them.

Crenu just shook his head as he looked at Kenneth. "I don't cheer." He said flatly watching the match. Sure enough Surge capitalized, sending out a powerful Shockwave at Riza's Corphish. "Hmm, that's a good move. Can Diema hold on?" He looked back at Ken and at Jaeshan, then he looked down at Eris. "...I'm sure she'll be alright." He said calmly, petting the little fire mouse. Yeah. Riza still had a chance at this, Corphish was tough.

Oh cool, Magneton! You're gonna be one of those some day, but not unless you work hard." He said grinning up at Zeus. The magnet pokemon just looked at him, then went about hovering and watching Jason to make sure he didn't do anything stupid again. Jason nodded eagerly when Kasi agreed to go with him and he followed without a moments waste. He left the center and the strange Porygon2, waving bye to Dante and Keegan, nearly falling over from the sight of the former getting beaned by a pokeball. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the small ghost pokemon coem out of the pokeball and took out his sketch pad. He was about to start sketching when Zeus suddenly floated into his view, his magnets starting to spark. "Uh, oops. Right. Let's go!" Jason spun on his heels and ran after Kasiya, they needed to hurry. The last thing Jason wanted to do was to miss the train and miss out on seeing this wondrous new land that was Sinnoh. Well he hoped it was wondrous, though Jason could find fun and excitement anywhere there were pokemon to observe. He wasn't exactly sure what he should buy, he wasn't exactly rich but some nice new extra equipment never hurt anyone. Maybe some specialty pokeballs for like water pokemon and stuff, if they were going on a boat then maybe he'd be lucky enough to catch himself something on the trip. Potions were always good, maybe a power up item like the one Zeus had for Atlas. or maybe not, who knew? "It would be nice to teach Zeus a steel type move, then he could fight with pokemon like Atlas and not be at a complete disadvantage..." He said mostly to himself as the gigantic building came into view. It was as big as he remembered it, maybe bigger! "...woh. Oh hey, thanks again for coming here with me. I've only been here a few times with my family on vacation when I was little, so I don't really know my way around."

"I think the laughter is what hurts the most." Dante grumbled as he cast a not so harsh glance at Keegan. Still he listened to what the other was saying and after a moment he glanced over at Kenny. "You have a tough time buddy?" He asked the cute, though Dante would never call it that, Duskull. The small ghost pokemon just looked at him through his glowing red eye and shrugged his ghostly shoulders. "Well if you want to travel with me again and Keegan doesn't mind you are always welcome back."

The ghost pokemon seemed to consider it for a moment before he nodded again and tried to hug Dante only to have the other boy freeze up. "Ok cold! Cold Kenny!" The small ghost pokemon let go of him and gave a muffled laugh to show that it had been on purpose. "Well say goodbye to Keegan then Kenny. Make sure you give him a big hug." Dante said with a grin glancing over at the red head still feeling a bit bitter about the laughter. Chuckling Kenny did just that floating over to Keegan and wrapping his ghostly arms around the other boy.

Turn A following Kasiya's orders floated through the double doors of the Pokemon Center and made his way to his trainer. The normal type pokemon was not at all disturbed by the ghost pokemon, a quick look up showed him that it was a Duskull. " Oh hello there Turn A. You all done inside now?" Dante asked patting the virtual pokemon on the head. Turn A just made an electronic sound and nodded. " All right good, you can meet a former team mate and now back on the team again pokemon. Kenny this is Turn A, Turn A this is Kenny." He introduced the two pokemon to each other and he could almost feel the instant dislike each of them had for each other. "Hm."

"Shock wave?" Riza repeated, frowning. That was one of those moves that wouldn't miss, baring the use of something like protect, which she knew Diemia could not use yet. She looked up at Surge, and frowned. She didn't like the way he kept talking down to her, though she guessed he felt like he could push others around just because he was so much bigger than everyone else. 'We'll show him,' she thought angrily. 'That big bully doesn't scare me!' She glared over at Surge once more and looked back to her Corphish as the shock wave coursed over her, causing tremendous damage. The jolt had caused Diemia to jump and without meaning to she loosened her grip on Electrike. She'd now withstood two strong electric attacks plus a headbutt and she was still standing, somehow, and Riza knew that the crab would never let her live it down if she pulled her out now. 'One more hit and Diemia's toast, so we'd better make it a good one. Too risky to chase down Electrike for another vicegrip, as it might use that shock wave again. Aha I know just what to do!' Riza glanced back towards Ken as she heard him cheering, and she smiled, giving the group a thumbs up.

"Diemia!" she called, hoping the crab could stave off paralysis this time around, "bring your claws together and use a bubblebeam from both!" she shouted. If two heads were better than one, two bubblebeams had to be better than one, as well. The Corphish was looking quite tired as she did as she was told, raising up both her claws and positioning them together before she loosed a double wide barrage of glimmering blue bubbles at the Electrike.

Eris had been watching the battle quite closely, though the sight of those powerful attacks being exchanged were almost too scary for her to handle. When she felt Crenu petting her she looked up at him gratefully before scurrying up onto his lap.

"So we have a copycat on our hands do we?" Katie chuckled as Kord picked himself up, static buzzing around his body. "Well I'd like to see you copycat this one. Kord, show them your cross chop," she said. The Elekid growled and rushed towards the bonsai Pokemon even as it started crying, but he wasn't going to fall for that again! He raised his now glowing hands up high and swung them both down at the same time, creating an x patter as he smashed the cross chop square into the Bonsly's chest. Not only was the hit super effective and quite strong, but the constant static on Kord's body crackled as it took effect and paralyzed the bonsai Pokemon.

"Oh man, not cross chop," Jimmy said, shaking his head. "If your Elekid was older he'd probably be able to help you out against Roark," he said. "Okay Bonsly, copycat again!" The rock Pokemon struggled to get to his feet against the paralysis and once he did he rushed towards Kord and jumped up into the air. Since he didn't have any hands two of the 'branches' on his head extended so that he could execute the chopping attack back on his attacker.

"Try to dodge, Kord!" Katie called, but the young Elekid could only sidestep so far and he felt one of the branches slam into him, and he stumbled back again.

"It was nice hanging with you, Kenny," Keegan said, though it was muffled as Kenny had decided to hug his head. "Even if it was just for a few hours." The Duskull seemed quite happy to be returning to his former trainer, and Keegan couldn't help but grin. Dante had been through a rough time and he was happy to lend a hand if he could. It was odd, though, for as he'd gained three Pokemon yesterday, he'd given two away already this morning, and he was suddenly very aware of the empty slot he now had on his roster, wondering which of his Pokemon he'd bring back into his party, and he thought about the conversation with his mother. Surely she was just biased, right? He was the last person in Hoenn that should be labeled as 'responsible.'

He patted the pocket that held his PokeNav, surprised and a little disappointed that he hadn't received a call from his cousin yet. The more he thought about it, the more he knew Miharu would be the perfect trainer for Mori. Miharu had always had a bit of a fear of fire type Pokemon, with the only exception being the Ponyta and Rapidash family. Maybe that'll change, he thought idly, looking over at Dante as he'd introduced the Duskull to his new Porygon2, though with just one look he could tell that the two did not like each other at all. "That can't be too good," the redhead mumbled, scratching his chin.

"Uhoh." Dante muttered as he backed away a little from the two pokemon. Dante had never really had two of his pokemon not get along, he really had no idea what even set them off.

If you asked both of the pokemon neither of them could give an exact reason why they seemed to look at each other and suddenly hate each other. There was just something about the other one that made the other angry. Maybe it was the cold mechanical science of Turn A, or maybe it was the goofy and unprofessional nature of Kenny that upset Turn A. Before they both knew it Turn A was charging up a the rainbow colored Signal Beam while Kenny started to sink into the ground for a Faint Attack.

"Oh no you two don't." Dante quickly recalled both of them into there respective pokeball, having recovered Kenny's from the ground. Staring down at each of the pokeballs he frowned in confusion before looking over at Keegan hoping maybe the other could shed some light on this.

~~~~~
"How are we supposed to get out of this?" Robin whispered harshly to Masamori who was standing next to her looking surprised that this had even happened.
"I didn't even know that Aggron could bend like that." Masamori offered not so helpfully. All in all the older man didn't really have a clue how it had happened. It was so fast and he had just been swept along with it, normally that would upset him but right now he was still trying to figure out what the hell happened.
"I know, you would think with it being made of steel and rock that it wouldn't be able to take the lipstick and the mime off at the same time. It's not even a Mr. Mime, I mean really I don't even... Gah! Forget what happened how the hell do we get out of this situation!?" Robin whispered to the other as she watched the strange scene going on in front of her and Masamori. She didn't even know where Luffy and Black*Star were, though she was pretty sure they were responsible for this somehow. She was so going to give them the biggest thumping they ever had when she found them! She thought as she watched a midget get on top of a Lickitung and ride it around like a cowboy.
~~~~~

Meanwhile with Luffy and Black*Star actually had nothing to do with what Robin and Masamori were stuck with. What had really happened was Black*Star had spotted a Bulbasaur and had gone crazy with rage. Luffy of course didn't understand what was going on other then his team mate was mad now and he was dashing over to the Bulbasaur. The Ambipom watched as the water started jumped up and kicked the other grass type out of the way and pointed to himself proudly. Of course the Bulbasaur wasn't to happy with Black*Stars actions and quickly tackled the Totodile out of the way.

"What the hell?" The trainers who had been admiring the Bulbasaur exclaimed. "What's a stupid Totodile doing here?" One of them asked the other. "Yeah I heard they were the worst started ever." The other snorted looking down on the other.

Instead of becoming depressed Black*Star just jumped up in a rage and punched one of the other side trainers in the gut. He did not take to well with the fact that other people were ignoring his greatness! Landing on the ground perfectly he sent a glare at the Bulbasaur that looked like it was about to attack him. The grass pokemon stopped a little startled at the water pokemon's attitude.

"What the hell? That hurt!" The trainer Black*Star had punched yelled at the small pokemon. Black*Star though didn't back down as he glared up at the trainer who was yelling at him. Like a stupid thing that being yelled at would stop him. Not a Black*Star that had something to prove!

As they made their way towards the department store Kasiya dug through her backpack, taking stock of her supplies. She still had quite a few Pokeballs and Potions left so she didn't think she'd need any more of those. She looked over at Jason and smiled. "It's no problem," she said, nodding. "I've only been here since yesterday and I'm still getting used to the layout around here." She stared up at the large building with wide eyes. "It's as big as the one in Celadon City," she murmured. She wasn't at all sure what she'd buy, even though she knew she'd saved up a bit of money. Oh well, it never hurts to browse, she thought, heading into building eagerly. "Even the lobby's huge," she said, placing her hands on her hips. "Anyway, where to first?" she asked, looking over at her new acquaintance and his vigilant Magnemite. "Know what you're here to buy?"
=-=-=-=-=

"It's not gonna be that easy, Girly!" Surge hollered, punching the air with his gigantic fist. "Electrike get outta the way!" The small green and yellow canine had started to hobble away from the Corphish the moment his leg had become free, but his injury meant that his pace was far from its normal speed. Before Electrike could even react he was blown back by the jet of bubbles that crashed into him, and before the attack was even finished he'd lost consciousness, and crashed to the ground.

The gentleman nodded solemnly. "Electrike is unable to battle; Corphish wins," he declared.

"Pika pikachuu!!" cried the electric mouse stationed by his side, raising the red flag high in his tiny paws to signal that Riza had taken the first round.

Surge growled and narrowed his eyes, but it lasted for only a moment as he soon laughed. "Heh, nice moves there, Baby," he called as Electrike was returned to his Pokeball. "But it'll take more than that to bring down this next one! Ten-hut, Voltorb!" he shouted, launching a second Pokeball onto the battlefield. The Ball Pokemon appeared in a flash of light, static electricity clinging to it's round body. "Give 'em a Thunda-bolt!" he barked. The round Pokemon began to spin rapidly on the spot, generating a large bolt of lightning which was then arched towards the Corphish.
=-=-=-=-=

"They did it!" Jaeshan cheered, jumping to his feet when he saw the Electrike fall. "All right! Way to go Riza!" Still clapping, he sat back down. After all, the battle was far from over as Surge still had two Pokemon to go, and her Corphish was looking pretty spent as well. When Surge released his Voltorb, Jaeshan couldn't help but laugh a bit as he remembered his own bout with Surge. His then-Weepinbell had managed to get the Ball Pokemon stuck in his mouth before it self-destructed. "That takes me back," he mumbled, still grinning.

Turning his attention back to the battle, he wasn't surprised to hear the call for a Thunderbolt. There was something about the look in Surge's eyes that reminded Jaeshan of his daughter. "It's moments like these where I can see the similarities between them," he said, nodding. "It's no wonder Kassie's such a good battler."

Maxi saw as the crazed trainer’s face began to relax and he immediately took a small breath of relief. He didn’t put up much of a fight… that’s good for the both of us. Lee began to walk over to his master to see what became of the strange human , but the scuffle pokemon could sense the tense air that began to fill the room. Portabello relieved Maxi of his position, but the other two pokemon in the room were not happy of Maxi’s choice of moves and began move in on him. Maxi’s eyes widened and Lee leaped in front of his master as the Charizard and Magmar closed in. “Hey, hey!! Please calm down, I didn’t mean to…” Portabello jumped in front of the two and began to calm down his comrades. Maxi could feel the stress directed towards him and began to sweat perpetually. Lee threw off his mantle and was preparing to attack, but in the back of his mind he knew it would not end well for him… so he was very happy when Portabello stepped in to calm his comrades.

Maxi looked at the breloom and gave a small smile, but it disappeared quickly as the charizard began to close in. He stepped back a bit and looked the dragon in the eyes. Though he was scared for his physical being he could not back down and gazed into its fiery eyes. On the other hand, it seemed as if the Magmar was okay with the Maxi though the black belt did not want to push his luck. The breloom turned to him and told him that the others are protective of his master and that they could make themselves at home. At this point int time, Maxi decided to take a seat and as his bum hit the ground he noticed that he was face to face with the machop that has been stalking them for some time. Lee turn toward the fighting pokemon and gave a small shout towards the other, but he was ignored. The machop was focused on Maxi and the young black belt knew what it wanted, but his focus was still on the crazed trainer. “Breloom… what happened to your trainer? What he did was not natural…” He must be going through something big… nothing else could explain his actions. Lee was half-listening to the conversation while also keeping his focus on the machop. Something interesting is about to happen....

Keegan took a tentative step back as the two Pokemon prepared to attack each other, not sure how Dante would handle the situation. Dante acted quickly though and put both Kenny and Turn A into their Pokeballs. "Crisis averted, for now," the redhead stated. Now that he thought about it, he was lucky that all of his Pokemon got along with each other. Well, everyone got along with the exception of the newly-caught and quite bitter Skarmory, but Keegan wasn't worried about him. That tough-as-nails attitude was just the sort of thing he expected from a steel type and if anything Keegan figured that suited Alvero just fine.

"It probably has to do with their typing," he offered once he realized that Dante was looking to him for answers. "Porygon2's a normal type, right? And Kenny's a ghost type. They're like apples and oranges, they couldn't be more different." He tapped his chin thoughtfully and looked at the two Pokeballs his friend held. "Then again, it might not have anything to do with that at all. Have you ever met someone and just hated them instantly? Pokemon probably do the same thing sometimes. They just see another Pokemon and hate 'em, just like that."

Diema didn't manage to keep her grip on the Electrike, but after a strong electric attack like that it really wasn't that surprising. The decider would be what happened next though, how Riza would handle this. But her Corphish was tough indeed and even though she was clearly on her last leg Diema was still in this. "Hmm...Bubble Beam again? That's a bit risky...but it just might work if she can get a direct hit." Crenu watched as Diema put her claws together and let the bubbled fly, no doubt that that would make a serious dent in anyone if it hit. Crenu was distracted for a momentarily when Eris suddenly scurried onto his lap. "Eh? Wait I didn't...ok." He said with a sigh as he continued petting her. She was young, and he had to admit she was cute. The little Cyndaquil was surely new to this sort of battle, but watching it would be good for her so he didn't want to discourage her in any way.

"Aww, that's sweet. I think she likes you. I didn't know you had such a way with pokemon Shiro. Maybe you'll end up running a daycare or something some day." Ken said playfully as he continued to watch the match. When the Bubble Beam hit Electrike and caused it to go down Ken jumped up and cheered! "Oh yes! Bravo!" My what an impressive show! Electrike managed to get free from Diema's clutches sure, but not from it's effects. Having been in her powerful claw for that long put some real damage on it's leg, and all the speed in the world doesn't help out when one can't move properly. All in all it was an impressive display, Kenneth was impressed.

"Heh, not bad. She managed to pull it off. But Diema can't take much more, she's done for if she stays in the next round. But now Surge must have been furious, especially having pointed out that ridiculous sign with the big x on the goldeen. "Heh, if Spearow were a bit stronger I'd use him to challenge this gym." Which got Crenu thinking, this Surge guy may have been confident, but he was by no means a slouch. Perhaps Crenu would issue a challenge as well. But his attention was suddenly forced to change focus as Jaeshan said something very curious. He didn't even notice the Voltorb that had been brought out to face Diema, firing off a massively powerful Thunderbolt. "What was that about Kassie?" It couldn't be....no way. "Kassie...blond girl cheery attitude, always smiling. Has a strong Pupitar and was at the beach party with a bunch of other people, that Kassie? What's Surge have to do with her battle capabilities?" This was insane, it had to be someone else. There was no way that even gym leaders were being pulled into the circle of people Crenu found himself trapped in now. The world was to vast for that.

"Celadon City? Where's that?" Jason asked curiously as he looked around the first floor of the massive store. People everywhere walking about with bags full of things they've bought, a big service and information desk, fliers with info about sails and other stuff posted up neatly on walls. It was an amazing sight, this was the kind of shop that had everything! Jason didn't know where to start, he wanted to go everywhere and see everything, he wanted to buy every item in the store even if he didn't know what it was! But no, that was foolishness. He settled himself down and though about Kasiya's question. "Umm, not sure really. I've got like no money, probably enough for one thing maybe. Hmm, I kinda want to see their pokeball section. If I'm gonna go in a ferry then maybe I can fish up some cool pokemon in the Sinnoh waters. I hear they have pokeballs that are made for water pokemon and stuff. It's cool how they've made pokeballs to fit different situations with different pokemon...guess that's one of the results of pokemon research." He said with a smile, spotting the elevator. Pokemon research and science, both things he just loved. "What about you?"

Portabello looked to the floor in sullen contemplation at the boy's question. It...it is not my place to tell... he said quietly. My master has felt pain like no other, a dormant evil that has slept within him for many years. He fought valiantly, but in the end, my poor master could not take it any longer. The Breloom walked over to the now illuminated wall, the haphazardly placed photos of Flannery looking away as if in shame. He used to be so happy... If only she could come back to him. He was certain that everything would right itself. If there was anyone who could return my master back to his old self, it's her. The Pokemon loosed a sigh and turned to face the boy, who was now face to face with a Machop. The Breloom eyed the little Pokemon with disinterest, knowing full well he was in just the right mood to crush it should it do anything...unwise.

Nitro growled at the intruding Pokemon, sending it a clear message not to get any closer. His tail began to burn brightly, feeding off of his anger.

The Magmar took a step forward, his body glowing a bright orange. The entire cavern was now brightly lit as the two Fire Pokemon displayed their foul moods.

Sir Maxi, said the Breloom. Would you be so kind as to remove this menace for us? In our current state, we might do it more harm than we'd intentionally mean to. Despite the somewhat grim warning, Portabello remained stoic and calm.

"Nnnghh..." Mike stirred. "Nnitro...be quiet..." He squirmed in the Charizard's grip, wriggling out of it in semi-sleep to drape himself over the dragon's back. Nitro gasped, and shifted as if the world's most precious vase were resting on his shoulders. To the Pokemon however, it might as well have been just that. Both Portabello and Napalm rushed over to their trainer, handling him with utmost care.

Careful with him Napalm. Don't burn him.
"Mag." replied the Magmar, cupping the boy's feet.
Nitro laid out flat on his stomach, and the two other Pokemon put the boy down gently between his wings.
That should do it. Portabello said softly, his tone like that of a proud father. Now do take care of that Pokemon Sir Maxi. If you have any hopes of capturing that creature, you wouldn't want us to get involved.
-======-

Okay, so the kid was pretty cute, and not like that Maz twerp at all. "Pleased to meet you, mon ami. Je m'appelle Sasha Jennings, heir to the illustrious Jennings estate in Celadon City." The girl gave a polite, practiced curtsy. "I'm here on official trainer business. I came here to capture a Fearow and ran into a bit of a...pest." A shiver crawled up her spine at the mere recollection of it. "But after that, I was going to go back to Slateport for a boat that was travelling to Sinnoh and," She flipped open her Pokedex to check the time. A look of horror soon washed over her face. "MERDE! The boat leaves in an hour! Merde, merde, merde!" The girl looked around in a panic. She was going to miss the boat! Her cute little cadet would be so mad at her! However...Kirsa with a cute little pout...no! Now was not the time. It was time for action!

Sasha dashed off to the Pokemon Center, poor Omelette hanging on for dear life. A rather tall looking boy walked out, unaware as to what was about to hit him. "Monsieur! Monsieur!" the girl called out before latching onto him like a Remoraid to a Mantine. "Aidez-moi j'ai besoin d'un Pokemon pour me rendre à Kanto mais je n'ai pas le HM ou l'insigne de gym! Waaaahh!" Sasha went all out. She turned on the water works while squeezing him tight, making sure to have the boy feel her chest against his arm.
"Gah! Holy hell!" he cried out in shock. "I can't understand a word you're saying!"
"Miiisseurrr!" she wailed, tears streaming down her face. "Pokemon!" Sniff. "Fly." Weep. "Lilycove. S'il vous plaaaaaît!" Wail. This girl was a professional.
"Uhm!" The boy didn't know what the hell to do. "I...I have a Pidgeot that-"
"Monsieur!" Sasha's expression shifted with frightening haste. "You arreh mai hero!" she faked a crummy grasp of English to further entice the boy; and it worked. The fool wore a prideful smirk like it was his idea the whole time.
"Yeah, don't worry!" he said with renewed confidence. "I can take you to Hoenn, no problem!" He released a rather grand Pidgeot, to which Sasha faked fascination. "Oh my! Zis iz your Pokemon?"
"Heh heh, yep! Now hop on and I'll take you wherever you need to go." He gestured to his Pokemon like a true gentlemen, to which Sasha giggled.
"Mais! What about mon ami?" The girl asked.
"Your what?"
Sasha pointed to Eraku, standing stupidly in the distance.
"Him? I don't know if I have any roo-"
Tears began to form in the corner of the girl's eyes once again.
"Okay fine!" He threw his arms up in the air. "I'm transporting my dad's old Golbat. He can ride on that." The boy half-heartedly released a rather pitiful looking Golbat, clearly hanging on by a thread.
"Yay!" Sasha clapped her hands together, and once again pressed up against the boy. "Mai hero." she said softly into his ear. "Viens ici Eraku!" she called out to her new friend as she climbed onto the Pidgeot, an invisible smirk on her lips. Why am I so good?

Looking down at the two pokeballs Dante wondered what he was going to do with the two. "I dunno what it is that set the other off and right now I don't know if I want to deal with it. I'll wait til later to try to figure out why they hate each other." He muttered putting the pokeballs away. Sighing he realized that he had lost his cigarette sometime during that whole little ordeal. Oh well as long as it didn't set anything on fire he didn't care to much at the moment. He stood there in silence next to his friend for a moment. "So what's the game plan for your gym leaders? I heard Norman is really tough, I never actually got to see my mom battle him so I can't really help you out there." He hoped Keegan got his badge but he knew it was going to be a really tough and long battle for the other. Dante himself wasn't sure if he would ever challenge the Petalberg gym leader since he mostly challenged gym leaders for the right to use their TM's and HM's.

'I wanna see a gym battle!' One of the voices squawked at him that was followed by a bunch of voices in agreement.

Groaning to himself Dante rubbed his forehead and mentally told them to shut up. Great now his babysitting duty demanded he get a gym badge, it was really more like he was a slave/babysitter. "Great just great." He muttered inwardly wondering why he wanted this job again.

It was safe to say that Diemia was done for the moment the thunderbolt was launched, and Riza was already holding up the Corphish's poke ball to recall her before the lightning had fully faded away. "You were great out there," she told the ball before clipping it back onto her belt. "We showed him not to underestimate us!" She eyed the Voltorb carefully, knowing that it was a rather speedy Pokemon. Her brother had an Electrode, if she wasn't mistaken. 'Probably something we want to keep our distance from, due to its tendency to explode,' she thought as she selected her next poke ball. "Okay Yula! Come on out and use confusion!" she called, letting the sphere fly.

The Kirlia emerged from her poke ball quite gracefully, twirling though the air before striking an elegant pose upon landing. The red horns atop her head began to glow as well as her eyes as she focused her psychic power on grabbing a hold of the Voltorb and hopefully inflicting some hurt upon it.

"Cross chop again, Kord, we've got this," Katie called out as Kord shook off the hit he'd just taken. Growling angrily, the Elekid jumped up, once again preparing to land the double chopping attack on the bonsai Pokemon.

"No, dodge it, Bonsly!" Jimmy shouted, but the crackle of electricity on the rock Pokemon's body was indicative of his paralyzed state, and it couldn't so much as blink let alone run away. Kord's hands landed a pair of solid blows to the opponent Pokemon and it fell, hitting the rocky ground with a heavy thud.

"Alright Kord, you did it!" Katie cheered, kneeling down as Kord had turned and was rushing towards her.

"Bibibibi!" he laughed as he jumped up into his trainer's arms, electricity flaring up between his prongs.

"Nicely done," Jimmy said, recalling his fainted Bonsly. He turned, and pointed a finger. "The gym leader's that way," he told Katie. "But watch out, Roark's not going to go easy on you."

"I wouldn't want him to," Katie grinned. She thanked Kord for a job well done once more and placed him back in his poke ball before she continued onward. She then came upon a battlefield, though it was unlike any other she'd seen before. There were large rocks and boulders scattered everywhere, but Katie wasn't really surprised by this. She looked around once more, and nodded. "Hey, Roark!" she called loudly. "I'm Katie Maguire of Jubilife City and I'm here to challenge you to a match!" Even just throwing down the challenge was enough to kick her adrenaline into overdrive, and now the orange haired girl was nearly trembling with excitement.

"Oh, uh, Celadon City's in Kanto," Kasiya explained. "It's one of the bigger, busier cities. It has a giant department store, like this one," she went on, extending her arms to emphasize her point even though she really didn't need to. "There's also a Game Corner there, and a Pokemon gym, too!" They wandered around the first floor for a bit, though soon Kasiya realized that this store wasn't much different from the one back in her home region. "Oh special Pokeballs, that is a good idea," she said, giggling. She grabbed Jason's arm and practically dragged him onto the elevator with him, and she pressed the button that would take them to the floor that held various trainer tools. "I think the one you're looking for is called a Net Ball," she said, thinking. "On second thought, those might be only good for Bug-type Pokemon. But I'm sure they'll have what you're looking for," she nodded.

There was a light dinging sound an the elevator doors whooshed open once they'd reached the floor they wanted. "Oh wow, look at all this cool stuff!" Kasiya exclaimed. One would think that she'd never been in a place like this before, though that was far from the truth. She was like a little kid in a toy store, rushing from display to display, looking at absolutely everything she could. "Hey, I wonder what this is," she asked, finally having slowed her pace to legitimately check something out. It was a strange case-like object, and Kasiya turned it over in her hands as she tried to figure out what it was. "A PokeBlock case," she mumbled, reading the display sign. "What's that?" she asked, though there were no salespersons around to help. "Hey Jason!" she yelled loudly, having spotting her newest friend across the room. "Do you know what a PokeBlock Case is for?" Several people were giving her funny looks, but she didn't seem to notice them, or the fact that she might be embarrassing Jason with her antics.

Surge raised an eyebrow when he saw the Kirlia appear on the battlefield, as he was always a little uncomfortable when facing a Pokemon he hadn't seen before. It was soon apparent that it was a Psychic-type, as the Kirlia sent out her Confusion attack, which rendered his poor Voltorb momentarily helpless. The Ball Pokemon's eyes were comically wide with fright as Yula used her mental prowess to fling it straight up into the ceiling, where it left a dent in the brass finish before falling back to the ground again. Though it's classification was the Ball Pokemon, Voltorb didn't bounce well, and the Pokemon rolled around on the spot, a bit dazed by the harsh attack it had just suffered.

"Figures a girly-girl like you would have a frilly, girly-girl Pokemon," Surge growled, looking quite unimpressed despite the fact that he truly was. Very rarely did a trainer waltz into his gym, send out a Water-type, and claim victory in the first round, and Surge was anxious to see what else this Riza girl was capable of. "Okay, Voltorb, enough foolin' around," he shouted. "Give 'em a Spark attack!" Having recovered from being tossed around like a toy, Voltorb emitted an annoyed-sounding buzz and sped forward, electricity encircling its round body as it closed in on the Kirlia, looking to score a little payback.

"Eh?" Jaeshan looked over at Crenu curiously as he mentioned Kasiya as well, and he chuckled. The girl Crenu was describing sounded very much like the Kassie he knew, and he was vaguely aware of Riza switching her Pokemon as he nodded. "Yeah, assuming that her Larvitar's evolved, that sounds just like her. But I didn't know that you knew Kassie too," he said, seemingly unshaken by the coincidence. "Anyway," he said, looking back towards the Gym Leader as his Voltorb zipped forward with a Spark attack, "it just so happens that Vermilion City is Kasiya's hometown, and that Lt Surge here is her father." Jaeshan's tone was unassuming and nonchalant, as though the information he'd just given was completely ordinary. He noted the strange, confused expression Crenu wore, and tilted his head. "Why do you ask? Is something wrong?"
