((Well thats almost everyone...we are still missing Flaming Void and Mr. Blacklore Bird(?) though Void might be because I haven't contacted her yet... sweatdrop I'll do that soon...In any case I do believe that its been long enough.)) Monday, June 16th(?I'll have to go check) Is Starting...NOW
((Go check the Updates post and the Story so far post. Pm me if you have questions or anything you wish to add.))
The guests have fallen asleep. The housekeepers too have fallen alseep in some shape or form, at some time or another during the night. It is now about Noon-ish. The guests are starting to awaken from their slumber. Soon they shall discover a game that Dakota has left for them. A scavenger hunt of the mansion so the guests will get to explore the mansion and not do so in a sneaky and suspicious way. It is a way to test their knowledge and problem solving skills as well as to see if they are capable of asking for help.
Now to kick this thing off. The guests will discover a letter, personally addressed to them, lying somewhere in their room. Upon opening it, they discover that their are two peices of paper. The first is a letter handwritten by Dakota.
Dear (insert name of guest here.FIRST AND LAST!!!),
It is wonderful to know that you have wanted to figure out about my previous letter. I thank you for trusting me and for coming to stay with me in my home. You shall find that my reasons are well reasonable and you should find your stay as comfortable as possible.
I know you have alot of quesions and I shall answer them all...in due time. Today I have schedualed a meeting with all of my guests in a room that you will find by going through a scavenger hunt. You shall need to answer the riddles you find at each place and each will take you to another place and another till you find the room of which I shall be waiting for you. There is a time limit but I wouldn't worry about that yet. I shall let you know via intercom what that time is.
As for now I am sorry that you have missed breakfast and you are probably hungery. I shall help you with the first clue, which is enclosed. Your help is also on that clue. I shall see you at the deadline!
Sincerly, Dakota Williams
The clue: This is the first clue of the scavenger hunt. This room is a place you seem to find yourself in alot. Food is abundant here and so are different ways to cook it. Please enjoy your lunch.
Well of course this clue is talking about the kitchens. (It was easy...too easy. Don't expect the others to be this easy.) Down the stairs and to your right, the fourth door on the left. There you shall find the next clue and your food. Enjoy.Darkness and silence. It was unnerving. But the silence wasn't all that silent. Dakota could make out soft laughter that was getting louder and louder with the passing time. Soon there was a face of a young boy of about 12. His smile was creepy. Dakota closed her eyes but when she opened them he was still there. "Hullo Dakota." The laughter had subsided and now the eeire quiet was back. The boy spoke again. "How have you been? Had a great life without me. You never think of me do you Dakota? Have you forgotten me? Did my message scare you?" The creepy laughter started again. "Jer...Jer....Jeremy?...Why...How...I saw...But..." Tears started to form in her eyes. "Yes Dakota and now I can't sleep. Trapped inside my own mind. Would you like to join me?" The laughter had started to increase and Dakota screamed, jumping back from Jeremy and back into reality.
Dakota woke up startled. It was about 10 in the morning. Dakota held on to her cup like it was the only thing that could protect her. She took a sip and made a face at how cold it was. She sat there, frightened, for a little bit before placing her coffee down and going to her room. There she got ready for the day. After getting dressed, Dakota was still frightened. She tired to hide it the best she could but knew that some one would be able to tell eventually. So she went to the kitchens to get some more coffee and something to eat. She settled for the fresh baked dougnuts that someone had made for the housekeepers that morning. She took her things and went to confrence room two. There she thought about texting some one to talk to but she wasn't sure who would be awake and who would even be the best persont to talk to. No scrach that. She knew the person she needed to talk to but he would be asleep. And even if he wasn't she would have kicked him and told him he needed to be in bed anyway.
Her thoughts were lingering on her dream when the phone in her hand rang. She looked down to see that it was Billy. Hurriedly she opened the phone and answered it. "Hello?...Of course this is her...Well you called my cell. Who did you expect to answer? Amanda?...Yea I know...WHAT!!!" Dakota jumped up from the chair she was sitting in. The voice on the other end was talking fast to explain something to Dakota. "Thats not good, Billy...No! We can't call the others...They will be here in their own time...Because, Billy, that would alert the enemies. They would think that you guys are planning something big and come here to find out what. There are many innocents here...Whatever. Remember, I quit three years ago...Talk to you later then...Bye." Dakota hung up the phone and sat back down. More maddness. What could be next? She shook the thoughts of her dream away and took another sip of coffee.((Alright all. Its Noon-ish! Lets begin this new day!))

((Sorry about my absence. First, Mort was never replying. Then college finals happened. Then I came home, and now I have until June 5th to do everything I want/need before leaving to Minnesota to help my grandma whose been having heart problems and was just recently diagnosed with leukemia. Fun stuff.))
Izzy was in the kitchen with a cup of coffee simmering in his left hand. He was leaning back against the counter, awaiting the arrival of the various guests. As always, he was floating near the areas and people of importance, but keeping quiet and to himself unless he was needed. Obviously there was little need for him at the moment-- all the guests were fast asleep. In fact, it would probably be better if he were in the halls, ready to offer his assistance if need be.
Uriel, being the imaginary pissant he was, decided to disturb the quiet, peaceful afternoon Isaac had been enjoying. Isaac, you're a man of refined tastes, and simple pleasures. A gentleman of sorts. Like us. And we feel it's in your best interest to put aside this wasteful nonsense you call a job. Go see Sasha. Go have some fun. Relax. The other schmoes can do any job you would do, so don't worry about it. Ignore the little fleas that have come to infest this beautiful home, and get away from it all.
Isaac was just entering the hallway within which all the guestrooms could be found. He listened to unreal voices bicker over his behavior while he silently paced the length of the hallway, occasionally sipping at his mug.

Faceless figures as far as the eye could see. Lysander was walking past each and every one, looking for something. All of the figures were nude, and female as well. They all came in different shapes and sizes, but none of them had a face. Then, off in the distance, one became noticeable. Lysander started off, hurrying to it. He found it, he found it! He...
Lysander woke to the irritating screech of the cell phone currently residing in his front pocket. Lysander sat up groggily, and fished the phone out from his pocket. He turned off the alarm, and stood up. Great, a whole four hours of sleep. Lysander rubbed the fatigue from his eyes, and stumbled his way out of his clothes and into the shower. As he filled the room with hot steam, he began thinking. That dream was a reoccurring one, one he had had for years now. But, something was wrong. His dream had never gone that far, he had never seen one that was truly noticeable. Lysander thought long and hard. Just what the hell did that dream mean? Lysander shook it from his mind. Oh well, no point in fretting now. Lysander stepped out of the shower and dried himself off with a towel, and got dressed. Today he was wearing leather pants, his sneakers, a plain white t-shirt and a black button-up over it. Lysander stepped to the mirror and inspected himself. The shower had done it's job, cleaning off every bit off of Lysander that wasn't a part of him. All the product in his hair was gone. Now, due to the length of his hair, his hair actually draped behind him, and looked rather... normal. But Lysander couldn't have that, no. Lysander grabbed the product and spent a good ten minutes just getting his hair right. It did bother him that it took a while to get his hair how he liked, but at least the product was strong enough to hold all day. Finishing up his daily routine, which also consisted of practicing his bass guitar, exercising, and knife training, he was just about to leave when he noticed something: a letter. Lysander remembered seeing it the night before, but had left it alone due to fatigue. Lysander immediately snatched the letter and read it quickly.
Dear Lysander Graves,
It is wonderful to know that you have wanted to figure out about my previous letter. I thank you for trusting me and for coming to stay with me in my home. You shall find that my reasons are well reasonable and you should find your stay as comfortable as possible.
I know you have a lot of questions and I shall answer them all...in due time. Today I have scheduled a meeting with all of my guests in a room that you will find by going through a scavenger hunt. As for now I am sorry that you have missed breakfast and you are probably hungry. I shall help you with the first clue, which is enclosed. Your help is also on that clue. I shall see you at the deadline! Sincerely, Dakota Williams Lysander read the clue, then smirked. Please, that was a clue? More like the answer. Lysander, never enjoying a loss, immediately got himself ready for a full day and jetted out the door. Lysander bolted around, remembering the layout of the house from last night. He quickly came across a man pacing with a coffee cup. He was close. Lysander soon found himself in a wonderful kitchen, with it apparently vacant. Lysander didn't say a word, just helped himself to some food, waiting for other people. Lysander loved a challenge.

I'm doing very well. I can blackout the present and the past now. I know by now you think I should have straightened myself out. Thank you, drop dead.
Zenith stirred slightly, the music issuing from the headphones in his ears slowly nudging him towards the surface. The mid-day sunlight spilled into the darkened room in a futile attempt to wake him, it kept trying every day - but it was yet to succeed. The young man was sitting on the window ledge, where he had fallen asleep just under an hour ago. His head rested against the section of wall behind him and his cheek was pressed against the glass of the window. His legs were tucked up and his feet pressed against the other wall. The plain formal attire he had worn last night was crumpled and skewed by his sleeping position. Eventually his eyes flickered open, before abruptly closing again - blinded by the intense light assaulting him from outside. With his face screwed up in a grimace, he slid off the ledge and yanked the curtains closed. The room instantly fell into near-pitch darkness. They were very effective curtains. Zenith attempted to open his eyes again, greeted by the tranquil darkness of his employee suite. He smiled sleepily, and stumbled to the bathroom door.
Fifteen minutes after he had staggered into the bathroom to shower, Zenith strode out again. He was wrapped from the waist down in a large, soft, white towel - courtesy of Dakota's ridiculously luxurious budget. He paced over to the window, eyes wide and awake after his hot wash. He opened the curtains, placing his hands on the window ledge and looking out onto the bright gardens. He quickly noted that he should probably cover himself with more than a towel before standing in front of the window, just in case. He made his way to the bedside table, where the programmable coffee machine had a steaming cup ready for him. He took a deep sip, savouring the taste, before turning to the wardrobe. Today he went for something more original. A black shirt bearing an attractive, white floral pattern, accompanied by a white waistcoat and no tie. He proceeded to don some black formal trousers and shoes, before drinking some more of his coffee and exiting the room. He smiled. It was good that he had grown accustomed to his abysmal sleeping pattern, otherwise he would be a dead man walking. He made it to the kitchen in record time. Once he was there he took a doughnut from the plate on the counter. Eating it in a few bites, he then began making some toast. He was very hungry, having skipped breakfast due to the business this morning. He sighed, leaning against the counter and waiting for his toast.
((Edited, because Dakota wasn't in the kitchens. My bad. XD))

Alexander Matthews OpsonButler and personal advisor to Miss Dakota.((Ahh... Back into the flow of things. Writer's block is gone. I'm happy.)) Alix loved his room. It was the one place in the entire mansion where he could actually act the way he wanted to. Everywhere else, there was the pressure of formality, and of course, the constant rumble of psychic chatter. In his room, he was free from his duties and free from the annoying, floating thoughts of others. And on days like this, it truly felt like bliss.
He would have preferred to awaken at dawn, but dawn had come and gone before he'd gone to bed. He'd slept for four or five hours before his subconscious prodded him away from his pillow. He never could sleep right when he had work to do. It was a nervous habit. And he certainly had work to do now. In the rush of excitement generated by the new guests, it was almost possible to forget that someone had been murdered on the estate last night.
He slid himself out of bed, but didn't bother to change. He was never more comfortable than he was now: barefoot and bare-chested, wearing nothing but his comfortable fleecey pants. He lumbered across the room with a yawn and into his personal kitchen. (I love you, Miss Dakota!) He flinched slightly when he stepped off of the carpet of his room onto the cold tile of the kitchen, but he got used to it.
He had a small fridge, a microwave, and two pantries. That's all there was, and that's all he needed. He pulled himself a half-empty jug of apple juice from the fridge and started dragging various spices from one of the pantries. One microwave later, he was clutching his caramel apple cider like it was the only thing in the world he had ever loved as he danced back across the room.
He flung himself into his bed (after setting the drink safely on the nightstand, of course) and smiled into the large, fluffy abyss. It felt as though he were being swallowed whole by his comforter. He turned himself over, got nice and snuggly in his bed, took his tasty, tasty drink, and took a long, happy sip. Then he pulled the folder from his nightstand and began to read.

((One thing (so everyone knows) DAKOTA IS NOT IN THE KITCHENS...*phew* So that means, Lysander didn't see her upon entering the kitchens and Zen can only get to her by going where she is.
And as for you Glacial...Yes it does make more sense that way but...I was (and still am) being lazy and didn't feel like doing it that way.
Yl-Dakota says your welcome to Alix.^.^))

((Sorry. It's stupidly long.))
There was music playing. It was...peaceful. Anna opened her eyes to find herself spread carefully on a velvety cloth. As she sat up, she found herself staring at a boy playing the piano. Anna stepped off the cloth and walked up behind him. "Koki?"
The boy nodded and kept playing.
"Where are your bandages?" Anna asked. He wasn't wearing the bandages she'd always known him to wear around his eyes.
"I stopped being afraid." The boy looked up at Anna, and she saw that, for the first time in seven years, his eyes were there. "And God finished fixing my eyes, an' he gave them back. I can see now. I can see you."
Anna reached down to touch the boy on the cheek, and in some sort of mutual agreement, their faces moved towards each others...
And right before they touched, Anna heard the blare of her cell phone ringing. She jumped down to where her shoulder bag was, unzipped it, and dug her phone out, flipping it open. "Yes?" She snapped. She hated it when stuff like this ruined good dreams.
"Hey, Anna. It's seven in the morning. Do you know where I am?"
"At...home...?"
"No. You're wrong. So anyway...where are you? Since you're not at home and your parents have decided that they never had a daughter."
"You went to my house?"
"Yeps. Anyway, since you're up, and avoiding my question, why don't you get ready to go?"
"Go where?"
"Life. You know. The road goes ever on and on..."
"That's about enough of that. Alright, I'm going. Talk to you later, Erika." Anna shut the phone and stumbled into the bathroom. Checking the digital clock that for no real reason was in the bathroom and not the sleeping main area. It was 10:30 AM. Not seven in the morning. How far from her home was she?
After she'd washed her hands and face, Anna entered her room again, and, while rooting around for a shirt and pants in her bag, she found an envelope. She tossed it onto the wardrobe to open when she was wearing something. She ended up in a black halter top and brown cargo pants with her bandanna around her neck. She then flicked open the letter.
Dear Anna Kosa,
It is wonderful to know that you have wanted to figure out about my previous letter.
Anna stared at the letter for a moment, then walked outside, her beads clicking together. She'd have to ask Ainsley or Aya what it said. God forbid if she asked one of the guys...
~!~
Yoh'd fallen asleep in the kitchen, so when Lysander had walked in, he'd sat up suddenly. "I'm awake!" He took a quick look-around, and remembered that he was still sitting on that stool that belonged to him. In one of those weird leg positions with the bottoms of his feet together, too. Was that yoga, or something else? He didn't remember. Maybe he'd check later.
Yoh glanced over at Lye. "Ah, it's just you." He made a cushion for his head with his arms again and dropped his head back on it.
And then he remembered the kid.
"Waitaminute!" And he was back up and pointing at Lye. If there was one thing you could say about Yoh, it was that his brain had lag time, but he had good reflexes.

Sipping his coffee, Zenith stared over the rim of the mug through half lidded eyes. He assumed none of the guests were awake yet. Come to think of it, he should go and find Dakota and ask what would be going on today. He stood in silence for a few moments, and then the toast jumped up from the toaster. He turned and grabbed the two slices, buttering them and placing them on a plate, before taking them and his coffee out into the hall.
He made his way slowly around the mansion, occasionally taking a bite of toast or a sip of coffee. As he walked, he peeped into each of the sitting rooms one by one, checking for his boss. When he had checked each lounge, he stood for a few seconds in the hall. Where is she? Hiding? That's poor hostess behaviour. He decided she might be in her office, but thought he should probably also check the conference room on the way. She liked to sit in there from time to time. He guessed it was when she had a lot on her mind. People only went there when she was having a meeting, so it was a good place to escape if you didn't want to be disturbed. He arrived shortly outside Conference Room 2. Knocking on the door while balancing the coffee on the edge of the plate which bore his toast. He would wait a few seconds, and if nobody answered she would be in her office.

Dakota's head jerked up when she heard the knock. She had fallen asleep again. "Hold up!" She took a long sip of coffee before standing and going to the door. When she saw Zen her face lit up. "Zen! And why were you looking for me?" She moved back to her seat to see that she was almost out of coffee. With this knowledge she knew that it was only a little bit of time before that stupid dream started playing in her head. But there was no way for her to go get more. The kitchens would be off-limits to Dakota for about an hour. Panic started to rise. 'He's really after me. He really wants me out of the picture. Why...why'

Darkness was the perfect ally when one wished to sleep. However, now when the teen was to awake, it was this 'ally' of his that constantly called him back to bed. It was around noonish when the teen was capable of casting off the veil of darkness and sleep. Unaware of the time, he stumbled into the library again, after awaking up in his bed. 'I guess I got up from the table last night.' The teen said, groggily. Normally, he would get up around six, have a cup of tea, do some work, when nine o'clock rolled around, he'd head down to the kitchen to make some food, then return to work. The time was twelve, Noon, when the sun was very high in the sky, casting painfully bright rays into his santuary. "Gasp." He gasped, a slight smile on his face since what he just did would annoy one of his older friends. Yet they weren't around no more, barely anyone was anymore. The unpleasant memory damped the teen's spirits. They were gruesome sights that he had wished to burn from his memory. Stifling a silent yawn, the teen proceeded to the door. The library was near the rear of the house, and yet he could still smell the kitchen with the freshly baked food. 'Yuck.' Lucero groaned, he was very late, schedule wise. Turning around, he went back into his office to silence the music, which echoed throughout the library. It was playing Pirates of the Caribbean 'At Wit's End'. Hitting the power button, the music was silenced. Nothing echoed nor did the library ring with music. It was devoid of any sound, a rather eerie feeling. "Well that ain't gonna work." Turning, he began to flip through the huge racks of music discs. Lining the back wall of his office were racks full of music cd's. There were soundtracks from movies, videogames, Cd's, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Flipping through there, he found a case, labeled 'Meditational Music'. Opening the cd player, he popped out the disc, placed it in the case(laying conviently near by), and popped the new one in. Closing the lid, he pressed play and stepped outside. The music was quiet and soft, much better then silent. Exiting his library, the teen began the trek towards the kitchen. Today, the house was nice and cold. Normally, the library was the coldest room in the house but today the hallways were colder, but only by a few degrees. Walking down the hallway, he passed, by a man. 'Zenith.' Lucero stated in his mind. Since he barely knew him, the teen slipped by, silently, as he walked towards the communal kitchen. There was no scent of food. 'That's weird. Yoh always as food ready.' The teen thought as he entered the kitchen. There he spied a few of the guests.

Zenith was startled when Dakota's voice responded from within. She was in here after all. Hm. He stood with a grin as Dakota opened the door, and he followed her inside. "Zen? How long have people been calling me that? I honestly didn't notice." He followed her to the table with his usual casual grace, laying his coffee and the plate of toast down on the surface. He sat down at a chair across from her. "Hmm. It has a nice ring to it, anyway." He had never been given a nickname before, and it made him feel more a part of the community. He took a moment to self-consciously smooth out a crease in his shirt, before looking up to Dakota again. "I was bored." He said with a smile. "I was also meaning to ask you what you had planned with regard to the guests today. Is there something I should be doing to help?" He took a sip of his coffee and, setting it down on the table, gave Dakota a concerned look. "You look beat. Did you get enough sleep?"

Leo had woken about 11:30 am and took a long shower. By noon, he suspected that everyone was up. He began to the kitchen in his flannel pajama pants when he heard commotion. He forgot about the new guest. More like nuences. Leo turned and hurried back to his room. He thought for a minute. Where could he go to eat without leaving the grounds or going to the kitchen. He thought for a moment. Alix. Leo smiled to himself and ran off to his room.
Once Leo was inside his room, he locked his door and grabbed his keys off his dresser. Then, he opened his window and climbed up onto the roof. The cool air brushed along his warm naked flesh. Goosebumps began to rise on his skin, and he shivered a couple of times. He began toward where he believed Alix's room was. He hung over the edge, looking into the window. 'Yup,' Leo thought to himself. 'This is it.' He saw Alix laying on his bed, reading a folder of some sort. Probably from Dakota. 'This kid is more wrapped up in Dakota than I am. I swear, sometimes I think he's straight. Leo pulled himself up and turned, dropping on the large window sill. He knocked on the window to get Alix's attention. "Open the window!" He yelled.

Nicky was up and moving quickly. She had on a yellow sundress with white flats. She looked over at the clock and she almost fell over. "How am I going to get all my work done now?" She said as she braided her hair. She quickly left her room and headed for the garden. Once there she gathered her equipment and started on her job.
