Favourite band and favourite song? whee whee whee

I hope to god you regret bullying. Geezus. Not cool man.
Song on my profile, if I have to pick something other than classical.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you point out flaws in yourself?

It is one of the things I've regretted most. I did say it was the most morally disgusting thing that I can think of that I've done. Also, CLASSICAL MUSIC IS AWESOME. Why would you pick something other than classical if it's your favourite? whee Who's your favourite composer? @'gamma: Thankfully and unfortunately, no. My dreams are either nightmares involving disgusting bathrooms or unattainable marriages to famous/non-existent persons. If you could only eat one food item for the rest of your life, what would you eat?

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you point out flaws in yourself? Oh get the ******** off it, GK. If she thought it was "cool", as you put it, she probably would not be counting it as the most morally repugnant thing she's ever done. You're the jackass here, for trying to make a nice girl feel even worse than she already does, for something she did in the fourth ******** grade.

I guess I'll go with meat & vegetable lasagna, so I can still have a bit of everything. : ) What do you think you would get on an IQ test? (Range is 0-180, 100 is average, 90-110 is the average range, above 130 is considered genius, below 70 is considered mental retardation.)

You're the jackass here, for trying to make a nice girl feel even worse than she already does, for something she did in the fourth ******** grade. Wow, that is a foul mouth. Thanks for calling me all sorts of names and cussing, because that's mature. I was not trying to put her down, but I was saying bullying wasn't a cool thing to do. I'm not quite sure if you got that. But no, I was not putting her down, sometimes bullies don't regret the things they do even when they realize it's morally repugnant. That's why I said, "I hope to god you regret that, not cool." And THEN I moved on. I wasn't lingering on the subject, I was making a comment, and as a twenty three year old I would hope you would address these problems more maturely-- instead of calling me a jackass, accusing me of things I didn't do, and cussing.
Thank you for understanding.

sweatdrop Okay, I think I ought to explain the actual bullying first, because it's such a wide term. The boy was quite energetic, and he enjoyed trying to insert himself in the activities of others. He was very good-natured, but 4th graders (and even adults sometimes) are not the most patient and understanding of people, and as such, the rest of the class including myself turned our backs on him and shunned him. As far as I remember, there wasn't any active bullying: no stealing his lunch, calling him names, or whatever. It was more of the refusal to include him in any games, no one wanting to be in his group for projects... Though arguably, this type is more painful. Anyways, the more we ignored him the more he continued "annoying" us; eventually this resulted in him crying in class, saying "It's just because I'm fat!" (He was rather large, but this was never a factor I considered, though some of the boys in the class may have exploited this). Eventually, he left the school. There were a few individuals who tried to befriend him and stick up for him; I wish I was one of them, and I quite admire those people now. Anyways, that's the story. It wasn't quite so bad as some bullying stories I've heard, but I regret my part in it nevertheless. I think what Geek Sama said was understandable, since they haven't spoken to me previously and therefore have no understanding of who I am. With all the trolls and obnoxious people that can be found on the Internet, it's quite easy to assume the worst. Ducky might be a bit incensed simply because in her eyes I am an innocent little child with the purity of a thousand virgins, I am guessing. : P Though I think it would be reasonable to assume that someone regrets an action they deem morally repugnant. It's true that some people don't care about morals, though I think those people are in the minority. But that may be my inexperience talking. : P tl;dr Everybody just be friends please emotion_bigheart

Thank you for understanding. Yes, because mature people never swear. xd She knows it's not a cool thing to do. rolleyes Morals are not what society makes them, they're what each individual person makes them. If something you did crosses your own morals, you regret it. And I didn't call you "all sorts of names", I called you one name. And that's what you're being, so why shouldn't I? If I'm being a b***h (I don't feel that I am, but I'm sure you do), would you be in the wrong to call me a b***h? No. Truth trumps petty sensitivities. Which is all this is. I found what you said to be thoughtless, unfair, and just a touch self-righteous. So I made it known. And you took it extremely personally, because I use the words "********" and "jackass". Not everyone can go around saying "golly gee" and "aw shucks". You need a tougher skin, if you're going to act like this every time someone swears at you. Because people swear, honey. This isn't I Love Lucy. : P

Incensed is definitely a strong word. I'm not even aggitated. I just know what I think and I'm not afraid to say it in the bluntest terms. Yes, I think you're innocent and adorable, but that's not why I'm defending you. I would have said the same thing for anyone. (Sans the "nice girl" part, perhaps.) When a person is wrong, they're wrong. It doesn't really matter who they are or who they're wronging. Are we being unfriends? xd I'm just as willing to call out my friends on the same s**t. I had nothing against her, until she started acting like a baby. I just didn't like what she said.
