Damian nodded. "I agree with you there. Would you like to join us in a search for him?" Damian asked worried for the other wolf.
Mara smiled, it was a strange feeling having something wrap around her like this tail. It was an unnatural feeling, but she knew she was safe. When he commented on her temperature she looked away and down at the grass. "I am sorry I can't be that way." She said feeling guilty for being a vampire.

"It isss alright, Mara... we cannot change what we are. You don't have to feel guilty because of me." Zack said softly. "I wisssh I knew how to control my formsss... or even have a vampire form to ssshare the feeling with you." He said honestly.

Mara shook her head. "Enjoy the warmth of life while you can. For me the warmth that comes from you is refreshing. Against my skin for a moment I feel the heat of life, and you feel the cold of death. I don't want the cold of death to chill you." She told him honestly. "You are wonderful how you are, there is no need to worry about it."

Julian muttered a low growl, drool escaping from his massive jaws. "Do not speak condescendingly to me vampire! You are in Lycan territory, as is all of the forest." He snarled. His fur stood on end in anger.
Eve stood defensively. It was she that wanted to visit the forest, and now she would suffer the consequences; though confidant Arzachel would handle the situation much better than she, she remained mute.
Adelle looked around in curiousity. "It's a pleasure to meet you both." She held a hand to her chin. "Ah! Are you the famed Aeacus?"
Caine embraced him long time friend with a cordial pat on the back. "Oh, I have many things to say to you Cooro. May we find a more suitable place to speak? I believe we are all unnerved by the stench of wolf." He chuckled. "And yes we are my dear. With that accent I'd assume you are French. No doubt, we are quite popular there, many members and such."
Somni eyed the plate. "Didn't poison anything did you?" He cautiously picked up a brownie. "Yeah. Not only is he funny looking, he's f**king heavy. That or I'm weak." Somni looked at his arms questioningly.

"I wasn't being condescending, you misinterpreted it, because you are unwilling to look at this from an alternate angle." Arzachel side. "And if I wanted any part of that stupid war, I wouldn't be here. I came here for other reasons. Reasons that have little or nothing to do with anyone but myself. And I've come to this place long before this was ever claimed 'territory.'" Arzachel looked up in the direction of the werewolf. "And besides... you haven't actually been around these parts for long... have you?" He asked, folding his hands patiently.

Cooro returned the embrace, smiling as he did. "We can take this discussion back to my home if you wish. I am sure that after such a long trip you would like to have a place you can rest." Cooro offered, "And if you wish to speak with my entire family that is where Mara should appear next. She has become a bit of a wild child, so I can only guess."
Cooro stepped back from the vampires and wrapped his arm around Adelle and smiled at her reassuringly.
Echo observed them with a calm air. "I think that would be a marvelous place." she said softly. She bowed to Adelle, a graceful act. "Aeacus, yes." she said grinning.

Miles laughed heartily, "No, and no. Baker's honor; there's no poison. And he's way too suspicious for me to think for a moment that he's human. What is he?"
Marie turned to her brother, then frowned. "Umm... er..." She mumbled, unsure of what to say.

Julian smashed his fist onto the cave wall, sending bits of rock falling to the floor. "Again! You speak to me like a child!" The adrenaline had gone to Julian's head, clear thought a bit far away. "No. But what would it matter? They are my fellow wolves just the same."
Eve spoke up. "He's right you know. Neither of us have any intention with Lycan. I'm simply here to be rid of that terribly chaotic city." She kept a hard gaze.
Adelle smiled. "You know I've never met a member of your clan in person. It's an honor." She wrapped her arms tightly around Cooro. "We should go now father."
Caine inhaled deeply. "Ah, that sounds like an excellent idea. Lead the way kind Sir." He held an outstretched hand towards Laytham.
Somni took a thoughtful bite of the dessert. "I believe he's a vampire...but then again I've never seen a vampire feed off a werewolf. It would typically poison them. But..." Somni looked at Marie "...he saved your sister, that much is for sure."

Arzachel sighed and raised a hand in apology. "Please forgive me sir... I often forget which manner to speak to individuals in, for I often seek solitude over sociability. I simply am here for sanctuary... to retain my sanity from standing in that god-forsaken city." Arzachel sighed. "I am not here to debate your status with your people, please forgive me of my observation." He said his golden eyes examining all around him, Julien, Eve, the furniture, all of it.
Zack smiled. "I guess your right." He said. He was now able to return to normal form and he did so quickly. Zack leaned against Mara affectionately. "But lets not worry about that... look at the moon through the trees... its beautiful." He said brightly.

"We are off to my home." Cooro said smiling at Adelle, "Are you filled my dear?" He asked her. "You might as well be before we return." He smiled at the other vampires. "Shall we get going then?" he asked taking the lead and running back toward his home.
Mara nodded in agreement. She gasped quickly when she lay against her. She giggled and leaned against him as well, but gently too. "It is beautiful, this whole area is amazing." She sighed feeling like she was sitting in heaven.

Miles raised a confused eyebrow. "They can feed off werewolves? Cool. The not cool part is saving her," He said, motioning to Marie.
"Oh, shush." Marie huffed, waving her stick menacingly close to his face. "Will it be dangerous if he stays here?"

As Vincent slept in the booth he once again began to dream. Such a strange man and in his dreams all the more stranger.... As he stood in the endless meadow this time as he is in the real world, this place is his mind, beautiful and yet so empty. "Where am I?" He said alone in this land til a voice spoke out from behind him
"Wherever you want to be."
He turned to see her. "Helen!" He said.
"Yes Vincent its me." she said pacing in a circle around him.
He starred with a mix of shock, disbelief and absolute joy. "Helen." He paused and smiled blissfully.
"Is that all you have to say, tell me Vincent do you still care for me? It seems you were quick to forget me. I died, have you found who killed me, have you even attempted?!"
"I did all I could, but nothing was found." He said still smiling at her.
"You know that isn't true, you failed me Vincent." She pouted turning her head.
"Oh come now, we did all we could but lets face it, you're dead and there ain't a thing to be done. We're alive. You aren't. Deal with it." Said a dark shadow behind him, gripping Vincents shoulder tight.
"What about our Daughter Vincent!" She screamed ignoring the shadow.
"I'm n-not... I'm not human! I couldn't care for her, I look in on her every day, she seems fine, she doesn't remember you-" He quickly turns his head and grimaces.
"Say it! She doesn't remember me at all and it feels like neither do you." She looks at him with tear stained eyes.
"I do remember you, I still care!" He shouts gripping his chest.
"Then prove it, prove it to me by dieing with me tonight!" She shouted.
"Helen." He said with a blank yet sad expression.
"Tell her the answers no, come now do you honestly wanna die? The man I saw with his teeth wrapped tightly round that things jugular wanted to live and to taste life." The shadow said sticking out its tongue.
"Die damn you!" She lounged at him.
He reached out grabbing her throat with his left hand smiling blissfully. "I loved Helen, and she loved me, but we're both dead now." He gripped tightly. "This is not my beautiful home and you are not my beautiful wife." His grip tightens as blood runs down her cheeks, as tears run down his and all that can be heard from her is a faint gurgle and a resounding snap. "Rest now my love, my life, and the dreams of that dead man." Flashes of happy memories go by as if in a slide show as he looks up smiling the same smile tearfully looking back the shadow begins to merge with him and all is white, a door appears behind him, a dark shadow in a world of endless white; He turns and walks through the door not looking back as his wife lies dead bleeding on the cold white floor Vincent next to her bleeding from the neck clutching her hand smiling blissfully.
Vincent wakes, sitting up in the booth.

Julian locked in stare at Arzachel for a moment, unable to respond. When was the last time that a Vampire apologized to a Lycan... "You both will be judged assuredly, if you'd like to stay in this territory. Even if you say your intentions are good, we will see." He played a fake harshness in his voice, in attempt to keep an intimidating demeanor. "I will speak with the leader, then return." He pushed through the streaming water and sniffed the air in search of Boro.
Eve returned to her seat with a sigh. "I'm not sure what to think of these things." She reclined against the cushion.
Caine followed swiftly and gave a small scowl as they reentered the city. "So, what did you adopt a new daughter Cooro?"
Adelle happily left the forest. "Yes, I'm quite content." She had her feed, now simple wished to return "home".
Somni jumped and dropped his half eaten brownie. "#$%*!!!" He screamed, startled by the vampire. "I didn't know you were awake." He walked over the booth carelessly.

Cooro chuckled. "Yes, though she has been a part of my family for some time Caine." Cooro said in a matter-of-fact manner. "She and Mara have been close for a long while, as have we. She has not lived with us for quite some time, but all the same I accept her as a daughter, and we keep a room empty for her in the case that she would ever wish to come down her and join us."

Miles flinched at Vincent's sudden movement, then asked, "Hey man, are you alright?" He looked over at the tray of brownies, then also asked, "Would you like a brownie, free of charge?"
Marie frowned disgustedly at Somni's language. "Please, no sailors in the bakery. And who's awake?" She asked, unsure if it was the vampire or someone she had not heard come in.
"Marie, that guy you and Somni dragged in is awake. And he looks kind of... well, same as before but not asleep." Miles said, almost randomly. The finer details of politeness were lost on him.
