'Thank you for bringing me a tea kettle' Yokome said as she nodded to the miad. Once the maid left, she poured herself a cup of the tea and continued with her calligraphy.

In her sleepy state, Iyasu walked to the kitchen and poured herself a cup of tea. The maids were hussling and bussling about as if the sun had already risen. She shook head thinking that these maids must be crazy to be up this early. She sipped her tea and thought to herself quietly about that thought.
The brunette drank some more of her tea as she walked over to the a screened window. A pale seemed to the be flowing. She rolled back the screen to see the sun rising. She bowed her head in defeat as she rolled the screen shut and finished her tea.
'So much for sleep . . .' She thought to herself as she trudged back to her room to get ready for the day.

Seikeida went outside and leaned on the rails with thoughts of her sister. She couldnt believe that she had made it this far. She walked back inside with a smile and headed towards the kitchen. There she met a new maid she had not known about. " Konichiwa," Seikeida said with a gentle touch " I am Seikeida. Also a maid. Would you like some help?"

Tanpopo finished her breakfast and tea. She looked over to see a familiar face, Iyasu. Happy that she was no longer alone, she smiled and said softly, "Goodmorning! Your name is Iyasu-san, right? Thank you for greeting me yesterday, it was very kind of you." She sighed and looked to the floor, "Iyasu-san, ...what should I do today? I don't know what to do, could you help me?" Tanpopo sighed again and looked at Iyasu for a response.

"Goodmorning! Your name is Iyasu-san, right? Thank you for greeting me yesterday, it was very kind of you."
She stopped in her tracks looked to the smiling Tanpopo. She smiled back and bowed to her.
"Hai, my name is Iyasu. You are most welcome, what is your name again? You never told me yesterday!" She laughed.

She giggled a bit. "Yes, my name is Tanpopo, but everyone calls me Popo." She smiled, hoping this would be a new friend. "Iyasu-san, what do I do with my day? I'm so new and don't know what to do at all. I've never been in a place like this before.." She smiled again a bit nervously and ashamed that she had to ask.

"Popo-chan, I'm not sure if I will be of much help to you. When I choose this life, they sent me off to school to be a maiko. All I have known, from my own short experience, is the life of a maiko. " She paused for a moment as she looked to the nervous maid, "My guess is that you sweep, and clean the floors, dust where it is needed and serve Ooka-san, Kyoku-san, and the other maiko when they call for you or a maid in general."
Iy-chan smiled to her and bowed to her once more, "I hope that helped you. If you will excuse me, Popo-chan, I have to get ready. I get my hair styled for the first time today."

"Wait Iyasu-san! Do you need any help today? I can help you if you do!" Tanpopo smiled eagerly. She had a great drive to please and make friends. She desparately needed the company of another and saw Iyasu as the perfect friend. Always loyal to her friends, Tanpopo strived to meet their needs and Iyasu was no different.

She paused in her step again and turned to face Tanpopo. She took in a breath and exhaled it very slowly before she spoke once more.
"Popo-chan, if you want, after I get dressed and eat, you may help me with a few things to do around my room." Iyasu smiled, trying her best to be nice, "But, I do want to keep you away from the rest of your duties. There are many chores to do around the okiya."

Tanpopo jumped from her seat and smiled excitedly. She said, "Thank you, thank you, Iyasu-san!! You're awesome! I will be sweeping the hallway, so come and get me when you need me!" Tanpopo ran to Iyasu and gave her a huge hug before running to grab a broom to get ready to sweep.
Tanpopo began sweeping the hallways of the Okiya humming a happy tune she learned when she was a little girl from her mother. Nothing could bring Tanpopo down right then. She was joyous and felt as though she finally had a purpose here in the Okiya and in this new world she had been thrust into after the tragedy that took her mother, father, and older sister, Nami, away from her. Things finally seemed to be going right again for Popo..

::She bowed ever so politely as she came across Seikeida in the kitchen and shook her head to answer her question. She then hurried off to the bathing area where she scrubbed herself clean and to make sure her scent was as appealing to her family as possible. After bathing herself she dried off hastely and dressed for bed. Walking to her sleeping quarters she polietly bowed towards all who crossed her path. Once in her place of slumber she arranged her beddings and gently crawled into bed. Excited beyond belief she could hardly sleep but none the less tried so that her deminor would be nothing short of perfect in the day to come. Whilethinking of all she had to do the next day she slowly drifted off to sleep.::

::with the sunshining in the morning sky Sasami Kawaii wakes ready to start the day. She quietly fixes her bed and dresses. Without the slightest sound she creepes out of her room and heads for the washroom. There she washes up and is eager to start another day. Gently walking out of the washroom she hurries to get her daily chores done. She decides dusting is what needs to be done first. She begins dusting away and politely bowing towards anyone who happens to cross her path.::

Raina keeps on cleaning the Okiya and slowly walks down its hall to see if anyone needs help. After realizing that no one needs her, Raina walks into the kitchen to make herself some tea.
"The Okiya is so quiet" She thought to herself. She sipped her tea quietly wondering when everyone else would finally be awake.

Iyasu smiled to Popo-chan and was about to bow to her ot excuse herself, but the maid had ran over to her and was hugging her. With soft sigh, Iyasu returned the hug lightly and the walked to bed room to get dressed. She listened to the joyful hum of the little maid as she journeyed to her room.
When she had finally reached her room with the door shut behind her, Iy-chan wondered when she might recieve another room mate. She shrugged it off as she went through a small trunk that held some plain kimono that her mother had given to her before she left. Precious family memories of past generations had woren these kimono. The maiko picked one out and dressed herself in a quick fashion. Now it was time for breakfast.

The okiya was unually quiet today. She sat in her room, continuing wityh calligraphy while sipping tea. There was no other sounds in the okiya besides the writing of her pen.
