Alicia was in dreamland, that was for sure. She blinked. "Uh..." she said stupidly. Her brain wasn't working. "Can we figure that out later?" she asked, sitting back up, embarrassed. "I don't want to think about my dad's reaction." She glanced warily at the pendant, sighing. She frowned, then turned her head slowly. "Do you get the feeling something bad just happened?"

Alicia smiled softly and nodded. "Me either!" she laughed, but without meaning to, kept on laughing. She started laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes!

Alicia held both of Gabriel's hand tightly, smiling, and nodded. She looked over at the pendant and it started glowing. "Alicia! What have you been doing?!" demanded her father's voice. Her mother's voice cut in again. "Hello, Gabriel!" it said cheerfully. Then her father: "Why are you holding my daughter's hand?!"

Alicia smiled, drinking in Gabriel's promises. Her mother's voice replied almost immediately, "Aw, are you getting married?!" Alicia's smile dropped. "Mother! Don't you think that's a little quick?!" Her father answered. "Yes! I do!" he sighed heavily. "Risk your life, eh? ...Well..." Alicia mother: "Come on, dear, he was such a sweet little boy!" Her father: "Little boys change! Their minds start thinking about-" then there was a lot of muffled voices. Alicia froze. "...Uhm..." she felt very awkward right then.
