Rei smiled a nervous smile. Her eyes were beautiful. It seemed strange to him that he never noticed them. He figured he just never had the time to relax and think about it. He then felt the emotions mixing between them. It made him feel kinda fuzzy and weird inside, He'd never felt this way about anyone before.
Before rei had a chance to think, He placed his hand gently on her cheek, and leaned in to kiss her, albeit he was turning bright red underneath the renewed fur.
((I'm in, I think it kinda actually fits the story a lot too, think about how Rei and holly have been acting towards each other all along. Also, A little Romance could throw in something to make the story and even the fights a bit more interesting.))

((Aw yeah! Hurray! And once we get Drake back, he and Lili can start talkin'! Booyah! I'm so excited!! *dances crazily*))
Holly's face went red and she felt hot all over. She leaned forward the tiniest bit and let her lips touch his. Her emotions were all over the place. She couldn't tell his from hers. She liked the feeling of his fur against her face- it was soft and warm. Holly's heart beat crazily against her rib cage-she'd never been kissed before.
Cliff smiled to himself and pulled the papers he was looking at closer to his face. It tickled him to see Holly act that way, for some reason. He supposed it was because he had been with her since the beginning of her new life...She was growing up. Funny how he felt like a father to her.
((*super giggle-snort* You know what I just realised? There's a four year age difference between Rei and Holly...She's sixteen....I don't, personally, find it odd/weird/ gross(what have you) in this situation. Age really isn't a big deal in the world their in. They've all almost died, I think they grants you enough maturity to be considered an adult no matter how old you are. Plus, not like we're going to be having any steamy moments...lol.))

Alekssander didn't even give Holly and Rei another glance; he knew all too well what they were doing. Suddenly filled with an indescribable emotion, he suddenly and silently got up from his bunk and crawled into Amelia's. Settling in next to her sleeping form, he brought his arm over, a gentle one-armed embrace. Once he lay there next to her, however, all of his tension and stress seemed to melt away. 'I'll bring up the topic in the morning, if I even decide to. But for now, This is all I want.' He thought to himself.
((At least Alekssander & Amelia and Drake & Lili are the same age...))

Rei pulled away softly, and then stifled a little laugh. "Drake's going to hate me for that..." He said with a smile. It felt oddly comfortable to express how he felt for her. He had never really been able to feel this way, He'd never let himself. He wasn't sure why he did this time, But he was happy about it. It felt good. His mind then flashed to how this could turn out bad, but he pushed the thought from his mind, Wanting to stay in the moment, then in the future with maybes.

Holly giggled quietly; her cheeks rosy red, "Yeah, but I'll knock him in the head if he tries to do anything about it." She could feel his mind go over something that bothered him, but quickly go on to other things. It was so interesting to be feeling what he felt. His hands on her face, his face so close to hers- it all was too much, and yet she loved the overwhelmingness of it.
Suddenly she thought of something that scared her very much. She pulled away from Rei completely- no contact between them anymore. It surprised her how much it seemed to hurt to do so, but she felt she had to. The happiness in her eyes vanished and her blushing faded to pale and quiet fear. She looked away from Rei and muttered, "I'm sorry, it's just..." she couldn't finish her sentence as she looked down at her hands- wondering if she had gotten too much more overwhelmed, would she have lost control of her new power and hurt him? She would have killed herself if that happened.
She drew her knees to her chest as she sat in the dirty chair. Her emotions were all over the place now. Maybe she should have just stayed touching him. Her heart didn't know what to feel- happy or sad. Her chest hurt and she was afraid of hurting his feelings. Tears welled in her eyes.

Despondent, Lili fell into a laying position on her cot. She was trying her best to ignore what was going on at the table, but to no avail. 'Pointless drama, that's all.' she thought to herself, trying to convince herself that that wasn't what she wanted, a romance like that. 'I survived on my own, all alone...that's what I wanted....right?'

Remus left his bunk, leaving his snoring brother quietly. He walked down the hall casually his hands stuffed in his jacket pockets. He headed towards the heavily protected area of the labs where he had left Drake. Once he got there a scientist led him to a white walled section and then into a dark room. He looked through the one-way glass into a room where Drake was tied to a table.
"He's been resisting heavily. I've never seen someone strong enough to hold out for so long. It's not even that he's physically resisting, it's just this strange..." The scientist explained and trailed off.
"A force stopping you from truely entering and controlling his mind?" Remus asked as he continued to stare into the room.
"Yes, precisely. That's why I called you down here." The scientist said as he turned towards Remus.
"So I can try to get in his head and help you guys control him?" Remus asked.
"Yes."
"Alright. I'll give it a shot." Remus said as he left the room and headed for the next room.
The scientist watched at Remus strode into the room, pushed past the other scientists, immediatel turned into a shadow and coated Drake in his darkness.

Rei frowned a little. He wasn't sure of what she was thinking until a few seconds later. By the time he clued in, the tears began to well in her eyes. He gently wiped them away. "It's okay... I'm not afraid of your powers... Plus, You can change the effects... you can change the outcome." He wasn't sure of what to do, He wanted to hug her, wanted to hold her, but he didn't know if she'd want him to right now. He took a seat beside her, and leaned back in the chair.

"But..."Holly started but stopped herself. Who was she kidding? If she was determined enough she knew she could fix her wrong. Holly sniffled, whiped her hand across her face and crawled onto Rei's lap. She snuggled in close to him, not wanting to ever leave the spot.
"I'm not afraid of them either." Holly whispered then kissed him on the cheek.

Rei smiled and then kissed her back. He then yawned to his own surprise."Gee, I didn't realize how late it was..." He then smiled and picked her up in his arms. "Lets go to bed..." He said with a smile. "That is, If your tired..." He said as he walked down to the cots, and then laid her on one with a smile, before taking a seat on the bed across from her nervously.

Holly yawned- catching it from Rei. "Yeah, I'm pretty tired. All that running around is hard." She saw and felt his nervousness and smiled, "What's wrong?"

"Good night Rei." Holly smiled. She closed her eeys and let a soft blanket of the feeling of secruity wash over them all. She almost fell asleep immediately.
