Kalore nodded and continued to stay comfortable on there on Monty's back. Once he heard the growl though, no matter how soft it was, the elf raised a brow, "Something wrong?" Hopefully Kalore hadn't done something to annoy him already. It seemed like this would be a new paranoia...

Monty looked at Kalore nodded. He wasn't going to lie to the elf about his dislike, or maybe hate, for Eri. "I don't like the idea of you anywhere near Eri." Mind you, this was his feeling ever since he met the elf in the forest near the tower. Sure having that elf for political alliance was fine but having Kalore in the hands of a fool like him who treats this elf like a possession instead of a person that just doesn't sit well with him. Plus, he has been slightly possessive of Kalore ever since too.

Looking confused, Kalore had to think for a moment before he spoke. He knew that Monty didn't like Eri, but that was just because of how rude Eri was to him and the comments that were said. At least, that's what the blonde man believed. "Why? I mean, I know he didn't come off as a good guy, and I really don't like him, but, why don't you like the idea?" There was a sense of true curiosity instead of annoyance or humor in his voice.

Monty clenched his jaw tightly and shook his head. "I don't think it's the right time for my me to express that Kalore." He said not wanting to disrespect Kalore since the elf was in a agreement with Eri, so why jeapordize his place?

Eyebrows shooting up, Kalore blinked, "Monty, something you should know about me is that when you bring something up, I go to all lengths to know what it was, especially when you avoid what I want to know." He blinked again and placed his head back on Monty's shoulder. "Why, Monty?"

Monty looked at the elf. "Then go ahead to all lengths to know because I promise you that I won't break no matter what you do." He said, slightly arrogant and looked away with his chin slightly up. "Would a strawberry keep you happy?" He asked, thinking that if the strawberry distracted Kalore then he might not have to answer.

"It would, but I still want to know, Monty." Kalore looked concerned, "Is there something wrong with Eri? Did he do something to you? Well... Other than what I've seen?" He didn't know if that was it or not, but maybe Eri did something bad to Monty.

Monty snorted. "That little boy couldn't do nothing to me if it meant burning along with his club." He said, thinking that it was a risky thing to do but he would do it. "I just don't like him." The demon was a male and didn't like other males to mess with those he cared for. It was instinct.

The elf continued to look worried, "Why? I mean, other than be an a** to you, has he done anything else to make you dislike him?" Kalore didn't know exactly why it he wished to know so badly. More than likely it was just because the elf was a curious person, but there was also the reasoning that told him to find out what Eri did and kick his a** for it.

Monty looked at Kalore with narrowed eyes. "Why do you want to know so badly?" He asked. Should he tell Kalore his reasoning? It was most likely stupid but that was just the honorable male in him.

Sighing, green eyes looked a bit ashamed as he spoke, "I really don't know." Kalore paused for a moment before he continued, "It's probably something that means nothing, just something for my curiosity, but then again," He paused again and thought for another moment. Kalore continued, the shame gone from his eyes, "I don't want you to snap at Eri one day, or him make you snap or however it happens, and not know why. If I know why, then I can understand and just let you kick his a**. But if I don't, then I wouldn't be able to do that." He shrugged, "You've got great self-control, but I actually hope you kick his a** one day."

Monty tilted his head to the side. "I hate him because of him and because of the way he treats you." He said, getting Kalore another strawberry. It wasn't to get him distracted but it was just because he wanted to give the elf one. "Besides, I might not be able to kick his a**, not without upsetting Rave." He said, getting on for himself.

The elf nodded in thanks and bit softly into the red fruit, once again safe from the acidic pain. "I see. Well, thank you for caring about how he treats me, but it'll be fine. I mean, it's only for a few months, right? And you guys can visit. As for Rave..." He smiled, "Eri will lose his use for both Rave and Kyin. Once he does, we'll be sure to tell you."

Raising a brow, the demon looked at Kalore with some interest. "Really? What do you mean he will lose use for the both of them? Doesn't Kyin and Rave need him?" He asked, wanting to know alittle more so that if it comes down to it, he can stick Eri into some nasty little toys he has.

Again, Kalore nodded, "At the moment. Well, I don't know, really. I know that Eri's useful, but since we're talking about Rave and Kyin, they don't really need anyone to get anything. Eri is just an item that makes things easier for them." He shrugged, "I'm sure that Rave will finally snap one day and go off, ending the contract. Kyin will live with it for as long as needed, but once Rave goes off, it'll be done."
