I leave my account logged in all the time, having a personal computer. I'm sure i'm not the only one...right? So that is another possibility for whoever you are referring to.

Luo1304
Cain the Blade
this is why i am so innactive here, everytime i post and the person is online, and also coems on several times, its as if they refuse to post. wtf

If you are referring to me Cain, I didn't "refuse" to post. I've never "refused" to post. When I turn my laptop on, I'm automatically logged onto gaia. Furthermore, if I AM actually online and I'm not replying, it's because I'm working to make this guild a better place for everybody to roleplay. I'm not going to apologize for being online and not replying according to your schedule Cain. I WILL reply as fast as I can, but just because it isn't as fast as YOU want it to be it doesn't give you the right to complain like that. Matter of fact, even if this doesn't refer to me and in fact refers to LT or something, I'm still gonna flesh my point out if you don't mind.

Just as gaia automatically logs me on, it could very well be possible that it's logging Tares or whoever you're talking about on automatically as well. Just cause he looks logged on, it doesn't mean he's actually on the website man. If you really want to roleplay and it honestly seems to you like he's online, send him a PM. I'm sure you do cause you usually send me PM's, but yeah. I don't mean to come down on you with an iron fist like that about this subject, but in all the times I've been completely absent due to sickness, school, internet problems, or all three, despite me being unable to post in the hiatus log I have NEVER had anyone post a message like this referring to me. And I'm the kage for goodness sakes. What I'm getting at is cut people some slack man. I've seen you online plenty of times for hours on end while I've waited for you to post both here and in NUR, but I let it go because you just might be doing something else important. Hell, Shayera has pm'ed me in the past saying she's seen you online for three hours straight one time yet you didn't reply to her RPC that entire day.

So unless you're completely without mistake (and nobody is), let's all give each other a break okay?

heart !!!

So can anyone answer my mist question?

The New LT
I have a question, isnt the entire mist village held in constant mist right? So a new comer wont be able to seeing anything unless they know how to see threw the mist first right?

Well, I wouldn't say that, because if that were true, then it would be required that all academy students learn mist sight, which is a Special/Jounin technique.

I think the village is surrounded in mist, so it would be difficult to find it unless you knew where it was. Maybe the mist is a lot thinner in the village itself. Plus, you can still see through mist, but your range of sight would be severely limited.

True, but without training to see through the mist, then you're at a disadvantage when you are doing missions. Going off pure memory is kinda hard. Plus you'd have to be fairly close to someone to tell who they were, and if it is an enemy shinobi, then you are probably about to die.

( That is until you get Mist vision )

Edit:
But yeah, the surroundings of the village should be shrouded in mist. Dramatic and effective as a means of keeping people away, while at the same time keeping inexperienced ninja in. So I'm basically agreeing with ou.

er...just to make sure this is like, known. the village isn't like, completely pervaded by a uber thick mist so that you can't see in front of your face or something. Its the village 'hidden' in the mist. The outlines of the village are covered with that uber thick mist which may sometimes float around through the village. But the mist just 'hides' the village. its still a regular village, with regular townsmen. (merchants, tailors, etc). Its not like Sparta: The Misty City or something.

here's a picture though, just for reference. Its the flashback from when haku and zabuza left the village.

You guys should probably look at the pictures of the mist village posted in the first post of the mist gates (which has that same picture), and in the thread titled "the complete annotation of the mist" which gives an overhead view of the village. The mist village is surrounded by mountains actually, which is what makes it so hard to get to and why of the five great villages it is the most secretive. It's just a difficult village to reach in general.

Now, because of the mountains and its slightly higher elevation of the village, mist does in fact permeate the village entirely. Since mountains surround the village accept for the main gate and the hidden passageways known to higher ranking Kiri shinobi in order to cut off invaders before they reach the gates or leave the village, the village has mist in and around it. And because the village sits essentially in a bowl in the middle of all these mountains, the mist essentially settles into the village. Of course the mist is actually thicker outside of the village as well as the higher up you go, but that does not mean that the village is devoid of any mist. Just as the leaf village has trees inside and the sand village sand, the mist village has mist amongst it.

Now, outside of the village, it is very hard to see past three feet in front of you. In fact, if anyone read the first post of the village gates, that's described. In the village, it's still somewhat difficult to see for outsiders. I would say tops five to six feet of sight around you. The reason villagers are used to this without having to learn the jounin level jutsu is because growing up in mist is different from simply being a suiton user with the chuunin level technique Kirigakure no jutsu (hidden mist jutsu). By living in a village permeated in mist, it's pretty clear that their eyes would have to adapt to the weather around them. In essence, Kiri natives have adapted like any other animal to the mist around them. This isn't to say that they don't see mist at all, but their eye sight is a lot wider and clearer in the mist than someone who's never been there. The reason that even Kiri-nin have to learn the jounin level mist vision jutsu is because the hidden mist jutsu is just that: a jutsu. Even though its mist, it's also someone's chakra. And you can't see through someone's chakra...unless of course you have a doujutsu, and even then you can't really see through it so much as see someone's chakra coming from their body. Not to mention that the mist from this jutsu is extremely thick, as thick if not thicker than the mist outside of the village.

Does this answer everyone's questions?

(ITS WHAT YA GET FOR LEAVING THIS AWESOME VILLAGE! Now enough OOC before Luo gets mad)

Yeah, both of you delete the OOC in my tower. I've made it very clear in the past that the entire reason each village HAS an OOC chat room, is so that you can you know.......POST YOUR OOC IN IT. Or as I've said before, place your OOC in your next post in whatever thread it is as long as you're actually supposed to be posting there. It disrupts the flow of roleplay when someone goes through hoping to see a replying post from someone, but instead they just find OOC that actually has a place to be put. The least we can all do is reserve roleplay to either the top or bottom of our own RP posts, or to the OOC thread okay guys?

@Jade: Yeah, we ALL miss Tsuki. You really shouldn't have left the village, but oh well.

Funny that you should call us the weakest village when in your own newsletter, you list us as number three of five. And in fact in that same newsletter if I remember correctly, the leaf village was under us in the village ranking. It seems our very own guild reporter doesn't quite have his ducks in a row when it comes to the facts...."I'm just sayin" stare

Now, our chatroom is for many things, but blatantly insulting our village is not one of them, especially when your accusations aren't correct even by your own accounts in your newsletter. And trust me Mistah, I've been doing something about it long before you had anything to say about it. I just like to have all my eggs in one basket before making any moves.

And hey, what I said was true: We all really do miss Jade's character. She was very interesting...and loud haha.

(From out of nowhere, a jet flies by, seemingly aiming itself to fly over Mistah, with a banner at the end that reads "Owned")

Now do you see why Luo is the other VC?
