She was at his side at once. "its alright.. its okay wake." She spoke gentally touching his forehead. It was probally time for another drink with the laced opium anyway. Thats probally why he was dreaming of his pain.

Katherine had to close her eyes to keep her face passive he had to be calm so she had to be calm she was far from calm though. When it was over she motioned for him to lay back down and helped him with his drink. "Here now, we will have plently of time to worry about all that. Right now you need rest and ..this will make you feel better. I have gained some strength back so i can start to work on some of these burns. I have also sent in for a priest of Lithiona to come so that way there won't be so much scaring." She gave a gental smile to him careful to leave panic far out of the room.

They all stop on top of a building near the tavern that katherine had been in when she was thrown out the window. Matachi raises his hand signaling his men to move into their positions, two take two ropes dropping them down from the roof held nicely by a metal hook. They slide down now, it is hard to define amongst them who is matachi, they know but others that look on won't.

Black turned his head when she slapped him. He looked at hear in tears while she explained all of this. He knew very well what went on and how it should go. He looked down as she took off the bandages, feeling sick himself looking at the wounds. Though he looked back up at her. "Sometimes we need something to remind us why not to make that same mistake again. If we just take away the scars, what will we learn?"

She was shakeing now she couldn't help it, fustartion and worry were eating at her. "Stop argueing with me Black." She said simply and started to put the cream back on his burns. "I am sick of the two of you douting me, i know what i am doing. Its my fault anyway not yours. I should have stayed here and kept you from going." She didn't want him to disagree. For once she just didn't.

Without so much as a doubting word, Black picked his arm and planted one across her cheek, though not as hard. He winced from the pain of the burn and put his arm down. "It was all my fault Katherine. Don't blame yourself. I should have listened to you. I really should have. Now I have to live this for the rest of my life. So shut up about blaming yourself. Both of you should be mad at me."

As Matachi was doing his work, an unknown force stood on the roof. Both rangers were blasted by fire, sent careening towards the ground as screaming fireballs. There was a short laugh when they fell.

"Yes well you would have thought you not listening to me and seeing how you ended up Matachi would have done the same. I am going light on you because your hurt enough but.." she shook his head. "nothing for you to fret over now. Come i will sing the rest of that song for you while i do the healing. If you say no to it i will force it upon you and it will only hurt me so deal." She spoke the last part more strickly as she picked up the tune of her song again. The second part was about a dream the girl had when she had gotten older. A dream when it was snowing outside, it was about white red and black. When she woke she relized that only her true love would hold those colors. As she sang her power worked into him again the lung was now fine all his organs were okay the burns are what she worked on now.

Even if she could heal his organs, it was still a matter of the other stab wounds and his burns. Though he would be lulled into incredibly drowsiness by the song.

Having done his work for the night, the man heads back for the door. He's satisfied by the death knells of his victims, laughing as they burn to the ground. He pushes the door open with his staff, but before he makes it inside, he hears another presence. Turning around, sees what looks like another one of them. He pulls down the mask, half black and half white. "It's dangerous at night. You never know who could wandering around."
